Looking for FUN idea for 2yo DS

Hi,

First post... Hope you can help.

We are bringing the family to WDW and planning the Bibbdid Bobbidi Boutique for DD and were looking for a special event for 2yo boy (his first visit!). Any suggestions?

Well he isn't old enough for BBB but if you take him to the Main Street Barbershop they will give him a fun hairdo with glitter & confetti! If it is his first haircut they will give him a certificate & Mickey Ears that say First Haircut! Enjoy!

Hi and welcome!!! My grandparents were from Newfoundland!

This is our first trip in 18 years. BBB is simply not in our budget. If the mood strikes me, I'll take all 3 kids to the Main St. Barbershop for glitter/gell hairdos.

Welcome to the DIS!!!! Here are some ideas:

* take him to the arcade (in Tomorrowland or your resort)

* take him to every single cheesy midway game in the Dino area of Animal Kingdom-- these are great fun

* take him on a miceboat ride (little 2 seater powerboats at the Disney marinas at some resorts and DTD) - your dh can take him if your dd goes to bbb at downtown disney

* take him shopping for a pirate hat and sword and eyepatch

* take him to the Lego store at Downtown Disney-- they have a nice selection of Duplos as well as Lego playing stations outside. We spend hours here!!

Thanks for all the suggestions. This fall, we're bringing our 2-1/2 year old daughter for her first trip together with her 5 year old sister. We will try your suggestions.

When we went last year, DS was almost 2 1/2. He loved a late breakfast at Chef Mickey's, especially since we sat out where we could watch the monorail come through every few minutes. After breakfast we got in line for the monorail and asked the cm on the platform if we might be able to ride up front with the driver. He said he would check when it came in and it ended up being available. The driver talked to DS during the ride, gave us all co-pilot licenses and we were able to enjoy a great view from the huge window in the front.
