Anyhow- off to catch up with the Eleventh Hour... Rufus Sewell is another moody, hunky Brit export (Hugh Laurie on House is another favourite..) , we at least get to see the shows he makes on our satellite service... mmmmmmmmmm mmmmmmmmm:rolleyes1

Tessa

Ooh Tessa i watch that too and didn't know he was a Brit, i didn't recognise him, what's he been in??
You know what i loove Hugh Laurie, but why why why did he not play a Brit in House??!! Such a shame!

Hi Girls!
YES! I am at the one week mark. Can you believe it because I can't! We have an ADR for the Luau we will probably be canceling and also a Hollywood & Dine Fantasmic ADR that we are reconsidering. I heard somewhere that the advanced seating situation is terrible and you might as well just wait with the other people...anyone heard anything about this? Also, I have a Leceliar lunch and dinner ADR. Will lunch be as good as dinner? We have to cancel one also.

My mood goes up and down...PMS doesn't help nor does Laura's situation. I feel so deeply for all you Laura! My doggies tummy troubles seem to be getting better but I really hope they don't get worse when my Mom leaves her again. My worst fear is that Chelsea will die when my Mom is away. Don't get me wrong I don't think she is that sick BUT she is 13 and anything can happen.

My DH said work is slowing down which scares the crap out of me. All my bills can be taken care of IF HE has consistent work! Otherwise...I don't even want to go there because now it's the summer and I can't get a teaching job/substituting job in the summer!

Kara..you never answered me about the photopass.....could you go in and create your own account by yourself? Anymore of that transpire?

Tina...I am glad your trip is back on!

Tammie...still thinking about ya! At least you have another month with the kiddies!

Jillian...Have you been able to stop by here?

Hi Tessa & Erin...glad things are going well. Sorry you have so much school left!

Hi Cammie....Hi Lydia

Lorrie...my allergies have been kicking my butt. That's why I have always felt sorry for you because I know how crappy they can make you fell.
BTW What size is your daughter now? I am actually going through things. Have I gotten rid of anything ...NOT REALLY....BUT I have at least started organizing and grouping it all. Well...the toys at least!

Oh wow how looovely although i loove changing my beds, cj an di both go crazy over clean bedding hahha however cleaning out the fridge :scared1: so am with you there

Debbie, we did Fantasmic with a HBD package in 2004. We ate early, like 4:30, and were given the "secret entrance" for an hour before the show. When we got in, we were given any seat we wanted in the right hand section. We took 3rd row up, as close the middle as we could get. I thought they were great seats, but they weren't center front. I guess center front is reserved for VIPs or something. I think it was worth it not to stand in line for an hour or more outside, but the seats in the back might be good, too. I didn't get to try them when we went in June, cuz it was rained out.:guilty:

I thought I read that there is no more "secret entrance" and that is what the problem is... I will have to keep investigating.

Our paperwork is notarized and will be sent tomorrow. Woohoo! We are already thinking ahead to next year's ""big" vacation at BLT with the kids. That 11-month booking window comes in handy for a control-freak-worry-wart like me!

Laura, once again, I'm so sorry. We had to put our dog down a couple of years ago. It was so heartbreaking - he left a big whole for a long time, but now he's a fond memory and it doesn't hurt so much. I hope the pain eases for you soon.

Debbie - I see what you mean. Why get the package if you aren't even guaranteed a seat, especially in the busy season?:confused3 I bet they take a big hit in their TS sales when everyone figures that out.

Lydia - :yay::yay::yay: It is so exciting to start dreaming of how you'll use those points!

Laura, I am so so sorry. I had to put my beloved cocker Iggy down at 16 yrs in April of 2006. It's heartwrenching. All I could do was tell myself he was no longer in pain/confusion as he had congestive heart failure and dementia was beginning to set in. His urn is on our mantle and my 3 1/2 y/o still talks about 'My dog Iggy'. I firmly believe that Iggy is our guardian angel.

Congrats to you and your family, Lydia on your DVC purchase!!!

WooHoo to Debbie!!!! My one week mark seems like an eternity away! Can't wait to hear about your trip!

Kara - I followed the BSIL Photopass debacle. What a cow. What she did is vindictive....can't be explained by cluelessness which I bet is her excuse.

Congrats to Lorrie on her beach trip!

Hey y'all to everyone else! I've been working with Ben and Em on their recent issues and doing some extra work on a movie that's filming here. I am exhausted from staying up all night and sitting in stadium bleachers acting like a crowd member for 12+ hours. This 39 y/o booty cannot take sitting that long!:lmao:

So I started our PTR....http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2194576

and I would appreciate any feedback or comments. Also, if anyone is interested there is more about me and my fam in it. :)

Take care and be well to all!

Happy Birthday Debbie!!!

Oh, forgot to update y'all on the BSIL situation. Consider it WWIII. I told you I emailed her back and told her to go ahead and delete our photos again b/c I didnt' want her to put them on her cd if she didn't want to. Photopass had readded them for me.

See, it's not like we would order the CD for this trip - it was just a weekender but since they had already ordered it, we thought WTH, might as well put on hers and she can make us a copy.

