Looking for garlic bread recipes

I used to add cheese of some kind but then decided we didn't need the extra calories.
 
I don't have a recipe because I am not a measurer.


Melt butter, add in herbs--I use garlic(a bunch), oregano(just a tiny bit) and basil(a bunch) and then add in parmesan cheese til it becomes sorta thick. Then slather it on bread and bake. For the last couple minutes turn on the broiler to brown the top, but be careful! I also add mozzerella/provolone to the top sometimes. Yum:goodvibes
 
Slice the bread, spread with either butter or olive oil depending on your taste then rub down with a garlic clove. Wrap 3/4 in foil and bake, leaving the top open so it gets crispy.
 

I grate up 1-2 cloves of garlic into some butter, cream it with a fork or mixer if it's still stiff - and add in some fresh parsley. I let that sit for an hour or two to meld then I spread it onto bread, wrap in foil and heat in the oven.
 
I LOVE making it with Roasted Garlic. YUM!

INGREDIENTS
3 bulbs garlic
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 (1 pound) loaf Italian bread
1/2 cup butter
salt to taste
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

DIRECTIONS
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Slice the tops off of the garlic bulbs so that the tip of each clove is exposed. Place the bulbs on a baking sheet, and drizzle with olive oil. Bake for 30 minutes, or until garlic is soft.

Set the oven to broil. Slice the loaf of bread in half horizontally, and place cut side up on a baking sheet.
Squeeze the cloves of garlic from their skins into a medium bowl. Stir in the butter, parsley, salt and Parmesan cheese until well blended. Spread onto the cut sides of the bread.
Broil for about 5 minutes, until toasted.
