I was reading some topics regarding Hotwire/Priceline. One of the DIS members, jtopicz1, apparently has a website that lists bids, etc., but I can't find a link or an address. Does anyone know it? I PM'd jtopicz1, but haven't gotten a response. Thanks for your help.

I've received several phone calls / emails from Hotwire asking me to discontinue the site. The message boards will remain up, however, at this point. If you have any specific questions regaurding bidding strategies, just PM me or post in this thread.

Well that is interesting. I wonder what Hotwire can actually do? It appears that Priceline has not taken these steps or bidding for travel would be long gone (I note that it also has a hotwire section!)

I'm sorry to hear that, Jim. Bidding for Travel does have a large disclaimer concerning Hotwire. I guess they're not as friendly as Priceline...

Well, it wasn't that they could actually force me to take my site down, they essentially asked me to, which is fine. I use them on occassion, and get great deals, so I hate to interfere with their business. They were actually very nice about it. So I just decided to watch the threads, and help people out via these boards any way I can. My boards will remain up, just won't be promoting them for now.
