Cammie - I HAVE to have your jumping holiday Mickey! I love it! Would you share? or tell me where you got it? Please? I would love to find a jumping turkey!

We usually go to WDW every 2 years. I am going to secretly stash away money w/out DH knowing (he wouldn't have a clue anyway, I do the finances!) and plan a trip. I just have to! The planning is what keeps us going!

Pam - I would love to pass this on to you; I just don't know how! I'm embarassed to admit that someone "frosted, snowed, and ho,ho,ho'd me (have it in a pm) and I couldn't figure out how to paste it in my siggy. I have NO IDEA how I got the bouncing Santa mickeyhead!:lmao: If you can give me the instructions, I'll gladly pm the link to anyone who wants it! (I am sooooo pathetic with all things computer-related!)

I just right clicked on the snowman, left clicked on copy, opened my siggie, and right clicked in the edit part, and left clicked on paste and it was there. I think you can do that with all of the little characters, might just take a little playing around with placement. Have Fun! :3dglasses

Thanks Tammie. As you can see, I did get the turkey in my sig., but not the conventional way. For some reason, I clicked on the turkey, right clicked, but the copy/paste option wasn't coming up. I had seen instructions that you had to click on properties; then go to your sig.page and click on the yellow "mountain"icon and insert that way - that's what I did!:thumbsup2

Anyway, my girls are with their dad this weekend and I'm off to the gym now. We're expecting a big Nor'easter today - lots of rain and wind, all day! Was hoping to get out this afternoon to start some xmas shopping but I don't want to be driving around in the mess. So I'll probably be in the house all day - fridge is stocked with goodies; have a recipe for a pumpkin pie martini that I might dry; and I have my Tivo'd shows from the week to catch up on. Hopefully my power won't go out!:scared1: Anyway, I'll probably be surfing the Disboards alot too. :)

Hope you all have a good Saturday!

This cartoon pretty much sums it all up for me.......

Pbharris (Pam) What are you up too?
TinkLvr (Maureen) I know your back.....A little TR before I go maybe........
DisneyOhana (Lisa) I hope you are OK. Haven't heard from you in a while. Plus, I emailed you and PM'd you to ask for your address if that's OK.
Magicfor2 (Tammie)Thanks for the updated on everything in your life. Super cool that you have two tickers!!! OT But I think I may order some products from you. The bags under my eyes are getting bad! You have something for that, right?
Ahibird (keahi) You haven't deserted us have you???
tttessa (tessa)I figured so much. I just need to check with you now to see when you think WDW will be crowded besides the obvious. I think pretty soon there's not going to be a slow time there. So much for our economy going down the tubes. It doesn't seem to be hurting Disney!
Lovin Life ( Pam2) I always say the only way to get over the depression of one trip ending is to start planning the next!
TiDoubleGerr (Kristin) I hope you are doing OK and feeling better. I hope you have some answers by now!:wizard:
Camster0307Have a fun relaxing weekend. Stay safe in the storm! Thanks for the bouncing smileys. I will do them when I return and have to take off my ticker:guilty:
Sewer How are you buddy! Driving all over the place for wrestling I assume!
Becky2005 Still visiting us? I feel bad I never get a chance to post at the Chicago thread anymore. Nice gang over there but I had to set some personal limits for myself or I would never leave the computer. I am the procrastinating QUEEN!

Welcome Stephanie. Thanks for stopping by!

Hiya all,

we had a few fireworks and hand held sparklers in the garden last night for our Guy Fawkes night (not till 5th Nov - but Saturday was best!!). Didn't have many, and didn't have big ones cos our garden is only 25 x30 feet and also houses a climbing frame, slide and ornamental raised fish pond!!! we are EXPERTS at space management!

Love the cartoon Debbie!! Disney Florida(and Paris) will be busy with Brits:
October Half Term - third week usually but also some folks take their kids the week either side.
Xmas - not so much as it is still a big at-home family occasion over here.
February half term - 3rd week again

And then Easter - our "Easter break" this year is 5th - 21st - and all the flights from the UK to Orlando are already booked solid!!! We shall be there then (6th to 17th) You will not be able to move for Brits those 2 weeks I think - at least we "queue" nicely (a national pastime!!)

