Debbie, Here's my sentimental take on it - sell the s*** and move on! :lmao: Seriously, it feels a LOT better to be holding a cool $100 than to have Ally's Power Wheels jeep sitting in the garage, kwim? ;)

Lorrie, do NOT answer your cell phone when she calls. Seriously. For some reason you just do not get good reception in Disney. :confused3 I hate it when that happens.... ;)

I suck at painting. I am a great trimmer - I don't tape anything - just use an angled brush.... but I suck at rolling. I think I push too hard and roll just as much OFF as I roll on. so it will be two coats.... crap!

You and I would make a good painting team then. I do well at rolling, but suck at trimming. Are you rolling in sorta a Vish pattern? Definately don't push too hard. The paint will get all goopy - plus you'll use a lot too.

As for the whole thing, I've chilled out. You know, I'm looking foward to meeting Kara - and look how depressed I am about this. It just is what it is -we'll just meet up that DAY and depending on how things go - Mia may or may not need a really early nap :rotfl: The great thing is that most of our ADRs are sold out. :woohoo:

Carlos commented it has been forever since he has seen me in a skirt. Honestly, I think he is very right.

what about this one? Is the pattern too much? It is between this and a solid brown one.

Well, if you like the brown one best DO NOT TELL ME! :lmao:
I ordered the blue one and a white polo to go with it. I figure it is a dress, yet still casual enough to not feel stuffy.

Until he brought it up, I really didn't notice but I haven't worn a dress since I quit work.

yikes!! how many days will she be there in addition to the AK day?
seven. We only overlap on the night we get in (- which is the night I get to meet Kara and see BSIL! :rotfl2: ) our first full day, and they fly out Nicolas' birthday night at 7 pm.

Brown.... j/k - I actually liked the blue better!

twirp!

:rotfl2:

Okay - Kara, you are a good one for this one. Will the kids revolt if I do:

Sun - AK (maybe Epcot PM if we feel like it)
Mon - HS (DTD evening)
Tue - MK (Epcot for dinner)
Wed - Epcot all day
Thur - Epcot all day
Fri - MK all day

Do you think the kids will feel like that is too much Epcot? I figure one day we can do an activity (Soarin/Test Track & Nemo Seas exibit) and then maybe do half the WS making the kids not feel so - pushed.

I know them both and I do think the Kidcot Stations will be big for them both and I think the passport will be really big for Nicolas.

Origianlly I had planned on doing MK Wed - but then someone said we MUST do Le Cellier - which means we have lunch at EPCOT at 11:35 so it just seems so choppy to stay at MK until 11 and head to EPCOT - KWIM?

That is a lot of Epcot - for Ally no problem, she loves Epcot for some reason. And there are a lot of characters in the WS so maybe that's why she likes it - Sleeping Beauty and Belle in France, Snow White and Dopey in Germany, Aladdin and Jasmine in Morocco, Mulan and Mushu in China, Pooh character and Mary Poppins and Alice in England, Donald in Mexico..... so that should break up the monotony for them? And if you get a lot done your first Epcot day, go somewhere else your second day!

Kara, I'm honestly wondering if it won't end up being one of our favorites too.

But seriously, I know I ask you guys a lot of questions, but sometimes I sware I can not see the forest for the trees!

I wouldn't have ever thought about not being at EPCOT that morning since we have that princess breakfast - but you know what - you are right. No reason we couldn't eat and then decide to move on after our 8:35 bfast to another park if it just isn't doing it for us - getting to MK or DHS would be really easy after all.

Kara - again, thanks! :flower3:

A skirt?! What's that? LOL! :rofl I haven't worn one in a long time outside of the major church holidays.

What actually shocked me the most was #1 - he noticed, and #2, he missed it. I guess he pays more attention than I give him credit for. :confused3

You and me both, sista! Actually, last summer I wore a sun dress one night. One night out of how many???

:rotfl2: :lmao: at least I'm not the only one.

Nah, he wants something..... :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Yay, Jillian is live posting!!!! She's at CBR, right? I hate they are having room issues!!! :sad1:

Hi! Checking in! I had a busy day yesterday - I had the kids until 2pm, then had a booth at a cooking show - Taste of Home - I thought it was local, but they have a national magazine and everything! It was lots of fun! I bought tickets for Jim and I so we could eat and get the goodie bag and enter the drawing. The cook was kind of boring - no Rachel Ray!:rotfl2: So Jim left early. I got 3 magazine type cookbooks in my bag, so we'll see if I make any of them - I just ordered a Pampered Chef cookbook, too! I never seem to have what I need when its time to make something. I really need to plan ahead. Mark and Jim do the grocery shopping, so its a toss up what we might have!

