looking for free international character clipart

I'm looking to do my own passports. I'm having trouble finding the free character cliparts with the international flare. Can anyone send me in the right direction?

I was looking for the same thing this weekend but didn't come up with anything. I didn't even think to post on here for it.

Hi Hon
I've been thinking on this

so take a Country --for instance France

Look for a map

Then look for characters that fit that image

Then look for landmarks you would see in that country

here's what I came up with last night for France

Pin pic are great (although they take hours if not longer to clean up usually)-congrats Hon I'd love to see the passport when you've finished it.

Oh wow - you guys are great! Random question, but is it possible to save a gif image as a jpg without losing transparency? I am doing a photobook and the new tool I uploaded, while much better than the one I was using, will only do jpg images It doesn't recognize most of my clipart.

Once you save an image as a jpeg it flattens it out so any transparency becomes white and if you will no longer have layers.
