It's 85 here today YEAH!!!

Now, that's a wee bit hot for me!!! Only 54 here today (and yukky - wet windy English weather!! - we can muse on the subject forever you know!!) -but that's a wee bit cold - never happy - 75 ish is about my favourite!!

I do all of the things mentioned.

I also cross-pack! there are 5 of us which = 5 suitcases. in case 1 of them gets lost or delayed by the airlines, no problem because I put at least 2 outfits for each person in each suitcase. that way, your luggage has 2 days to find you and you will still have clean underwear!
I am also a zip-loc packer.....undies, socks, hair accessories, shorts, shirt and earrings all go in, air sucked out and zip loc tossed in suitcase (I need to have my kids look like they DIDN'T dress themselves!--it makes for nicer photos)

many tease me and my ways but I know that they probably use our strategic planning in secret.....they just don't admit it!

What a terrific idea, cross packing!! I love it! Seriously I generally overpack by a lot, you can always tell me in the airport, I am the one who can't move her arms cause I am so loaded down with bags. But this is a great idea!

I need to get some of those ziploc bags too, that would be good, as my dh has already told me we are not taking everything along but the kitchen sink. He is trying to sell me on one or 2 pairs of jeans each, and 3 shirts + a sweater or jacket each (as we are going in Dec, I insisted we need SOMETHING with sleeves). He wants to only check one suitcase.

I am going to forward him Debbie's list, and then maybe he will realize that he is WRONG, so wrong...It could work, right? Though mostly everything I say he has decided I am nuts, just cause I am collecting my LGMHPC and getting everyone a new pair of crocs, etc... we need good comfy shoes, that's what I told him, but he is one of those "we'll just get what we need while we are there" sorts. Doesn't he realize how much more expensive that thought is??

Has anyone shopped Circle of Friends at Gymboree? I did..I tried so hard to resist, but I ordered online yesterday.

Debbie..I went to WDW in Nov last year. The weather was great! I can't tolerate the heat at all, so it was perfect for me. I think its was in the 70s during the day and 50s at night. We also had a day or two in the 80s. You will have a great time. We loved MVMCP and it the Christmas decorations were beautiful.

Okay - I'm back from Grandma-land, almost! Hi everyone! sorry I have been MIA. Thanks, Pam for updating everyone. Thank you so much for all of your good wishes. Baby Mason was born last Friday - so you know - we spent so much time at the hospital, then having my DILs family in, then my DS sold his house and needed to replace the furnace, so they moved in here with the baby I have been having alot of fun holding him and taking pics, etc.

**I have to confess, I didn't post, cuz I didn't have time to download the pics I will soon, I promise!***

He is of course beautiful and brilliant and all of that stuff is gaining weight fast and mama is doing well!

Pam, glad you are doing better after your dental adventures.

One last thing - I am a total zip locker! How could you be a good planner without them???? It does get me in trouble, though. You can fit so much in that your suitcase weighs more than the alloted 50lbs!

What an exciting time for you! Congrats again!!!!

We will be at AKL on June 3rd and 4th! I am excited but nervous! We plan on getting there early on the 3rd, using the AKL resort all day and then MK all day on the 4th (dinner at CRT !!!) and then utilizing the resort again before we drive back to Naples. I have heard rumblings of construction noise and we only have a standard view so I am hoping not to be disappointed.

I did it! Hope everyone had a happy Mother's Day! We had a wonderful day - my boys came and made breakfast for all us moms - my mom, my MIL, and our DILS. My DH got me a new digital camera that is small enough to fit in the tiny purse I wear at the parks!!!! Our DS Ryan brought his brand new college degree over for us to see - great Mother's Day! He did not walk at his graduation. His wife, Dana got hers in March and will walk in June. We will have a reception for both of them then - 3 days after we get back from the world But we are very proud!

We visited my "other" MIL, and went out to lunch and I have been relaxing all day - have to get back to it tomorrow!

We already had mother's day here in the UK - March 18th, I tried to get away with saying there was another one... but since I was already spoiled with breakfast in bed once this year , I didn't get away with it... hey ho - I think we should get Mother's day of every country we visit!!

Anyone got any tips for me on which of the MANY books to buy about Florida/Disney/(shhhhh Universal) one for an OBSESSIVE planner of course.... I'm not to good with the ones which start "Hey go with the flow and enjoy yourself..."
