I had DD try on mary janes. she said she liked the caymans better. I like the look of the MJ's better. Oh well, I'm just glad I found shoes she would wear.

I'd better get going. "See" y'all tomorrow. :)
Be careful tanning!
Good night!

Ummm ...... count me as one of THOSE adults.......

YIKES - that's a real close up for ya!
:thumbsup2 Cammie, you rock for so many reasons, I sware I want to be like you! LOVED the pic!

Oh gross! Now my big face is in the first post of a new page!:scared:
Yeah, well, that is what I thought with some of those pics I put up - that and skip the poly and get braces!:lmao:

DD's Alice dress looks so pretty!
I agree! I think the Alice dress looked amazing on her Erin!

Ok and another .. this is from last time we went when DD was 7 vut is one of my alltime faves .. she loooves Chip and Dale
]
They were my fav as a child too!

We usually go to taco night at the clubhouse every thursday. Three tacos, your choice of soft or hard, for $3, plus unlimited chips and salsa and 2 for 1 margaritas. But it looks so busy up there today - must be a golf outing or something. So we're just gonna go back to the pool and eat at the snack bar - they have great burgers and sandwiches there. I told DH that since I cleaned the kitchen, there would be no cooking until we get back from Disney!!! :rotfl2:

OK, sorry for mentioning the "p" word with so many of you having frost and snow. I'll behave now.......
I do the same with the kitchen! :rotfl: Now as for all that P talk, all I have to say is ours opens in less than a month! But we have no cool cabana. :sad2:

I'm out of here for a little while - have to pick DD up from play practice and then think I'll take her to dinner. She's had a tough week - MAJOR drama with her "supposed" BFF! Middle School! :headache:
Middle Schhol - yuck. :sad2: Hope DD gets to feeling better soon and the drama calms down.

Hi Girls!OMG I am so tired I feel like I have been drugged! Seriously...I am wiped out!
Hope you get to feeling better!

RE: Scooba....Linens & things is giving a free $25.00 gift card with purchase PLUS free shipping AND you can get 20% off using Mom08.... IT IS SO.......worth it!

Do they work on grouted tile and hardwood?

I hated 5th and 6th grade. I dread the day my DDs hit that age. I'll send them to live with the grandparents. HAHAHA! Good luck with DD Cammie. From the sounds of it she has a great head on her shoulders and it is a bummer that other girls are mean. have you seen the movie ]"Mean Girls or Heathers"? They both give an uncanny look into the clicks of school[/SIZE.

I've seen parts of Mean Girls, but I'm actually reading the book that the movie was based on "Queen Bees and Wannabees". Oh good lord, ladies, do not let your little girls grow up and be teenagers is all I've got to say!

Poor DD. This is the second major battle with this girl in the past month. She's doing a pretty good job though - I'm proud of her! Last month, her friend was really picking on one of the quiet girls in their group; my DD stuck up for her, which didn't sit well with the friend. But DD held her ground. Her friend wound up giving her a long apology and I thought things were back to normal. NOT! What kills me is the way they argue now is through texting - serious, angry texting back and forth. I'm trying to let DD handle this on her own terms, but she is now apalled because the friend is really using some bad language in her texting. I'm just shocked at the language! This girl was such a sweetheart!:sad2: My DD is fine though; she really does hang with a good group of girls and they all seem to be "with" her on this matter. I just hate to see good friends slip away like this! And the really sad thing is......I know I ain't seen nothing yet!

Debbie - Me likey Jack too!

Laura - re: the Mary Janes. Are we talking the crocs? Didn't someone say the maryjanes are not as comfortable? My DD tried them on too and didn't like the way the felt. We're sticking with our Tevas! What's sick is my DD is now a size 7; so I decided to just orders size 8s and we're going to share! She's so excited to share shoes with me - she's had her eyes on my Coach wedges for three years now!

Allright - I need to go mentally prepare for "Lost" tonite. I may need to pour some wine!

Hi Renee, Kara, Laura, Debbie, Tammie, Erin,Jillian, Tessa, Pam, Tina et al.

Love the photos!!!! Jillian, is that POFQ? Is that where you're staying in November?

Renee, did the photopass photog take any of DS "holding" Tink or Stitch?

Kara that was POFQ from our honeymoon. We will be staying there again in Nov. We LOVE it there, So quiet and nice to come back and not have to fight off crowds.

I am hoping for a second wind here.....

Kara..if you like Chip & Dale they have the cutest graphic T that I got that says "greetings from the nut house" It's actually a mans shirt but I HAD to have it!
Can't find it on-line though.

I made DD a shirt that says "Ally is NUTS about Chip n Dale" from the DISign boards of course!

Also, I feel bad for the DD troubles. Did this have anything to do with the lunchroom stuff that happened before? I dread that age. GIRLS ARE MEAN!

Cammie...I am more of a "Jack" fan! Love McDreamy & McSteamy...also lust after John Stamos, Zac Efron, the NEW London bachelor, the husband on the Ghost Whisper.....shall I go on?

