Here are the reviews from Googling... I'll spare you the reviews, but just the most recent titles...

“Pretty Mediocre”

At least my BestF & I get the confrence rate of $200 a night and are splitting it. I'd be ticked if we were paying the $350 a night rack room rate!

I'd say give Erin right smack in the middle at 500? And what do you mean "poor" Erin? Isn't she in DLP right now? That's Disney - no "poor" Erin from me! :rotfl2:

I was being Sarcastic, Kara! :lmao:

No more trips with the inlaws - it makes you too fiesty! :rotfl2:

So, I've been holding out on you guys on a discussion that took place on our anniversary. DH thinks I am "cramming Disney down his throat" and doesn't really want to go... period! :scared1: I explained I had looked into Sesame Place and thought that it would be as much if not more than Disney, so discarded it. Looked into 6 flags, which was an option, but it involved him driving, which he hates, and given that we have young kids and Disney caters so much to young ones that would be our best bet.

He then said he wanted to wait until DD is 4! :scared1: :scared1:

So I suggest asking the neighbors (keep in mind they took a week at the beach - driving 8 hours - when the baby was 2 months old :thumbsup2 ) who went to Disney when DS 8, DD5, DD2 were on spring break last year! Stayed at ASsports - they drove the 13 hour trip too and told me it "wasn't that bad") He agreed to get their opinion. I already know they loved it! Ha.

So I agreed to "back off" disney and provide him some other options for vacation next year. So now I get to gather some facts about places I really don't want to go, and see what kind of lovely Disney package I can put together. :rolleyes1 Another big battle (HUGE BATTLE) is that DH has family in Orlando and wants to spend some of my valuable Disney time visiting people WE DON"T EVEN TALK TO! NO! NO! NO! DSIL suggested I say why don't they meet us at DTD for dinner one night - which they might, but I doubt it - that way we make an effort. :rolleyes1

So, I've been trying to keep my big mouth shut about Disney to him. ERRR!

Hey Kara - I know Laura said it was great in May. You mentioned it was Hot! What do you think about hte first week of May for next year?

Renee - this week was pretty hot, I'm not gonna lie. In fact, it was supposed to be 94 with high humidity the day we left. The sun was VERY hot beating down, but I was never really uncomfortable. We got lucky with low humidity until that last day. This is the third time I've been the first week of May and this was definitely the hottest. But the crowds were so low that it was awesome! We are already planning to go back for a week in 2 years. Also, we've only had one 20 minute shower in all three of those weeks!!! I really think this is just the greatest time of year. Plus, dare I repeat myself? We love Epcot and the Flower and Garden Festival makes it so pretty! There, got in my shameless plug for Epcot! :rotfl2:

BTW, I think it should be "poor" Laura and Kara because we're in mourning now! :rotfl2:

Cammie, you're next, right???? :cool1:

:rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2:
Kara, I read that as you only showered once your trip for 20 minutes. :rotfl2: :rotfl2: I had to go back and re-read to see if I was right. I was like, "no wonder she likes that Sawyer dude.":rotfl2: :rotfl2:

So how hot was it up until 12? That is what I'd mainly be concerned with. If we go next year with DD the napping princess, we'd be indoors from 1-4 then probably do dinner and go back to the park around 6ish.

I'm no trying to decide between early May, Mid-March (Easter is Mid April) or October.

Kara - I meant also to say every time I look at your weightloss ticker, it gets me wanting to lose more weight so...:thumbsup2 thanks for being a motivator!

You are soooo not right!!!! :rotfl2:

It really didn't start getting hot until lunchtime. It was chilly first thing in the morning, but I think that is the humidity. I wore sleeveless most of the time and was fine. Sometime the pits got a little moist (I know, TMI!!!!) but I never felt really hot and gross, know what I mean? But just feeling the sun on my skin - it was HOT! And another nice thing this week, I think we only saw 2 school groups the whole week!!! Last time we went there were a lot of class trips around, especially in Epcot. And also grad nights end the very first weekend in May I think.

This is a pic at around 11-12 am of the crowds around Mission Space. No wait at all for standby....

And around France at about 2-3pm

Around Germany in WS at about noon

WOW! I got to be honest, I think I saw more people in the park on the day we were there BEFORE it opened. That is really amazing. Thank you so much for pointing out about Grad Night! So don't want to get caught up in that I don't think - but we might just go in May next year. If we stay at the Poly and are there for the early morning and do the pool after noon, I am thinking the weather might seem just perfect. :rolleyes1 Notice I'M still planing on going next year, even if DH is presently not. :rolleyes1

OK, here's how I got DH to go 2 years ago. DD was getting ready to turn 5, we still weren't sure if we wanted to have another child yet, and one morning I was in the bathroom getting ready and I just started blubbering, "she's the perfect age to still belive in the magic, and if I get pregnant she'll NEVER get to go at this age...." I just cried and cried. About 2 weeks later DH surprised us on DD's bday with a trip that he had planned! I wanted her to go before she started school, and DH was convinced that she wouldn't remember it. Who cares??? I wanted to experience it through HER eyes at that age and it was wonderful. The characters were all still "real" this trip although she did start to question why the characters "with the big head" never close their mouths. :rolleyes1 Well, isn't it cause they are just so happy to be meeting children???? They can't stop smiling! :) Hey, it worked for now!

