Renee...bite your tongue only 3 more times! I always say once DH doesn't want to go, I am going without him! DH does still say "there, again?" and I always ignore him. I will see how long I can pull that off. I figure maybe next year I will throw a Disney cruise into the mix to change things up and we do want to go to Hawaii....but my goal is to visit once a year in some shape or form as long as possible......
I better go....

OK, y'all are gonna love this! My sil just emailed me to ask if we were bringing our camcorder. I said yes but we don't use it that much - we've already filmed all the shows so we just film a little bit. She said, are you ready for this? OK, so she said, seriously, this is gonna send you to the floor! She said, "maybe we'll just let you film for us because we don't have room in the car for our camcorder." WTH???? A) How large is their camcorder? But the bigger question is B) how large is this jogging stroller they are bringing??? They have a Jeep Cherokee and two kids (9 months and 4). What in the world are they bringing????

Oh, and she said they're bringing their suits so maybe we can go to the pool Saturday evening. Uh, NO! We only get 12 guest passes each year, then it's $3 per person on weekdays and $5 per person on weekends. Don't think that will charged to our account - that would be $30 for them to go to the pool for an hour!

I love rumblytumbly!!!! And the first day in Disney we'll all be decked out in her designs! Big Mickey heads with our names and favorite characters on them.

What is wrong with them and why did you invite them again??????
But don't forget...you can't rip on them to DH!

Yeah, right! I already called DH and told him about the camcorder. He just laughed. I'm serious. I will NEED to post every night down there just to vent! But I guarantee y'all will get some good laughs out of this trip!

Where else can you ***** and moan where we will never see or meet these people!

Renee, how old will DD be when you fly to Disney? We kinda cheated when DD was 2 yrs, 8 months and got her in under two to sit on my lap. She was sitting looking out the window on the tarmac counting the planes. We had to shush her so that we wouldn't get busted. :rotfl2: But she was so petite that nobody questioned us. And we said that if anyone asked we would say that she'll be two next month, cause technically, she would STILL be two the next month!!!! :lmao: Hey, at $300 a ticket at that time, it was well worth it!
My friend tried that at the airport 2 weeks after her son turned two. She got DENIED without a birth certificate. So she ended up not making her flight since a ticket was $350!

I think I mentioned this before but I went to Walmart yesterday and got DS the cutest short set with Mickey surfing!! Too cute and not cheap looking at all. I also got an adorable Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Tshirt! They have such great Disney stuff there! I got DD Hannah gym shoes, HSM sun glasses..

Plus, Target had Ariel and Nemo zip locs in the dollar section. TOO cute!
They do have some cute things there!

Oh, DH wouldn't go for it. We go to the beach each year, but that is about all he will be okay with. Maybe he will change his mind there, but i don't see him as wanting to go more than that. He isn't an annual Disney type of guy. He was there in Feb for a conference at Coranado Springs - never ventured out once in the 4 days.

What about telling them that it is going to cost you$30 bucks, so just bring the cash and they can pay when they go to the pool? :confused3 Also, WTH, you tell them no about the camcorder. Or better yet - ACCIDENTALLY leave it at home ;)

Yikes! Not worth that!

I'll leave it up to DH to handle. But suffice it to say that we will NOT be using a guest pass OR paying for them to go. DH is a wimp though - he'll probably just tell them that we don't have time or something like that. Just tell the truth!!! If they want to enjoy our pool, then fork over the cash! And I can assure you that won't happen either. Cheapskates!

RE: Kara's clan ...Exactly Renee!
As for WDW annually we will just meet up with you with the kids then!:rotfl2:

Plus, I always say when the kids get older we will do WDW and venture out, dare I say it, to "other" Orlando attractions! We do have a timeshare there in March we are going to try out. It's my P's and they rented it out to a friend since they have had it.

Oh great....
Just when I thought I could get up and do something I see Kara & Cammie are here too now!

Hey, anyone do the Disney movie club? I am thinking about it. Just went through Disney Movie Rewards and got a free Enchanted call...

I've been obsessively checking the Disney calendar, waiting for them to post November hours. I can make my ADRs on May 12th; so I want to start mapping out my days as soon as I can!

I did it about ten years ago - but mine are all videotapes!:headache: It was a good deal. But now, when Disney re-releases something on DVD, I get usually get a real good price at Target or Best Buy.

Live 365 just went on...maybe that will help me get something done.

DH leaves tonight for a weekend golf outing. I know it annoys my parents that he does these things away from the family so much but it doesn't bother me. My P's have been together 24/7 since the day they got married over 40 years ago. They like it. That's there thing, I actually envy it but my marriage is different. DH doesn't get all over my about my WDW obsession and I let him do his thing. I don't really want to get away with out the kids yet so I don't care that I don't do it myself. Plus, when he's away I still hang with my P's....
Does that make sense?

The bad thing is we DO lack alone time with just each other... I guess that will change as the kids get older....
