We are surprising our nieces with this trip. The only one who will really understand is the 4 (almost 5) year old. I want to tell her the day of because if we tell her the night before she will never sleep and the next day of travel will be too hard for her! Here's what I am thinking....

Our flight leaves very early (we will get them up around 4:30 am). When the grogginess wears off we tell her we are going on an airplane to a very special place and give her a "clue". I don't want it to be so obvious that she will know right then! We have 3 plane rides and 2 lay overs so I am thinking 6 clues and then when we get to Orlando give her the Magic Band that is "her key to Disney World"!

I need help coming up with some clues. I was going to print them out and put them in envelopes. She can't read yet (if that helps - lol!) One I thought of was a map of Disney World. As she can't read yet I don't think she will know what it is of!

Any help would be appreciated!

I would do a map for sure. We wrapped up a map as a gift for our 5 and 2 year old and the 5 year old thought that was the gift, lol! It took some proding to get him to figure it out!

Love the map idea! You could also get an autograph book, an Eeyore tail, maybe a Mickey shaped rice krispy treat...So many fun things!

How about a Mickey's Clubhouse coloring book for on the plane? Or Disney stickers? I have found both at Dollar Tree.