She got really snotty right away, and went on the attack - she was also ticked that I brought up all the money she owes us, going back to May of 2008 for the thank you gift we got her parents for the trip. Anyway, I copied Jeff on all emails going back and forth. But basically, she tried to make me look like the bad guy. sorry, all I did was call a spade a spade, or in this case a B a B. I called her out for some really deceitful behavior and she reacted by going on the defensive, changing her story a couple of time, continuing to lie, and then going on the attack. Kinda funny really.

But I told Jeff I am DONE with her. Period. And honestly, I don't really care what his parents have to say about this. I will NOT be involved in anything that she is in. It's been too long that the entire family has chosen to walk on egg shells with her. And they want to make ME look like the bad guy for finally calling her out? I don't think so.

OK, new dilemna.

Jeff is really set on a DCL trip. BUT..... if we do 7 day, I want a balcony. When we put Ally to bed early, it would be so nice to sit out there with a glass of wine......

Of course Jeff wants to go budget. So I figured that if we cut out our twice a week eating out, we will save enough to upgrade to the balcony. He's good with that.

Plus, I'm selling on craigslist and ebay again.

Now here's where it gets tricky.

A 7 day DCL cruise is expensive. No way around it. Even in early Sept right in the middle of hurricane season.

So...... thinking about doing a 4 night Carnival cheapo cruise to see if we like cruising. If so, we come back and book DCL for NEXT year and book balcony, take all year to save for it. AND buy going cheapo now, we can get some stuff done in the house. I want to lay river rock in all the beds. The mulch fades out soooo fast in the FL sun. And I want to lay hardwoods instead of this cheap builder grade carpet that is already trashed all on the first floor. And I want to replace the wooden spindles onour staircase with wrought iron.

If we don't do DCL we can do all that which will last forever. And we can STILL do DCL, just not for a year, but we could really do it right if we put it off........

Kara, I can't stay - I have a webinar in a few, but I wanted to give you this link. SpartanGirl did a Carnival with her DH a couple of years ago. I have always been afraid that it is such a party boat, and I've heard because it's affordable there are all kinds of drunk kids everywhere. She liked her cruise! I'm afraid that if you do DCL first, nothing else will compare.

I didn't think Jim would like cruising, because he has to be busy all the time if he's not watching or playing a sport. He loved it - said it was the best thing we ever did. He gets motion sick, and was fine, but he took Meclazine every day.

Anyway, here's Lynn's TR:

I KNOW! I am hopelessly hooked on both shows. I didn't realize the guy from Eleventh hour was a Brit though. Maybe they don't want the character to seem sexy? :confused3:lmao:

First Missy - HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO DEBBIE!:dogdance::flower1::mickeyjum:tigger: :dumbo: :bday:party:

Allergies = all my allergies have really calmed down once I started using Patanase daily. It is a spray that works WONDERS. See if your dr will give you a sample (I had two samples). It works MIRACLES! Hope you feel much better soon! :goodvibes

Mia is two now. She is somethings a 24 mos, some things a 2T. She's finally up to 10th percentile in weight.

Good for you going through your things. I am SOOOOO proud of you Debbie - and once you start selling some of that clutter on CL or Ebay, you will feel so good - for making money off clutter, for decluttering, etc. YOU CAN SO DO THIS!

Kara, Just sock her in the nose! :rotfl2: WTH is wrong with her? :sad2: Seriously... she is a nutcase. YOu called a spade a spade and good for you. THere was no sense in that whole mess - and then to lie and act like you started it was just too much.

Okay, you won't like this - but her are my two cents. I've heard that the ports can be a huge issue to if you like it or not. Some people I've talked to that went value said their ports were like 7am-10am, which wasn't optimal. Then the rest of the day you were in "cruise" mode. I have also heard the dining (group) was frustrating bc you had a firm time. I don't know. A lot of this came from PF -and we all know about her. But seriously - for me, I don't know. Not my thing. I just like more control over my day. The same reason I wouldn't like a tour guide - I like more control. :confused3

I do think a mini-see if we like it cruise is the way to go though. That would be your best bet.

:rotfl::rotfl: behind all the good old British reserve lie hearts full of passion you know - what do you think we all get up to during the typical wet summers......;) But yes - that smouldering hunk is definitely a Brit - from London.. and he's single - apparently:rolleyes1

Oh, and for Erin- he was also in Middlemarch on tv over here. He reads Ian Fleming books (James Bond) on Audio CD over here too... And films ... mmmmm A Knight's Tale, and that wonderful ( not....) epic Dark City (I will never get those 2 wasted hours back!!) and other such rubbish films - Helen of Troy anyone!! He plays a baddie of course - in true Hollywood tradition, the Brit is ALWAYS the baddie - I guess that's why he had to put on the US accent for Eleventh Hour..... You girls like Zac and the Jonas bros - I like my men to be grown ups.... ok...:p

I know, I think I'm the only USer on this thread that thinks Hugh Laurie is hot. :rotfl2: But the guy from Eleventh Hour just stumps me. I NEVER would have thought he wasn't from the US - then the same was of Hugh. The first time I heard him at an awards event, I was like WTH? :lmao: Why in the world would they make him drop the accent?

I don't know. :confused3 But I'm with you Tessa. :faint: I like some age on my men.

And they're both a little old for my liking .. don't like em too young or too old hahaha perhaps that's why i'm single, too picky :rotfl2:
