Wait! Did I miss Grey's??? I thought it was on on Sunday! I love that show. I have been down with a bad cold the past couple of days, and Thursday my DIL spent the night cuz her power was out - we were scrapping our Disney Cruise pics!

We finally got our phone fixed after 3 days. No more calls. Deb, I love your story - :lmao: I heard a lady once say that she kept calling the fire dept for 2 weeks, saying, "but it's still smoking." because she thought the firemen were cute:rotfl2:

Okay, I did miss it. I just went to abctv.com and watched it - really good! Now I can sleep:) Good night, all.

Hi everyone! I am still here, just been a little busy. I have to catch up on a few day worth of posts, but I did see your post about Gymboree, Deb. I think I have a Gymboree addiction! I go on the website almost every day. You can get such good deals for great clothes. I have done two online orders in the last week. I got my DD the cutest Valentine outfit, and it was more that 50% off and it was before Valentine's Day! I could just go on and on. My DH is on to my obsession, though, so I may have to send my packages to my sister's house.

It's snowing here, so tomorrow I will have plenty of time to catch up with everyone.

Thank God .....I am not alone!!!!!!!!!!
You DID see there is an extra 20% (last day today) and then if you have a coupon code (which I could PM you) you would get ANOTHER 20% off!!!!
You should see how low that Valentine's stuff is now! I bought almost the whole line for next year!!!!
Right now I have a full cart I am working with...adding...taking out...adding it back.....I can't decide if I should buy more since I already spent too much at the store yesterday!
You know which way it's going to end up!

Hi everyone! Hope you had a great weekend! I looked at the Gymboree site - could get a grandma in trouble ;)

I wanted to send all of my dis friends this link - very important safety message about guarding your identity when you get gas. We don't pump our own gas here, but still some good reminders. http://www.sheriff.org/videos/psa_cartheft.html
I will catch up with you all later!

We had the wonderful ice storm yesterday morning, and boy or boy was that fun to drive in! :scared1: After I had completed my grocery shopping, I e-mailed the guest relations person at WL to ask her about room placement, and volunteered to send her some of our weather in exchange for some of their's. :rotfl2:

Debbie, Pam, & Maureen - I love so many of the clothes they have at Gymboree. I just can't seem to get myself to spend money on too many clothes for DD because her armoire, which is huge and has three drawers and a closet, is totally full. She has so many hand me downs for this age. We don't have as many clothes for 3 and up, so I may become addicted to that store, when they have the gymbucks that is.
Debbie - I am the biggest worry wart of them all. I want to meet up again but am freaking out about driving to Harlem & Irving. I am more nervous about the parking lot. It is not what I am used to. I think the worst all the time, so I see myself not finding the right entrance and not knowing where to turn around and then getting so nervous that I get into an accident. Do you see why I think that I am the biggest worry wart? I don't want to make you come out here but if you don't mind some day we would love to see you guys again. I am hoping to have DH drive me to H&I some day so I can see how it is before I actually do the driving.
Hi to everyone else.:)

I was not nervous. I was doing really well. I did a lot of reading. I took time to consider where to stay. Next thing you know.... its 50 days until we leave. YIKES! This is our first vacation in 10 years.

We are staying at the Fort Wilderness Cabins 4/19 - 26. DH, DD(18) DS (13) DD (5) and ME- Joanne(37). We are driving straight down from NJ and its around 18 hours. Of course all the reading has me worried about traffic, being too tired when we get there etc. DD moved out last week and DH is not speaking to her. Should be an interesting car ride! I am worried about leaving DS(17) home with FIL. I know he will be ok, its just being away that long. DS has school commitments he cannot miss.

Did I make enough ADRs? Did I make the RIGHT ones? What clothes to bring? What am I forgetting? Wht am I gonna do if my foot gives up after walking for 2 days? You get the idea....:rolleyes1

I have read over 30 pages of this thread and then just couldn't anymore LOL. I feel as though I 'know' you ladies already!:yay:

Thanks for the link, Tammie. You're right - it has some great reminders. In fact, I forwarded it on to my friends/family, too....:thanks:

Welcome!
Come here and ask us anything!! Vent any time! We will be here for you.

Deep breaths..deep breathes.... It will all be great!!!
Stay awhile! We're friendly!!!

Lisa...I can easily come out to Yorktown again. Don't sweat it!

Annaliese & Tea4sanity - Welcome!