So just turn on the waterworks, Renee - ya never know!!!

Kara, you have such a sweet story, and a wonderful hubby. Mine would just look at me like this...

And then (jokingly) offer me Midol. :lmao: He is certain it will be a sucky time. :confused3 Some blasted guy at work went with a non-planner and is RUINING it for everyone, I bet! DS had such a blast at 4 - he didn't even remember if he met MICKEY when the man asked at the grocery store yesterday! SO WHAT! Seriously, I don't care if he remembers it - that is what my photopass is for! :lmao:

I'm going to talk DH into it if it kills me. He may not think it is that fun - whatever, but making ME and THE KIDS happy - well that is something I can get him on. Plus, all this said, this is the same man who tears up every time the kids get that deep belly laugh going and are having a good time. He probably just doesn't want to go 'cause he knows he will cry :rolleyes1

!
.

Keep on you DH. It took me almost 4 years to convince DH to go back. Now I have witnesses that heard him say we will go back when DD is 5. Like Debbie said earlier that's only 3.5yrs away. I tried to add that ticker but it won't work.

You can always mention that DD will free dining (she'll be under 3 right?).

It was warm after 12n. We spent 2 days in the parks all day. Those were HOT days. If you head into the parks in the am and leave by noon and come back at 4 pm it is perfect. That way you will have eliminated any school groups. Good Luck!

I have to go back to work tonight. I so don't want to do that....

Renee - I have faith in you girl - you'll be in WDW next year!!!! :thumbsup2

Laura - yeah, the goin back to work thing really sucks!!!! When did you get back in? I forgot you went to the beach after WDW.

Well, I did the math and I will be saving $300 if just DH and I go in Sept and stay in Yacht Club. Of course we won't get "free" dining, just reduced dining. But $300 savings more than covers one of our passes (if we had even paid for them!!!!!).

Oh, SIL emailed me yesterday all mad because she called Disney to book a trip for next May and they wouldn't do it!!! :rotfl2: I know I'm an evil witch but it just makes me laugh so hard!!! After all the crap she dishes out, I love to see it flung right back at her!

Renee - how long did it take you to get your photopass cd from the time you ordered it???

Kara - JUST PLEASE TELL HER NOT TO BOOK AT THE POLY! My luck I'd have her next door! DH would go all and well, I'd be forced to be walking around
www.clipartof.com

I give up - whatever...

Ah, maybe like 3 days???? It mails from Orlando, so you should get it fast.

Are you kidding? The Poly? Do you know how much that costs? And they'd have to PAY for it??? What are you thinking??? Actually, I'm guessing that they will stay in a mod just to "one up" her parents who paid for all of us in a value this trip.

Even though BIL is an attorney, they are sooo tight with money. And believe me, she likes to throw out all the time that he's an attorney. Tried it with the insurance company when they were rear ended, and the funny thing is, the insurance company would no longer negotiate with them. Made a flat offer and that was that!!!!! I know from working at Enterprise Rent a Car for 3 years, that as soon as an insurance company hears attorney, you lose! DH and I found that hilarious! I really am evil, aren't I???

I give up. The smiley gods are against me. :lmao:

That is RIGHT! That is why I'm not going to stay at the VALUE, :lmao: cause Kara has a CSIL (crazy) that will be there and there is NO WAY we can have that! :rotfl2: $$$$$ justified! Thanks Kara!

:rolleyes1 She is a piece of work! :headache:

I love it! She will be forever referred to now as CSIL!!!! How about PSIL (psychotic) or BSIL (y'all can figure that one out!!!).

DH just called me and said, "remember that popping sound in my hand?" Well, apparently whatever was "popping" in his hand has now "snapped" according to him. He said it's swollen and he can't move his ring finger. Great! Figures that this happens the night that he's supposed to cut the grass - it is so long right now!!!! And he doesn't want to stop and pick up dinner (still haven't been to the store since coming back!) because his hand hurts. There is no place to sit here with all the painter's stuff everywhere and furniture scattered!!!

Well, I might be off for the night now. Talk to y'all tomorrow!

Badookie's 1 today:cheer2:

We just had his pictures done. I can't believe it.
Kara your trip looked like the crowds were great. I am glad you liked POP maybe it was just too busy for us?

Here are a few pics
