Happy St. Patrick's Day to all! I am going back to bed. Will catch up when better. I'm happy to hear the news, Tammie...it made my day!

I forgot you were sick Pam!! Feel better real soon!:wizard:

DD is sick today with a fever.:sad2:

Sorry to hear that Debbie. This illness is pretty bad this time around. I hope she feels better soon. I got tired of laying in bed.

Hi everyone! Thanks for sharing my excitement! I will definately have to join the Gymboree club!:cloud9:

Sorry to hear you are sick, Pam.
Debbie, I hope your DD is better.

pixiedust: for everyone to be healthy soon!

Tammie - That's so great that now you will have a little girl in the family.

Debbie & Pam - Hope you and your kids are doing okay now.

This Thursday my sister has to put her DS under anaesthesia to fix his teeth. He has at least six cavities that my sister can actually see, but he won't let a dentist near his teeth. I am so nervous. He's only 6 and is a sweet little kid. I just hope everything goes right.

OOH - I'm sure they will do everything to help him feel comfortable and unafraid. I will say a little prayer for him - poor guy.:sad2:

Anyone here have hives? Or their kids have had hives? McKenna now has the hives too. Poor kid. I have to take her to be allergy tested AGAIN in a month. The Dr. said it could be from the Amoxicillin (which she's had 3x before) or they've seen hives show up after infections (i.e. ear infections-which she had). She wanted to go to preschool and the Dr. said it was OK if she went, but I am feeling guilty for letting her go. But she missed all last week and really wanted to go. Thankfully, they are not on her face. Dr. also gave me Zyrtec and Singulair to give her..I guess that gets rid of them, right?

Hi Everyone,
I have been busy buzzing around! The weather has been getting better. It’s chilly today but the sun is shining and it really helps. The kids are sick though so that’s a bummer. It’s the end of it though so we are backing to running around.

TinkLvr(Maureen) Where are you?
Pbharris(Pam) How are you feeling? Sorry about DDs hives. I get hives on occasion. They should pass quickly. It sounds like in your case it's medication. I never took allergy medicine for my hives just for my allergies in general.
I felt guilty sending DD to preschool today because she is still caughing but if I kept her home everytime she had this cough she would NEVER be in school! DisneyOhana (Lisa) How’s DD doing with her sleep? The time change?
Hannasmamma(Jaclyn) Hi!
Magicfor2(Tammie) Hope all is well on your end and I hope all those grandkids are doing good too!
Ahibird (keahi) Aren’t you leaving any minute now???? Can’t wait to hear about your surprise trip!!!
Sewer What’s going on by you? Is it warming up by you too?

Deb..I love your monorail siggy!

I hope the hives do pass quickly. It's 80 here today and I bet the heat makes it worse. The school hasn't called me so I guess she's doing fine. I had hives once and was put on prednisone. I gained 10lbs that week!

I know what you mean about feeling guilty and preschool. We can't take her until a fever is gone for 24 hrs, but they say nothing else. I feel like DD is getting bombarded with illnesses because it's her first year in preschool.

I haven't seen much of anyone on here this past week or so..just you me, Tammie and Lisa sometimes. Maybe everyone's spring cleaning? Anyway, I hope they come back and keep in touch with us!

Oh and Lisa I hope your Dnephew is OK!!! Sorry about that!

80! That sounds wonderful! I am chilly today! Happy with the sunshine but chilly!

That prednisone is NASTY. I have been on that too.

I know people are MIA but it's probably due to better weather and trips are in the past for now.

I was so.....excited to find that monorail. I found it in someone else's siggie. I took it. Do you think that's OK??? Do you want it?

On another note...I am trying to get my weight back in check. If I don't pay attention I gain weight VERY easily. I tried clothes on at the store and faced those dreaded dressing room mirrors! I didn’t like what I saw. So for the last couple days I have cut down on the carbs. I avoid white carbs. I don’t give up any fruits or vegetables. Boy, does my energy level really rise. It is truly amazing how your eating habits can change how you feel. That along with some more sunlight really does the trick for me.

The Ultimate 10 Walt Disney World is on right now!! I can’t wait to be there again. You guys are lucky those of you going so soon!!!

Hey, I lost the DIS last night. Anyone else???

I just found Ahibird's Ticker and I think she left today!!!!
WOW I hope it went well!

It's not your 40th birthday Deb, but a 20 year celebration of your 20th birthday! :rolleyes1

Pam, I'm sorry about the hives. Yes, the Zyrtec is an antihistamine, which combats allergic reactions, whether they are hay fever, hives, etc. You really need to find out if it is the medication, because the next time her breathing could be compromised - it seems these things get more extreme with every reaction:sad2:

Thanks for the Siggie, Debbie! It makes me feel like somehow "we're getting there" :cool1:

Hope everyone is feeling better. Lisa, hope your nephew is doing well. I lost the DIS last night, too!:sad2:
Wow, Ahibird is on her way :car: Have fun!

A few years ago I developed hives from too much Amoxicillin also, but was given Seldane (kinda' the same as Zyrtec, and Singulair) to quiet it down.

Sewer What’s going on by you? Is it warming up by you too?

It is going to be in the 50's today, and my hostas are starting to peek through the ground, so that has to be a sure sign spring is on the way!:cool1:  :dance3:  :woohoo::banana:

Yesterday my nephew had his teeth done and he is doing great now. But he did get sick from the anesthesia right after he woke up. My grandma has been in the hospital since Tuesday w/what they think is pneumonia. She is in intensive care right now. DD is so stuffed up but it seems like allergies. We had the windows open yesterday and she was giving the guinea pig alfalfa so I don't know which bothered her. Maybe both. DD used to get hives when she touched the guinea pig. I don't let her pet her anymore.
DD is on a better schedule but she is telling me she is tired right now and she just woke up from 12 hours sleep. I hope she isn't getting sick. Well, I will try to get back on later.
