We will be at IOA and Universal Studios for Thanksgiving. And while I am very disappointed about missing the Macy's day Parade,I am excited about Grinchmas. I am hoping to get more detailed info about the actual events surrounding this. Also I heard that there is a Whoville tree lighting ceremony.Any info on this ?
Also Does anyone know if the Hotels at Universal or Citiwalk do anything special?

The tree lighting is done during the last show of the day. The tree is impressive because it's at least 30-40 feet tall!

The Grinchmas show. The one where they tell the whole story in about 20 minutes, if it's still in that format.

The spectacular Whoville Whobilation musical show.

DM, did they change the format of the show? Last time they had the show split in 3 different acts through out the day. Each one lasted about 15-20 minutes. Or am I remembering it wrong? At the end of the last act the whovillians end their day with the tree lighting ceremony.

Jessica-That was how it originated, the separate acts. Last year they 3 acts were combined into one, if I'm not mistaken.

Fletcher-They start shortly after HHN ends.

Okay Thanks! Looking forward to seeing it again this year!

When does Grinchmas run until ?

We get into Orlando on Boxing Day, so hopefully we'll get the chance to check it out.

Thanks.

MotherFletcher,

Only when my lass really annoys... forget that ! ;)

Forgive me if I'm being dumb and missing a joke, or if it's just not a holiday that you guys know of stateside ? Boxing day is a public holiday here in the UK, December 26th. I know it's not a holiday in the USA, but thought you might still call it the same thing.

Jessica,

Ahhh, so that's the infamous underdog I've heard referrred to so often on Friends then huh ? Kinda looks like a mix beween Snoopy, Droopy, Pluto and Superman... ;)

Thanks again.

We also celebrate Boxing Day in Canada. It is also an extremely busy shopping day (the stores have the choice to open). Not to mention another day off work! :bounce:

It's busy EVERYWHERE on that day. All the shopping centers, theme parks, movie theaters, beaches, etc.

That's right. All those after Christmas sales.... uggghhh!
