We are thinking of adding 1-2 days at Busch Garden for our next trip. Looking at Undercovertourist.com, I see a price of $75 for one day plus 1 bonus day tickets. Reading some threads, I'm wondering if the 2nd day must be used within 7 days of the fist visit.

Also, do they have anything like fast pass or express pass where we can get through lines faster? Any perks for staying at their hotels (assuming they have hotels!)

We usually do Disney and Universal, but we're debating Universal and Busch Gardens (thinking late September). We usually rent a house, but for this trip, I'm thinking of staying on-site at Universal for express pass use.

How are the crowds at Busch Gardens compared to Disney or Universal parks? Any days better than others? Anything else I should know as we start to consider this option?

Thanks!

I am buying ours off of the Busch Gardens website. They are $65 and you have to use the bonus day within 7 days.

THANKS for the tip! Even after paying for taxes, buying direct from Busch Gardens site saves about $20. Every little bit helps!!

I bought on Sea world site 2 park ticket for Busch and Seaworld this was before their price increase a few months ago and it was $89+tax for the 2 park ticket valid for 14 days from 1st day of use

The 2nd day does have to be used in 7 days I believe, and yes they have a thing called quick que to skip lines. It's priced $15-$25 depending on the season and day of the week. Quick Que let's you walk to the front once for all major rides including all coasters and water rides. But you shouldn't need it if you go on a week day, the park usually isn't to crowded, compared to a Disney crowd, depending on the day its bliss. If your into animalsand roller coasters, then you Busch Gardens is a very good option. If you have any other questions feel free to ask. I'm a annual pass holder and go there quite often.

Just went to BG yesterday. Quick Queue was 15 dollars, but like the poster above said, outside of SheiKra, every single ride was basically a walk on. The most I saw ShreiKra at was 15-18min wait.

We also got the All Day Dining plan at 29.99 per person. At first I didn't think we'd get the value out of it with the parks only open 10-6, but then I started mentally adding up all the Aquafina waters we were getting that would have been 2.50 a pop. If they had Coke Zero in the parks instead of Pepsi, I might have even made my ticket money back. :)

We had a great time, and Critter Castaways may be my favorite show at any park outside of possibly Fantasmic and the budget is probably 1/100th of it. It was so fun and cute that I wished we had gone to an earlier show just so I could have gone back later for another one.

I know a lot of people always ask about Dinsey bringing back the skyway and BG has their own SkyRide that is a fantastic relaxing ride that covers a large amount of the park. We loved it.

THANKS for the info :) How are the roller coasters there? My kids love big, fast rides.

How long of a drive is it from the Disney area?

Any/all info is appreciated!!!

Your kids are going to love it. It has more big, fast rides than any park in Florida.

I'm staying about 5 minutes from Downtown Disney and the drive was approximately an hour and twenty minutes. Very simple drive with few turns.

Yes, also mentioned by a previous poster Critter Castaways is a fantastic show and is worth seeing, its very cute. The Roller Coasters there are like nothing you find at Disney, the majority of them are big, fast, and epic, I guess would be a good word for it. The majority of rides at Busch are thrill rides so your thrill loving kids will love it! When ever you deem its time for a break go ahead and hop on the serengeti express or the sky ride, you can get some great glimpses of the animals. Depending on when you are going one of them or both might be down. Busch is currently at work doing some building, the train and its tracks are out in some places right now so its not open at the moment and I heard the skyride will be down for the rest of the year here pretty soon. Its a new roller coaster and animal exhibits that are going up, just thought you'd like the pre-warning.

We plan on going to Bush Gardens Williamsburg for July 4th weekend

We're assuming it'll be PACKED so we're looking into the quick queue. I saw on the website that you get a wristband for the unlimited one, so that is not transferrable (which makes sence).

But, is the 1 ride each quick queue transferrable? If DD is too short (or too scared) for a ride, could DW or I use her pass to go on that ride an extra time?

Could we get two quick queue's per person? I think going on each ride twice would be enough for us, and that would be about $10 cheaper/person.

Thanks for the help!
