I bought the Nativity set from Family Christian last week. Its worth every (discounted) penny. I paid $22.xx for it. It arrived quickly and I'm very pleased with it. Check periodically and see if they're still having the sale. Its adorable!

I read that there was a Little Drummer Boy playset a few years ago. Does Fisher Price retire toys? Or is there a chance that will be out also? I'd love to get that.

I love the Little People Nativity! We have all of the sets -- the shepherds, wise men, and drummer boy set along with the main one. I will keep these until my kid has kids. I love them!

I hear ya! I have two different Veggietales ones and a Playmobile one too. I really want the FP set, but the kidlets are now 15 and 11!

I have to admit that I was lurking on the FP site last night. I think I might have to order it.

I agree with pp who wants a lego one - that would be so cool!

I guess I am just a big kid at heart. I have a Thomas train set around the tree, Veggietale and Playmobile nativity sets, Little People and Lego figurines all over the place. Oh, yeah...most of my christmas tree ornaments are disney and snoopy.

My mom bought DS one for Christmas last year. Apparently Baby Jesus is good for knocking decorations off the Christmas tree!

Okay...my son is a teenager and it has been a long time since I have had any Fisher Price toys in the house, but I am very confused by this thread.

Fisher Price has a line of toys called "Little People" or are modeled after Little People?? I would think that they would change the name to be sensitive to a particular group of people.

Fisher Price Little People sets have been around for years! I'm 31 and I remember playing with them as a kid. My mom actually still has some of our original ones. Back when we were younger it was a farm with little wooden people. Came with a tractor and a driver, a cow, horse, chicken, etc... Now they have a house set that make all kinds of sounds, a barn set that again makes all kinds of sounds, a garage set, nativity set, camping set, circus set, and tons more. They have a wide variety of races, occupations, male/female people. Go down the Fisher Price Isle at any target or walmart and they will fill up most of the isle. They are for role playing. I don't think they need to change the name at all. There is NOTHING negative about these sets.

It was a small set. It came with an angel, some sheep, three shepherds, and a black and white dog. Oh yeah, and a hill that they can stand on/around.

I saw them on the Target shelf just the other day.

It is redesigned a bit. The one I had came with a cart and the new ones don't but it is still dang cute!

My DS just loves his.
