I know a while back some folks posted bread recipes. I'm looking for a
no-knead bread that's quick and easy, or any tasty recipe you'd like to share!

Thanks!

Thank you for the link - this is the bread my mother makes and it is out of this world, simply the best homemade bread - but takes 18 hours to make. I'm looking for an easier, faster recipe though, anyone?

If you have a Kitchen Aid mixer and an hour try this:

http://erincooks.com/kitchenaid-sixty-minute-dinner-rolls/

I halve the recipe for rolls [make dough into square, cut with pizza cutter into 16 pieces and bake in an 8" greased cake pan], but I am sure that you could put the dough in a loaf pan for real bread, if you wanted to.

I make this recipe every Monday for fresh rolls all week. Nuke 10sec in the mirco and yum.

Beer Bread

3 cups of self rising flour OR
(3 cups of regular flour mixed with 3 tsp baking powder and 1 tsp salt)
3 Tbls of sugar
1 can of beer (try some of the flavored ones)

Mix all and pour into greased loaf pan. Top with melted butter if desired and bake in 375 degree oven for 1 hour. Cool for at least 15 min. before cutting.
This is our favorite.

I think I will make some tonight with Pomegranete or Pumpkin Beer!

Thank you!!! I decided to make this as I had everything on hand and it had beer as an ingredient!!! It just came out of the oven and smells heavenly!

Do a search for English Muffin Bread, no kneading, stir it together, let it rise for a short time and pop it in the oven. It's a dense chewy bread with similar taste to English muffins. I've baked it in a round Pyrex casserole dish with sprinkled cornmeal at the bottom to prevent sticking.. yum and very pretty!

This is mine -- from the More With Less Mennonite Cookbook:

Easy No-Knead Whole Wheat Bread

Combine in large mixer bowl:

3 c. whole wheat flour
1/2 c. sugar
2 T. salt
3 pkg. dry yeast

Heat in saucepan until very warm (120-130 degrees):

2 c. water
2 c. milk
1/2 c. oil

Add to dry ingredients:

Warmed liquids
2 eggs

Blend at low speed until moistened. Beat 3 minutes at medium speed. Stir in by hand:

5-6 c. white flour

Use enough flour to form a stiff batter. Cover and let rise until double. Stir down and spoon into 2 greased 9X5" bread pans. Let rise 20-30 minutes. Bake at 375 degrees for 35-40 minutes.
