Looking for Dec. 2013 airfares

We are going to be booking flights to Florida for Christmas 2013. Can anyone recommend a website that I can search to see what we might expect to pay around Dec.24th? Even if I can see what fares were for 2012 it would give me a good idea of what to expect.

There are so many variables, it would be difficult to predict.

The legacy airlines should post their fares around the beginning of February (United, Delta, etc).

We paid $160 for flight Buffalo to Orlando for Friday December 21, 2012 with Southwest. We booked them the day they were released which was June 4, 2012. On top of that we paid for the EBCI which was $10 per person. We paid $175.80 per person to come home Saturday Jan 5, 2013 with Air Trans -Orlando to Buffalo- booked that the day they came out July 9, 2012-on top of that we will have to pay for luggage. It was more than I had hoped to pay- other years at Christmas we were far closer to the $100 range each direction but I never saw them go cheaper for our dates this year. It is so worth it........BEAUTIFUL HERE and we hear lots of snow at home!!!

LOL...yes, we've had 2 dumpings of snow here in the GTA. Approx. 20cm....Montreal got 45cm+

We will be flying from BUF and can go really anyplace in Florida. We'll rent a car so we just need to get there. I would be super thrilled to get fares for around $300/person.....I paid nearly that in July. This past year the fares have gone up a substancial amount and stayed there. I started stalking fares in Oct 2011 for our July 2012 trip and the best I saw for that period was in the $240(R/T) range.....of course I played the waiting game and lost, ended up paying about $290.