Then the next biggie is spring bank holiday break - last week of May - which is usually after our primary school test season has passed, so it will be busy with Brits who often take 2 or 3 weeks then!!! (even though they have to take the kids out of school)

Then summer break - 20th July till start Sept - though it is quite often too hot for us then!!!

Cheers,
Tessa

Hope you are having fun with your parties!

Hi Everyone,
I am getting so.... excited about our trip!!!:cool1: When I am not stressing over something I am bouncing off the walls. Thanks Tessa for the holiday info! We are nervous it is going to be crowded when we are there this time because my Mom has been calling for a month now to add one more day to our package and they keep telling her that GF is booked!!! That is insane to me!!! Well, today she called and they let her change the room only to a package (after some fancy wheeling and dealing). I am so excited! We will now get the dining package and hoppers for that day and they will actually be crediting my card $50.00! You see we had the DP for Saturday(10th) to Thursday(15th) but wanted to add the Friday(9th) before. We had GF booked as a room only for that night because we wanted DD to wake up in GF on her birthday and we have CRT at 8AM. We are actually staying at *** Wednesday and Thursday (no package..... Does that all make sense??? Thank God we got it! We weren't going to do any parks until Saturday and now we can go Friday too for $50.00 less mula!!!! AND we can eat more!!!!
Thanks for listening!

Debbie - Ok, my head is spinning! But, what I got out of that is you're getting an extra day in the park? If so -- you go girl!:woohoo:

What are the rest of your plans there for the week? Things you're really looking forward to?; other ADRs? I noticed this is your first MVMCP - you're going to love it! Christmas time at WDW is truly my fav.time to be there! I really can't imagine it will be too crowded - I've always found Nov. to be one of the best times to go!

As for us, we're DVCers - own at the BWV so that's where we stay every year.(got the DVC in my divorce settlement; was not about to share that!)
My girls & I just LOVE Epcot - we go quite a few nights. Have our traditional first night dinner in Mexico; and our last night dinner at LeCellier. Doing the xmas party on the 27th; have ADRs at CRT;Biergarten;1900PF;Fulton's; and CP. Ok - sorry to be rambling on, I'm just getting really excited! Bear with me, I may ramble a bit more as I get closer to departure date!
Cammie

Hi Debbie! Your plans sound great! I had to laugh at myself! I had planned and re-planned my ADRs and park days so much, and we went to Hoop-De-Do on Thursday - so... when I saw your HDD on Tuesday, my first thought was, "that's not right, HDD is on Thursdays!" :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Gotta get a life besides the Disboards!!!!!

Worry of the day...
Is our luggage going to all fit in the transportation on Wednesday!????

Sun. - MK;lunch at CRT; off to EMH at MGM & Osbourne Lights
Mon. - hopefully a pool day; then DTD & dinner at Fulton's

I'm actually worried a little about the last day. Hoping Amanda does ok leaving so late, but Lauren talked me into leaving late because we're not doing our usual 9-day vacation. We really want to get the most out of our time. Everyone talks about the Hoop-Dee-Doo; never have done it in the nine years we've been going. How is it? I'm always looking to try something new!

Sounds great! Too bad our paths won't be crossing:guilty:
HDR is tons of fun but we haven't been there since I was a kid. My Dad actually got picked to participate back then.

I know. You, me, and Pam are days apart. Great minds think alike!

Am curious to hear your thoughts about HDD. Reservations usually need to be made about a year in advance, don't they? Did your mom take care of that? If that's so, you're lucky. I'm trying to get my family to commit to a trip in '08. I have a sister with 3 kids, around the same age as mine; they love Disney also but do everything last minute. :confused3 By the end of this year, I would really like to have my next year's trip booked - looking for sometime in Nov. again. I mean, obviously, when this trip's over, I'll need to have something to do, right?

You can only book it 6 months out like the other ADRs if I am correct. My Mom does do it though. I am VERY lucky!!!

Cammie, we went this past June for the first time. The kids had alot of fun! The jokes are extremely corny, but it's fun to pretend! The food was country fried chicken, mashed potatoes, corn, beans - country food. They come around and slam pots of food on the table and act obnoxious about it as part of the fun! It was crazy and noisy, which the kids loved. My nephew laughed so hard he fell off his chair! Here are a couple of pics - just cuz you asked:
