Lisa, Glad to hear your nephew did Ok (except for the throwing up part). I am telling you sickness is running rampid everywhere!! I'm sorry to hear a bout your grandma. I hope she does Ok. How old is she? Pnemonia can be pretty hard on elderly people, but I think it depends on their age and overall health. Hope she recovers soon. My DD's hives are almost totally gone. The Zyrtec took care of it. Thankfully! Phew!

Thanks. My grandmother will be 80 this July. She has congestive heart disease and her heart became irregular for some time. Now it is back to normal but her condition hasn't improved. Glad to hear that your DD's hives are gone.

Hi Buddies,
I feel like I live in an infirmary! The kids are sick and DH has been really sick. After missing 5 days of work for federal jury duty now he’s been off another two. I finally took the kids into the doctor today because I was worried about DSs breathing. Oh well…just another rough respiratory virus I guess. If I see another snot though I am going to puke! I can’t wait until this passes.

I have been having a lot of trouble getting on the DIS the past couple days. It has been pretty annoying. I hope they can fix all the problems and be better in the end.

Lisa, I was deathly allergic to guinea pigs! I mean, asthma attack bad!
I hope everything gets better for your Grandma. Glad your nephew is good! Good to see you back.

Sorry I have not been around and I didn't have time to do a lot of catching up. I did get tickets to HSM on Ice...dd loves HSM, she is going to be so excited.

DD also had to be put under for dental work. She was terified of the dentist. she was 5 when they put her under, but now 2 years later she goes and does just fine without it. It helped her become comfortable, becuase it didn't hurt when they worked on her the first couple of times.

I am trying to wean ds now, and that means that I can't sit down, because everytime I do he tries to nurse. So I will probably won't be around much until I can get him weaned!

We have 25 days until our trip!!

I am not thrilled with the ADRs I made, but think I am just worrying too much over it. I do think we will cancel the Fantasmic Dinner @ Brown Derby. After looking at the menu I doubt the kids would be happy with it.

DD5 is almost packed. She needs 2 bathing suits and water sgoes and I think she is done. That is IF I can keep her OUT of the suitcase LOL She wants to wear her new clothes desperately LOL! We used the gymbucks yesterday!! (I have probably only bought things there 5x since in 18yrs, so I am blaming you guys LOL)

I am on that rotten quest to find a decent bathing suit for less than a fortune. for myself. I did finally order the Overland Donner bag. I hope its the one I want. This week its buying clothes for DS (13), He needs shorts, bathing suit & sneakers. I think we will be off to Old Navy for them.

We are still having problems with the school letting us take DS out for the 8 days. I understand that they have rules, but I am still the parent. Vacation at other times of the year are just not possible. There needs to be some consideration. I'll keep you posted.

I hope everyone is getting over the sickies. It took us almost a month to get over it.

I thought we had missed the sick boat and were in the clear, well guess what? I was wrong. DS woke up with a bad ruuny nose this morning, and I woke up with a sore throat! NONONO!

PAM- We are staying at VWL for our trip but had really wanted to stay at the BCV, are we going to be disappointed with VWL? We really loved the BC last year, but we really want to try a villa, because we are thinking of buying in, and there was nothing available at the BC ! Let me know what you think.

(Sorry TMI). All I did yesterday was Clorox wipe down the whole house and after I go to the grocery store today I'll be doing that again! Plus, I keep doing laundry and washing all the bedding and stuff over and over! Oh...I am so grossed out and praying I don't get it!

Sorry it has hit you Jacylyn. Hopefully it is just a cold and you get through it fast!

tea4sanity...... I am not familiar with the places you are staying but I think everyone is hapy with all the WDW resorts and stays. I hate shopping for bathings suits! I have been getting lucky at JC Penny's though. At least there is a chance of getting a coupon to use there too.

I am officially addicted to crocs!!!! I want them in every color!!! My DD will be getting another pair in her Easter basket. I keep going to Shoebuy.com plus other sights to see what I will be getting next! Thank goodness I have been using store credits and gift cards for the last 5 pairs (that's for our whole family) so I don't even feel that guilty...yet! Can you believe I actually bought DD red ones because they go with all DDs Gymboree outfits from this last line! I am bad!!!!

It was wonderful today. I hope you all enjoyed it. I am hoping everyone in my house is on the mend. We went outside for some long needed fresh air!!!!