Ah.... McDreamy is aging nicely - remember what a nerd he was as a teenager? I can't remember the movie but he was the nerd who paid the cheerleader to pretend to be his boyfriend? And McSteamy grows on my every episde. Zac Efron???? Yes, he's a cutie, but isn't he like 12? :rotfl2:

I know...my mood is all over the board! I mean it is crazy. My kids have like 5 different mom's!

They call me Sybil!!!

I've seen parts of Mean Girls, but I'm actually reading the book that the movie was based on "Queen Bees and Wannabees". Oh good lord, ladies, do not let your little girls grow up and be teenagers is all I've got to say!

Thanx! I can hardly wait!

I agree with Renee that it sounds like she's a smart girl - you've done a great job, Cammie, with both your girls! I wanna be like Cammie when I grow up!!! Or should I say, when my DD grows up?

Debbie - Me likey Jack too!

Too whiney for me. SAWYER!!!!

I think it was me that said I don't like my mary janes as well as my beach/cayman crocs. They just seem to run a little small and the sole is not as thick.

Allright - I need to go mentally prepare for "Lost" tonite. I may need to pour some wine!

Hi Renee, Kara, Laura, Debbie, Tammie, Erin,Jillian, Tessa, Pam, Tina et al.

Loved me some Lost last night!!!!!

Kara that was POFQ from our honeymoon. We will be staying there again in Nov. We LOVE it there, So quiet and nice to come back and not have to fight off crowds.

We stayed at POR in March and thought it was nice. I know you didn't like POP and I hate that for you. But we liked it last time and hope it works out next week, too, so we don't hear from the rest of the family. And I know I'd probably appreciate the mods more with a little tot like you have. But the last time we were at POP, we didn't do any breaks (except one where DD woke up like her mama with PMS!!!) so that's why we'll probably stick with POP for the long vacations, and then on the short trips where we'll try to do mods and deluxes. My goal is to try to stay in all the resorts!!! Caribbean Beach is the only mod we have left, and after our Sept and Dec trips we'll only have Beach Club, Animal Kingdom, Poly, Contemp, and GF left, I think! But I"ll hold off on GF until the end just to spite Debbie! :rotfl2:

OK, ladies, off to work for 5 hrs and 13 minutes and then I'm officially on vacation!!!!!! DD is so excited for her pedicure tonight!

Good Morning, Kara! I see you are still there while you are working :goodvibes
We TIVOd lost - it comes on at 10pm here - DH gets up at 5 - too late for him, and last night, me too.

I'm awake too early, trying to get sleepy again and go back to sleep. So why am I typing? I'll try to check in with you ladies tonight.

Kara- We are trying to stay in all of the resorts. We are the opposite of you. For our short trips we will stay in values we have only done POP so far. I have stayed at ASMu but not DH. We are a MOD family. It is just the right price range to be in the parks all day and come back to sleep or Pool. We are saving GF for our 10 year anniv. We have decided to Disney Next October we will stay at CBR. If we have it in the budget I think we may bump to either the contemp. or poly.

Have fun w/ your beautifying you are going to have so much fun.

Good morning everyone.

Think it was Laura who asked about Crocs? I also think the mary jane style is way less comfy than the caymen - they are cuter, but feel less comfy on the feet!

My cleaning continues today. We will have DBIL and DSIL here tomorrow night, so I don't know how much access I will have to the computer since they sleep in this room! I will see if I can drunk post a bit tonight, but I may be MIA again doing last minute things before they get here!

Jillian - sounds like a great plan of yours to see all the resorts! DH and I are creatures of habit, once we find something we like, we generally just lock in.

Speaking of things we DON'T like. Oct 2001 we came down to Orlando to visit SIL & BIL (notice no D in front). They recommended we stay at the Comfort Inn there - not the one on I-Drive but the other. Well, lets just say they laughed when we told them how awful it was and I actually locked our TOOTHBRUSHES in the safe to keep the ANTS away from them. For $35 it was cheap, but OMG, never again will I stay at a comfort inn! :scared1:

Hi to everyone. I'm off to pack up baby clothes for DSIL to take home. IT is so sad to pack up DD things! Especially now that she is a toddler. :sad2: It goes so fast! I'm on the fence about what to do with my favorite clothes of hers. Should I save them and have a blanket made from them, or just give them to DSIL? Keep in mind that DSIL is getting a ton of clothes anyway! I want to keep them, but then I know that my DN could use them, so it makes it really tough!

Okay, off to package things up. Have a good day everyone!

It's funny, so many people complain about the resort prices at Disney, but when you break it down.... transportation to/from parks, onsite dining, great theming, etc.... then paying $150 for a room is really not bad. Did I just say that? :rotfl: But I totally see where you're coming from. I'd love to do GF just don't know if that one will EVER be in the budget! I'll need Debbie to find me the steal of a deal for that one!:rotfl: And I must admit, strolling around POR was much more pleasant that POP. One can only see so many giant rubik's cubes before the senses explode! :rotfl2:

Well I guess we are creatures of habit too. We go to Disney for EVERY vacation. I think we need to try the carribean at least once.

