Looking for infant costume (3-6mo)...

and the Disney store only sells 6-12 months as the smallest size. DS will only be 4 months old so they are way too big. Does anyone know where I can find a costume for him that is not totally dorky. I refuse to make him a pumpkin or pea in the pod! My DDs wanted him to be Jack Jack but at this point I would be happy with even a nice lion or bear.

I had the same problem last year so I ended up making my sons costume myself. I made a pair of black pants that I shreded at the bottom, a striped vest and bandana for his head and he wore a white onsie underneeth. He looked like a little pirate. It is fairly easy and you could take a pair of black sweatpants and shred them and find a stripped shirt and cut off the sleeves and make it into a vest. if You wanted to do a pirate look that is. We were able to order from disneyshopping.com a 3-6 month size.

DSn was born on Oct 24 and was tigger from walmart that year. We went to grandmas house and the neighbors. Our local childrens clothing store has a few little disney costumes in I saw yesterday. I'll go check today and see what they have. Mum

You should go to the Disney store and look at them. Some of them are very small compared to other 6-12 month clothes.

J&D over on the costumes trading thread pg 1 has
"I am ISO adult Disney costumes. I have 2 NWT Eeyore infant costumes/fleece sets to tade- 3 M and 6 M. I also have some infant pumpkin and ladybug costumes"

Last year my youngest was just shy of 3 months at Halloween. I wasn't going to do anything, but my oldest insisted. I went to Target where they had sleepers that were Halloween themed. They had pumpkins & a black cat. Boy were really cute, and much more comfortable & practical for a baby that age. They go fast though, so if you think you want them, look now.

Also, look at Old Navy. Three years ago I got the CUTEST little bear costume in a 9m, but they had smaller sizes too.
