1,2,3 all together awwwwww......

She is adorbale. I can't wait to see my DD face when she meets her first CM. Again me and my shoe fetish..how'd she do in those sandals?

Renee I know how are feeling leaving DD behind. I am going to be a basket case when we leave. But DD 17 mos will have a great time with my mom and dad. It will be the first time she has had any alone time with them. I left DD6 when she was 18 mos old to go out to Utah to meet DH at Sundance. Had a great time but everytime I didn't have anything to do I thought of her. At least you will have DS with you.

I think it is a crying kind of day. It's gray and yucky here.

Those sandals were awesome!!! Very cushioned - she wore them the whole trip and no problems at all!!! They were Stride Rites, I think I found them at Kohl's at the time. I also had a pair of Nike sandals for her but they didn't have near the cushioning for walking the parks.

okay I have now moved from clothes to my other items to bring....

what types of 1st aid would you carry in the park. I will have bandaids and moleskin in my Baggallini.

I have my $ store umbrella and ponchos.
My gallon ziptop bags.
Tyneol, Advil, Benedryl, sudafed, murine , pepto and gavascon
My scented soap and plug-in
hair items
razors

What other items did you forget that you really needed. I have my passporter check list but I think its missing something.

My garden center opens in 2 weeks I am a little frazzled. I want to make sure I have everything rather than wait for the last min.

Neosporin and Bandaids - I just picked up the new Neosporin to go - and toss in a couple of bandaids each day.... Also, I keep a big black garbage bag in my bag so I can throw EVERYTHING into it on Kali River Rapids or any reallly wet ride!

OK, y'all what the h*** is up with Paula tonight on Idol??? I'm afraid to watch for fear she's gonna have a wardrobe malfunction!!!!!

I also lather up with sunscreen before we leave our room, and then carry a travel size in my bag for refreshers during the day....

OK, Idol is over so time for DD to go to bed now! I'm so exhausted right now!!!! I got all my pretty flowers planted this afternoon, let's see what has been gobbled up by the deer tomorrow morning despite what they said about being deer resistant!

Y'all have a good night!

Did you guys miss me? I left for a whole 4 hours!!!
Kara...LOVE the pix!!!!! Good luck with everything tomorrow Kara. I will be thinking about you and how terrible it is going to be. I REALLY feel for ya!
You will appreciate this story.....even though I live IN Chicago I live in this awesome neighborhood with lots of wilderness. I will take pix one of these days. Well, we have a local hawk. He has been around for a few years now and I love to spot him. Well, it turns out he got someone's poodle!!! My good friend is scared stiff because she has one of those little whippersnapper dogs.

Renee I know how you feel. I have mood swings like there is NO tomorrow. Cry all you want! Come here too if that helps!

I am TIVOing a whole bunch of TV. I'll go watch and unwind now. I stressed myself out today with my mess, my kids and booking the trip. My DH isn't thrilled which actually does make me feel better. I really just make him go every time. Am I selfish? He's happy when he's there but I know he would rather go somewhere else. I would rather not!:snooty:

Hi Laura! How wwere your swim lessons? We got caught in a downpour!

Managed to get to COSTCO to use my coupons and get some more.......

Good morning!

Great pictures, Kara & Debbie. Maybe we should start another thread: POTD for CF&WWs! I love looking at pictures from Disney - especially when they're of people I know! I need to get my pix from earlier years downloaded onto my computer - they're still on picture CDs. I'll add that to my long list of things to do!

Debbie - I figured out you can transfer your Tivo shows onto VHS; on my DVR, there's an option to select "Record onto VCR". I asked the cable guy if there is a way to copy onto DVD; he told me that function is not allowed because of copyright issues. Don't know why it's ok to do to VHS then.:confused3 Anyway, I saved my two Samantha Brown WDW Christmas specials; and Raven Symone's Food Network xmas special - those are the ones we watch over and over again!

Kara - I'll be thinking of you today! Good luck - you're doing the right thing.

Renee - Hope you're feeling better today.
Jillian - We're still waiting for your pix, missy!
Laura - Always remember, the first aid station in all the parks will give you whatever you may need: bandaids, aspirin, pepto, immodium. They have it all!

Will check in later, ladies - maybe with more pix!:)

Well, one thing I've learned from all the photo posting.... We are one good looking thread!!!!! :rotfl2:

Another thing I've learned from all this photo posting.... I am SOOOOO going this year at Christmas! :thumbsup2

If y'all want a funny email of ads from the 30's (shows just how PC we have become!) pm me your email and I"ll send to you. You won't believe what Lysol was advertised for!!!! :scared1:

Kara :flower3: We're with you today

Debbie yesterday was our last lesson. She somewhat mastered the front crawl but they didn't promote her to the next level. She needs just a little more work. We're going to skip this upcoming session of lesson because of the trip we'd miss 2 weeks. I love the Y for the swimming lessons. We had 3 girls in class and for $25 that's a steal.

I just ordered my girls ID bracelets. I bought the stainless steel kind. I went round and round on how to identify DD. She wanted a necklace but I figured she could get that off to easy. The bracelet is like a medical alert one although it doesn't have the medical cross on it. I'm just hoping she wear it.

I agree we are very good looking bunch!

I sware, you guys probably think I could be a drama channel , "all drama, all the time".

Anyway, Guess who injured her foot last night???:sad2: I have a problem for some reason with stepping on things in my arch. I stepped on a balled up sock from DS in the dark - of all things, and it got my foot all messed up. It REALLY hurts when I walk. I'm wearing my aesics in the house to see if I can get it better by Sat. Generally when I do this it take about a week. :sad2: So now this, the yucky ear, which still feels like a lot of pressure. :sad2: But it will be okay.

DS sounds better, just that nasty cough. He looks better. DD seems some better, but still very yucky. Poor DH is starting to get his allergies going. :sad2:

I packed last night, somewhat. I realized I'm really pushing the carryon thing. I have a carryon suitcase, a backpack, DS DVD case, my bag, and a stroller. PLUS the cooler for the liquid meds. Then I have the one checked bag - remember when I debated just taking the carryon??? :lmao: :lmao: Let's just say I was digging out the second bag to check last night. Now, we can get it all in one, but there would be no room to bring one thing back! Oh well, at least I can check everything on the return trip!

I have still schedule my car in the shop, get the meds together, reschedule DD pictures, pack (and Laura, I'm taking hydrocort cream, but that is a daily for DS, neosp, and bandaids, plus tylenol for DS and motrin for me - and I'm leaving almost all of it in the room. I think I have read what Cammie was saying - no matter what you need you can duck into first aid - so outside a couple of bandaids, that is my plan - just to have things in the room).

Kara - will be thinking of you today. I think I will go wash the car - that should make it rain :lmao: :lmao:

I was about to head out the door to the carwash.... guess what? It's raining! :lmao: Told ya!

Yep, three days. I'm starting to get a little stressed over that actual 3:30 morning! :scared: What the heck was I thinking?? Anyway, I need everything packed by tomorrow. That way I can make sure we get to bed early Friday. I think we are going to need it.

I'm debating on if I should tell DS the night before. Sometimes, big things going on the next day bribe him to go to sleep early. Here lately it seems he just makes him stay awake more in anticipation. I wonder how he is going to react to me plucking him out of bed at 4 am.