I would save the clothes you really love. My mother had clothes from when I was born and they are still in really great shape If I ever have a little girl I will dress her in them. I love the quilt idea that can stay in your family forever.

I don't so much mind the prices as I will never stay offsite again, but $400/night is pushing it for me anywhere. Maybe I would have liked POP better if it was value season. I am sure you will have a great time like I said the rooms are spotless and everyone was pleasent also I liked being in the 50's section other than the parking being so far w/ Badookie.

Renee, I kept a bunch of DD's nice outfits, then ended up selling some at our yard sale before we moved. I still hung onto a couple so she can pass them on to her daughter someday. DD's first photo at 3 months was taken in a dress that I wore when I was a baby, just 27 years ago.... :rolleyes1 OK, OK, maybe a tad longer...

Hope you can stop in for drunk posting tonight!!! You know how crazy us WW gals are!

Jillian, I totally know what you mean about $400/night. I'd best be getting a nice foot massage every night after wandering around the parks, champagne breakfast, etc, etc, for that price! I think we're getting POP for $79 or $99/night this trip, and our last trip it was $79. Plus, FL residents basically seem to get the value and mod rooms for the price of one season lower. So when we went in March, POR should have been $199 and I think we paid $179 resident rate. So that helps out a bit.

Badookie is napping so off to the shower and then to Toys r us for his birthday shopping. It's so nice he doesn't know that it is for him yet. We have no clue what to get for him :confused3 What do you get a 1yo? We are getting a water table and some tadoodles. Well be back later this afternoon.

Good morning girls!
Gloomy but warm today. DD had a picture day and went off to school looking so cute (I can say that to you guys, right?), DS is vegging out and I need to clean. Just wanted to say HI.

LOVE Scooba for my hardwood! Yes, it works on most everything! I am not kidding! It is the best thing next to sliced bread.

Cammie...your DD is awesome. Good luck with all that. I really am scared for that age.

Kara & Laura I seriously CAN NOT believe you are going!!!! OMG it is so soon! What will we do with out you!

As for the room prices...YES! RIDICULOUS!!!!
That's why if you truely want to treat yourself to that kind of experience you really have to go with a package (hopefully a discounted package) and then you can't break it down. If you tell yourself the cost of the room it will just make ya throw up so look at it differently and ALL you are getting for that price. That's what I do. What we pay at GF is absurd but we always say OK....we want to spend $3000.00 this trip...what should we do? That's why ASM will be half the trip. And Kara, you can tell yourself that you don't have to pay airfare and Jilllian you can say it's your 10 year anniversary splurdge...see how my mind works!

That's the kind of stuff you should get. Stuff for fun that you probably would have bought anyway and a couple cute things to unwrap, right?

DS also loved the little people animals at that age. They sell them in small packs and I recommend that over buying the big sets. It seems like all my kids ever wanted to play with were the little figures and not the set that they come with... I think $5 for 3 or something like that. The water table should be fun, as the tadoodles too! DD is still just more interested in everyday things and exploring than toys though. She is almost 14 mo now.

You have an AP I assume??? Does that help? You must being making that worth your while with all these trips.

We always check...
.......current offers (like free dining)
.........I always call to see if there is a code attached to my name
........and we buy AAA as a last resort.

We always seem to go with a package that seems to work out to 20% off. I am dying for the 40% off! That's when ya gotta jump all over the GF!!!!!

OMG Look at my weather ticker it is POURING and thundering!

Exactly...half the time there are NO toys involved what so ever!

I just realized last night we will be buying airfare for 4 people! :scared1: AT least it is like $65 a ticket one way here, but still. We COULD drive it in about 13 hours but DH and I said never again after last time and that was before kids. I agree with you Debbie. I read that once you step onto Disney there is an inverse relationship with your time and money - and that is true in my book. It is just how you want to allocate it. In our case, we will probably go once next year, maybe again in the next couple of years, but I don't see DH wanting to go that much at all, so I can justify the splurge more since i know we will go maybe 3 times tops with the kids.

DD is NOT wanting to nap today. She is going to be so nasty!

I think I mentioned this before but I went to Walmart yesterday and got DS the cutest short set with Mickey surfing!! Too cute and not cheap looking at all. I also got an adorable Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Tshirt! They have such great Disney stuff there! I got DD Hannah gym shoes, HSM sun glasses..

Plus, Target had Ariel and Nemo zip locs in the dollar section. TOO cute!

Renee, how old will DD be when you fly to Disney? We kinda cheated when DD was 2 yrs, 8 months and got her in under two to sit on my lap. She was sitting looking out the window on the tarmac counting the planes. We had to shush her so that we wouldn't get busted. :rotfl2: But she was so petite that nobody questioned us. And we said that if anyone asked we would say that she'll be two next month, cause technically, she would STILL be two the next month!!!! :lmao: Hey, at $300 a ticket at that time, it was well worth it!