Funny about our booth! They gave everyone a drawing card that had to be validated by each booth in order to enter, so EVERYONE had to stop by - all 700 of them!!!! We got to talk to people and ask them to enter our drawing, put some of the new hand cream on them - pretty cool!

What was funny - I had a display platter with carrots, Strawberry and Kiwi because those are the ingredients in the new lotions! Well, because there was food all around the room just out there for the taking, people kept coming up and taking strawberries off the platter - I had to keep saying, "No, that hasn't been washed!:scared1: " I put a sign up that said Display Only, and still a guy came and begged to eat a carrot, and another one came back twice to ask for a kiwi! I gave him one the 2nd time, and he came back to thank me:confused3 I hadn't been to this event before, and didn't know what to expect - people are funny! When I was packing up, a lady came by to ask for my fruit and vetables:confused: My friend Teresa said, "she's taking these home to her grandbabies! The response, "oh, smart lady!" :confused3 I think they don't realize it is a home based business - probably thought I was an employee?

The kids didn't go to school today - I'm fighting a cold, so I'm lounging in bed this morning. Plus there is so much crap piled out in the main part of the house, I just need to stay back here and not look. I guess I'll go do the dishes from last night - I wasn't here - and at least clear a path before my mom comes over.

Tammie - I love Taste of Home! We used to get the magazine from inlaws every year for Christmas, then they just started ordering us the book with all the recipes from that year. I use it a lot still and I have all the magazines hole punched and in a bunch of big binders....

Love that people were trying to swipe your fruit!!! :rotfl2:

Just got the living room put back together and rearranged the furniture and some of the stuff on the wall. I really like it now! I put a slipcover on the love seat, just to see if I would like it. I'm leaving it on for Jeff to see, but JCP doesn't stock the matching sofa cover so I have to take it back anyway. Just trying to decide if I want to get some more or not. I may just get new throw pillows for the existing furniture to try to "change" the color. It's all sage green with burgundy and gold run through it. I think if I get gold pillows, it will take away from the burgundy, since I've got more red accents in the house now.

Kara - you are a decorating queen! Please post pics when you are done!:thumbsup2

Debbie, have you seen that show Clean Sweep? People really do get attached to stuff. If you can take a step back and think about why you're attached to each thing, you can think of something that you have like a picture or a letter that is more meaningful and part with it. Sometimes its about something you hoped to do, and you've actually changed by now.

MAKE SOME MONEY, SISTA!:yay:

Jillian! Hope you're having a blast!!! I'm looking forward to the pics!

Lorrie, I like Laura's answer about your friend. Maybe your phone doesn't work:confused3 Or, maybe meeting in Dinoland and letting the kids play works. After all you DO have your ADRs that are too hard to change, right?
Now your Mother is coming too? Maybe you should change your dates and not tell anyone!:rolleyes1 For us, when people tell us they're coming, they never do, so we just go along with it, but don't help them book or anything and it goes away!

Well, I'd better get going - I have some errands to run and some calls to make - great day to get it done!:thumbsup2 Have a great "hump day!" (I know you're out there Tessa!:) )

That story is so funny Tammie. Why would people "have to have" your fruit! LOL! That was good that they HAD to visit your booth though! VERY good marketing!

Kara...glad you are getting your **** done. You make me feel bad in all your posts! LOL! I think even though we are A LOT alike I can definitely tell you where we are definitely not alike!

Yeah for Jillian! I wish I was there. At least it is sunny today though. And tomorrow will be 60!

I will get to this clutter/selling issue! You guys can harass me into it as much as you want because it MUST HAPPEN!

Thanks to your post Lorrie..I went and made myself a X drink last night! Jeez it went right to my head too! It was yummy and worth it!
My big thing these days (when it's warm) are skorts. They look a little dressier than shorts but feel like shorts.

Hi Laura...you never answered me about the Daisy pedals. Did you guys end up not doing that or you did? We only have 3 pedals.

Hey, we haven't talked about the Bachelor here!

Cammie....where are you and are you OK? You are sick aren't you? I hope not!

Tammie - I hope that you are feeling better! That just sounds like a mess with all the people hounding you for food! :sad2: Good for you on the magazines though!

Kara - I agree with Tammie - I want to see pictures!

Debbie - I agree with Tammie - the Clean Sweep show is good. There was also one that came on here called "NEAT". I really loved that show. But they seperated into piles and then narrowed the piles again. I think it is a good concept. After watching several, I got rid of all of Nicolas' baby clothing. I just kept two small bins. I am going to have a quilt made out of them. Now will he care - nope, but I will.

I've even been trying to talk Carlos into letting me get rid of my wedding gown. What do I need that for? :confused3
