Looking for good rental neighborhood

The last few years we have stayed at Windsor Hills and Windsor Palms.

I liked them very much. This year, we are going on a Disney cruise so before the cruise we are gonna do more shopping, sea world - not disney this year.

So instead of staying down below Disney, I'd like to stay up closer to International Drive, closer to the shopping.

Does anyone know of a neighbourhood that is in a similar league to the Windsor neighborhoods. It would be nice if it was gated and had the community pool but not a dealbraker - just wondering what is out there in that "neck of the woods"

Vista Cay is near Seaworld and Universal. It's gated. We've never stayed there but VRBO reviews seem good.

Thanks. That community only goes up to three bedroom and I'll be renting a bigger house.

There are no pool home rentals in that area which is Orange County. Short term rentals are not allowed. That's why you only see them in the Kissimmee area and beyond (Osceola, Polk and Lake Counties). Indian Wells is an older neighbourhood which is the closest to the Lake Buena Vista area, near the Walmart on 535. There are a few rentals but it's mostly permanent residents.