Tea4sanity - Wow! Your first vac. in 10 years. I hope you guys have a great time. I haven't been to Disney in almost 4 years and this is the first time I am stressed about all the planning. We used to go so often that it was like a second home. We didn't do ADR's and we got into the restaurants we wanted. Now that I have a 2 yr old everything makes me nervous. I really feel for you w/your DD and DH not talking. That alone would be very hard for me. I do remember family trips when I was around 12 & up where I would sit at a different table than my family at McD's because we were fighting. It wasn't the end of the world though. We all love each other so much, it's just getting through those teen years was hard. I hope they work everything out before you guys go.

Debbie - Thanks for being so understanding even when it may be hard to understand. Does that sound silly? Well, anyway, you're a great friend.

Welcome Joanne! Sounds like you have everything planned - now you just need to finish packing and enjoy your trip! Your DS will be ok, and your DH and DD will get some bonding time! One thing we love to do on this thread is vent and plan - you'll fit right in!

Welcome Baby B, I think this is your first post here - if not, I'm sorry I missed it. You are really getting to the countdown. We do DL way more than WDW, being from the west coast. You will have a great time! I was going to tell you to dress warm - the sea breeze is cold at this time of year, but being from WI, you will think it's summer:rotfl2:

18 days!!! IM PANICKING!!!

I've been planning, then backing out, planning then backing out! :sad2: Finally I made up my mind, and will be at WL in July. I ALWAYS wonder of I made the right choices, packed the right clothes etc. But, I try to calm myself down (doesn't always work) because it's supposed to be a vacation!

ok an isssue has come up. I know its just obessing but its nagging at me. I have to have the answer to the travel agent before friday so I guess that's what is bugging me.

I cannot come to a definate answer on the day to leave. We have it booked for 4/26(thurs) but DH has to be at work at 5am on 4/28(sat). He will need to be home in bed by 11pm on 4/27(fri). I am thinking of checking out 4/25 instead. This way we are not in a rush to get home. We can take our time driving and spend a night on the road in a hotel instead of driving straight through. Typical response from dh "whatever you plan will be fine. Don't worry about it" SO NOT HELPFUL THANKS ANYWAY!!

I hate the idea of leaving WDW early but we don't have to leave until dinnertime after enjoying the parks for a last time if we check out 4/25(wed). Checking out 4/26 means we need to leave before 12.

So what do you think? :confused3

I did just buy a bag for DH to carry. Its like a fanny pack but it is a triangle shape and sits on your side. Price was right - under $10! ;) http://www.campmor.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?productId=39224840&memberId=12500226
I also bought sunglasses for dd(5 on sun) that have a velcro strap. She has light eyes and gets headaches from the sun and she won't be able to take them off easily!

Welcome Joanne! I am jealous of everyone planning their WDW trips. I was just there, but I want to go back.

Oh no, I did it again...another Gymboree order! I can't believe how much I got for $120. I can shop in every category except Kid Boy, so I can get so many good deals for next winter/fall.

Lisa..I wish I could be more like you. I have so many kids clothes, but I still can't help myself.

Debbie..I thought I did good resisting an order a few days ago, but I gave in again tonight. My dd has that outfit you bought a few days again..white shirt with sequins/floral capris. She looked so cute in it in WDW. I really like the polka dot stuff, but I waiting for Gymbuck redemption for the newest stuff. The hedgehog stuff for boys is soo cute too. BTW, I had my latest package sent to my sisters house.

Pam...how are you? Did you order anything from Gymboree?

Tammie..thanks for the link. It is really good advice. I am not as good as I should be about hiding valuables or locking the car. Plus, my dad had some issues with identity theft a few years ago so I should be more careful.

I think one of the main reasons that I haven't been able to post as much is b/c my youngest dd has started to crawl recently. The kids are really keeping me on my toes lately! I miss chatting with you guys, but I do check in even when I can't post.

Hi to everyone I missed. Hope everyone is doing well. Its going to be in the forties here tomorrow..woohoo!

Joanne - Your DH sounds like most of our DH's. Easy going. Personally, I would go on the 25th. I wouldn't want to think about the ride home and having less time. I'm sure you'll be fine either way. We've had flights out from Midway at 8:00am and had to wake up at 4:00. That was not great but we still had a great vacation. Actually, that day was a blast.
I have the same problem as your DD. I can hardly open my eyes in the sun and I get headaches from all the squinting. I am now getting a couple wrinkles from all the squinting. I hate wearing sunglasses.
BabyB - At least you're panicking because you're going on vacation. How's everything else going? I know you were having some hard times.
Sewer - Do you like WL better than the mods? I loved POR and CBR, but I notice a big difference going to the deluxes. Just wondered about comparing the mod to the almost deluxe.
