Lorrie - I'm soooo sorry about what you're cousin is going through. How horrible! Didn't the work place have a first aid kit? God, I would imagine in a business like food service, there would have been some game plan in place in case of an accident. That's just all sooo sad. I'll keep him in my prayers.

Still haven't finalized any cake plans. I really need to get my act together. I haven't even taken out summer clothes yet. Here's hoping we NEED them. Florida better warm up significantly over this next week!

Sinus infections are no fun! Take care of yourself! If you don't do the Netipot, you should try. There are premixed things, or you can do 8 oz of warm water, 1/2 tsp of kosher salt or sea salt and 1/2 tsp of baking soda. I get the best results out of that!

Well Cammie - my DSIL just got back from a week at Ft Meyers. I think the further south you go, the warmer it is. She said it was in the 80's and beautiful the whole visit. That was the same time Kara reported frostbite. Since Orlando is in the middle, I'm hoping that means absolutely beautiful weather for you and Lauren. Is Amanda staying with her dad while you are gone? Does he have a lot of stuff on hand for her, or is that an additional packing job for you?

As for the place, ever seen Sweet Home Alabama, or any of those shows that look like the deep south maybe 50 years ago? Well, sadly, there are still very much places like that. Sometime I need to take pics for you all when I visit my dad. Seriously, one I remember was "Chow Wagon". Think of an oversized shed you could buy at Home Depot. All it takes is a shed and a business license, and a griddle/fyer and you are in business. One school for each level for the COUNTY, that sort of thing. I think that probably gives you a good idea of what that place was like.

Well, I have my sinus program appt for next monday - should take 4 hours. No meds 5 days prior. LOVELY. I will be a mess by then. Think about it - presently I take singulair & 4 musinexD's daily. If I skip a dose, man I notice it!

I logged on to ask about how long do you stand in line to meet the princesses? With Nicolas, we never did those, but they always had the longest lines by far!

I was thinking that I might plan on doing those with the Princess while the boys do some rides.

Lorrie - the line in Nov for the princesses was about 15 minutes, and that's because the line for the fairies was an hour and a half!!!!!

No meds before your procedure will be good! They will be able to see you at your worst and hopefully find the problme!

Debbie - the netipot is awesome!!! I have used it for allergies and it's amazing - I follow it up with the Zycam allergy relief menthol lyptus which refreshes me after the gunk coming out of my nose. I know - tmi!

Cammie - 3/4 of FL is under freeze warnings this week - the crops are all in danger, it's terrible! My bud in Orlando said the highs were in the 40's yesterday too. But the sun feels so good. It's only in the 40's here right now, but I went out in only a sweatshirt with the dog and I was fine. But again, next week we're warming up, so you'll be fine!

Lorrie - I'm not for frivolous law suits, but I think your cousin has a legitimate case. Not just for his medical bills, but punitivie damages in this case. So sad! But glad he's doing well after the surgery. Is it just his feet or did it extend far up his legs?

Mom is doing great. She's in a little pain this morning, but nothing too severe. I still can't believe she did this surgery with just a spinal! She said she could hear them hammering!!! Gross!

You guys are the bomb! I'm leading the photo contest right now! I kinda like that site because it is new - and there are a lot of DISers over there, too.

I agree - a lawsuit is in order. He may need extra rehab, and there will probably be things insurance doesn't cover. That idiot should not be supervising anyone!

Lorrie, I agree with Kara - we don't use DDP for breakfast, because the menu price is alot cheaper than dinner, so we use our TS for nice dinners. I am doing the Tonga Toast OOP this time.

With my niece and nephew, we did Donald's Breakfastsaurus in AK - had CS the rest of the day I didn't mind since it was a character meal. We did dinner with Cindy at 1900 Park Fare, and we had dinner scheduled at CP, but it rained so hard and we were so soaked, we just went back to the room and had pizza.

With my grandkids, we just did Goofy's kitchen, which is like CM. After I saw how much Londynn liked Chip N Dale, I was wishing we had done the Chip N Dale breakfast they have at Grand Californian.

Cammie- Did you see that cake with the 2 tiers that looked like a wedding cake? she said that was a mini cake and she went to the BW bakery and ordered it. She said the top tier was about the size of a large cupcake. Or are you having dinner at the GF anywhere? I forget your planned meals. They have a mini castle cake that is adorable and small enough for the 2 of you to share?

I'm about to get my kids. Three days of fighting now. I can't stand it!!!!!

We're getting out of the house today to see if a trip to the store and to get a haircut will help them out a bit.

Mia has learned (from her Daddy) that if she gets that nasally whine going, it is annoying enough that what she wants done will happen just to hush her. I'm so tired of it. I try to ignore it, but it is like bamboo under the fingernails, I tell ya!!!!
