I had allergy testing done YEARS ago and may have to do it again.
You never mention your SIL and Ohio State! Wow, you just moved up a notch in my book! Maybe now I won't make as much fun of your 19 ADRs (since you cut back!) - nah, it's too much fun!

Yeah, it is just the whole having to go in that bugs me. Like I need one more thing on my to-do list! I just have to suck it up. Before I knew I was pregnant, nursing, or trying to get preg for the last 5 years, so I put that stuff off. Now that I'm getting DH fixed in about 3 1/2 weeks I can get my life back a little and start doing some stuff medically to make me feel better without feeling like I'm affecting someone else.

Oh - and I never mentioned the OS thing before because I didn't know you had a doggie that liked buckeye chewies! She is actually thinking of moving to Ft Myers this Fall, so if you need anything - better act fast. She has a baby due in August, so after that, I may be no help!

"you know it is going to hurt like h*** when you fly don't you." I sware, I wanted to go "DUH! Why do you think I am in here!" My dr. had the NERVE to have a baby so I had to see his partner, who ended up being pretty cool. He kept shaking his head and saying it wasn't going to be a nice flight. Turns up no infection. Just a swollen tube causing everything to fill the right side of my head. I'm SO LUCKY! He suggested a catscan when I get back to make sure my sinus cavity doesn't have some abnormailty that could be surgically corrected and put an end to all this. If not, then they will move on to allergy testing - which I almost would rather do this first. I am allergic to a few things I know - adhesive, strawberries, and onions. Go figure. And when I say adhesive I mean bandaids, med tape, that stuff. Isn't that crazy? SO, my vote is that I am finally going to have to do that drawn out allergy test, and go on the injections. I've put this off, but I finally give. I just want to feel good.

Off to clean up my ADRs. I need to drop that 9:40Tusker. Call me silly, but it makes me so nervous for them to do any deleting. I just wish we could log in and do it online ourselves

I'm sorry Renee that you have had to go through all of that. Hope they are able determine what's wrong. I had horrible ear infections and sinus infections. Turned out I had allergies. I have had 2 rounds of allergy shots in my life. Once grade 4-7 and then in college for 4 yrs. I can honestly say my allergies are almost gone. Granted ragweed gets me every year. Just make sure you have a really good magazine to read while having the testing done or have someone in the room that you can talk to. Some of the tests will drive you mad. I wanted to itch my back sooo bad. Just stay away from Epcot and the flowers

I too am scared when I change my ADRs. I would hate if they lost something.

OK, I win now - we have decided on Wednesday or Thurs to put Bella down. I just walked into the family room and she's just laying in the middle of the floor, probably too tired or hurts too much to make it into our bedroom. I called DH in tears. He can't go with me today or tomorrow so we're going to call the vet and schedule her for Wed or Thurs afternoon as long as my neighbor can watch Ally while we're gone. I'll just send her straight there from school so we can tell her that Bella just died during the day. I'm a basket case right now just thinking about it! I've never had to "plan" this before, it's always just happened while we were at the vet for something.

So please don't kick me off yet! I need you guys!

Oh, I needed a couple good laughs today. I totally screamed like a maniac at the poor guy at Dell! At least they got me up and running FINALLY. We'll see how long it lasts this time.

Then I go out and Bella had an accident by the back door (at least she made it that far) and Bucky has chewed his new Ohio State collar completely off! I have no idea how he managed that, but I'm so mad because that wasn't exactly easy to get down here in Florida!

Wait, my Monday gets even better. While Dell was working on my work computer, I fired up our laptop to get Live365 going, and the first thing that popped up was the most horrible porno site!!!! I can only imagine if DD would have logged on instead of me to play on Webkinz or Barbie.com. I started crying when I saw it, just thinking about how traumatized she would have been - I mean it was full fledged porno! So I called DH and yelled at him, even though I knew it wasn't him - something just snuck in there. But I needed to yell at someone, right?