Side note...I feel so bad I told my Dear Cousin to post on the DIS (start a thread) and for her first post she stated her son would be turning two on the first day of their trip(thinking this was the age to begin paying). She asked if it would be terrible to not pay yet and the poor girl totally got flamed! She was so sad. I feel so bad and I still can't believe people actually will yell at people on these threads! It surprises me everytime. Instead of telling her that the age to begining paying is actually three they told her she had no morals and that her son would obviously grow up to be a diliquent! YIKE! She deleted the post best she could to put a stop to the madness!

She DOES use a regular cup but before bed and when she needs to wind down she wants "milk in a sippy cup" and her blanket of course.
Is DS feeling better? That' can't help!

My grandma is still in the hospital but at least she hasn't gotten worse. We visited Sat. & Sun. Today we went to the zoo. I am so.... tired. It took 2 hrs to get there and normally takes 45min. It is spring break for a lot of schools, I should have known better than to go on the first nice day and spring break.
Last week I broke down and bought two shirts and rainboots for DD from Gymboree. They were all on sale for 40% off. Yipee!
Tammie - My DH enjoys getting stuff for DD, too. He never would have cared about helping me shop for other kid's birthdays. Just wait until you guys take her shopping. Me and DD have so much fun. She picked one of the shirts out at gymboree. She loves clothes, shoes, & accessories now and she is only 2.
Debbie - We loved it when we rented a car at Disney but we did like the monorail resort better. If you could rent points we really loved the YC & the BC. I don't know all about renting points though. So we are once again staying at CBR. I know my DD will love it though so I am okay w/not having the luxuries. I AM so excited about my upcoming trip. Hope to see you guys soon.
Oh, sorry about your cousin's thread ques. I think people are so hipocritical anyway. All those people have such great morals, give me a break. They make people on the DIS cry. Is that so nice? Well, I'm sure she'll be okay once she changes her username. JK.

Hey, Hey, Hey, everybody!!! I saw a guy with a navy blue bucket hat on yesterday and I swear it was JJ (aka Dynomite!) from Good Times.

Anyway.

Illnesses be gone! My goodness the Jet Stream must be blowing all these viruses around. Those going to WDW soon better whip out the paper booties, face masks, Purell and Lysol. We finally got through whatever it was here (little coughs still hanging around though). I hope everyone feels better or will soon. Two weeks before we go on vacation I quarantine the family...no chuck e. cheese, no mall play areas, I get groceries alone, etc. It's works the last 4 times we went and I am hoping for a 5th.

Lisa....it's good your Grandma is holding her own, it's better then getting worse. I say a few prayers for her.


Jaclyn: Beach Club/Beach Club Villas.....I love it. It's my favorite resort (well, I haven't stay at any monorail resorts yet, but I can use my points to do that in the future). Beach Club Villas is our home resort. We also own at VWL, but I am on the wait list to add more points at BCV and then I am selling the VWL so all of my points can be at BCV. This will be the first year we stay at VWL. I love the WL it's pretty, ducks and their babies swim in the pool sometimes and you can ride the boat directly to MK. I am not too crazy about the decor in the rooms. It keeps with the theme of the resort, but I like lighter colors, but it's no big deal. Nothing compares to Stormalong Bay..so you might be disappointed by that. A suggestion...go to the DVC boards here and go to the DVC rent/trade board...you can post to see if anyone would rent you a villa for the dates you want. Some people might already have a reservation that they want to rent out, but can't go. A lot of people do it. I like the space in the villas (1 and 2 bedrooms) and the washer/dryer. If you end up at VWL let me know how you like it..we'll be there in late June. After that stay we would have stayed at every DVC property except Vero Beach.

Tammie: Ohhhh I have a feeling that little Granddaughter of yours is going to be the apple of your DH's eye! Take it from someone with a TON of girls in her family (mom had a sister, my mom had 3 girls, my 1 sister had 3 girls and is a grandma to a girl, My other sister had 2 girls and a boy-thank goodness his Dad is Col. in the Marines and he needed man blood around, I had 2 girls, My DH has 3 older sisters, and so on) Nothng melts a mans heart more than a cute little girl. I have a fqavor to ask of you..I'm PMing you.

(DH over shoulder...just kidding) While your on your Croc kick (no pun intended) I am coming off my Gymboree kick and steering towards a DSW kick. I'm not a big shoe person, but I bought these cute sandals and now I must have a pair in Brown! I'm over my Dooney & Bourke phase (6 of those were enough), done with Longaberger Baskets, still collecting LLadros...guess who everyone invites to their Home Parties Have you checked out www.jibbitz.com yet? I just got my Disney Jibbitz the other day..OH! and have you seen the cute Croc sandals on the Croc website?. (Sorry..I am feeding your croc habit)

Is it really simple to rent points? I love the YC & BC but they are so... expensive.