It's gonna be a very sucky week I can tell already. Hey, at least I can listen to Live and think of Erin and Tessa there!

I don't know if you can stay here. I thought that we were value people, not those Deluxe people.

kara we can't kick you off. Who else would tell us great MIL stories. Sorry to hear about Bella. You're doing the best thing. It is a tough decision and remember we're here for you.

This morning when I booted up our personal laptop, these horrible photos popped up all over! I mean REALLY graphic - made ME blush and I was alone! I'm just really thankful that DD wasn't the one that saw them. I told DH that I'm gonna have Comcast come out and get our upstairs older 'puter online so DD can get on Barbie.com and Webkinz from up there. I mean, how scarred would she be after seeing something like that????

Renee, I hate that you can't see Epcot this visit - it is my alltime favorite park, especially during Flower & Garden festival. HOpefully next time you go with the whole family you can make sure it's on your to-do list.

I guess I missed that eye-opening morning you had. Ah, we don't have much time anyway, so I am not seeing that as a big deal. DS would like the fish exibit, but outside that, not so sure he would have a lot to do there. With us only really having 2 full days, I just think other parks would be better - and the fact that I'm avoiding the flower fest is making it even better! We have said we will go back Oct or Nov next year when DD is 2 1/2. I may join my buddy, Debbie in being a GF snob. Either there or the Poly. If we will have the princess with us, she needs access to a nap and fast! Honestly though, the monorail in my mind really makes things SOOOO much easier. I think that alone is worth the money, and as my best friend puts it, we are self professed hotel snobs. She can't believe I'm "slumming it" this trip

Okay, DS is in charge of deciding what toys to bring for the hotel room. He sleeps with a bed full of soft toys -anyway, I was thinking of maybe 2 smaller stuffed animals (pooh & mickey), those little toys from disney store of Toy Story (the 2/$12 plastic sets of characters).

Any suggestions about this stuff? We've usually let him take a lot but I realize he will want to bring stuff home too, and the cases are pretty full already!

Also, has anyone seen a Buzz with wings there lately? He has one with no wings here, and I think he'd love that. I know he is going to put up a fight to bring his big Buzz and Woody, but those things are huge!

I'm laughing because since DD didn't have school today, that was her main job. She has her carry one packed full of art supplies, puppies, polly pockets and princesses. I still will have to find room for her CD and DVD player. We haven't even begun to think about the autograph book.

Generally she is pretty outgoing. I am kind of concerned when it comes to meeting the characters. I was going to go all out and create a autograph book to surprise her with but I am concerned that she won't like the the characters enough to get a picture with them let alone a autograph. I'm still pre-ordering the photo pass but what about the book?

DH will not start to plan his clothes. He has tons of UV fishing shirts but not a lot of shorts. Plus his waist size went up this year. He's freaking out because he is now a 30 not a 29. Yes to him that is a crisis. If I were that size I would be dancing all the time. I think I am just going to have to pack for him. .I .kno.w .. there 28 days before my trip but I am concerned he won't have anything to wear. DD 17 mos is helping with this post

Definitely let him bring a couple of smaller stuffed animals, plus whatever you buy for him, because mousekeeping likes to decorate the rooms with the toys. Sometimes you'll come back and they'll be tied into the curtains so you see them as you're walking up to your room. Sometimes they're arranged on the bed, whatever.....

We were REALLY worried about Ally when we went in 2006 - she had just turned 5 and she would FREAK out around Chuck E Cheese! I mean shaking and hiding under the table when he would walk around. So we didn't know what to do. Then SHE explained to US that the characters at Disney are differenet because they are REAL and Chuck E Cheese is just someone dressed up! So we just went with it and she was fine from the minute we got there. In fact, we accidentally found Character Connection at Epcot on our first day. We thought it was a toy store, and DH popped his head in, then came out and said, "they're ALL there." It was the FAb 5 so we said, well it's now or never.... She walked in and straight into Mickey's arms! She was fine with Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, and Chip n Dale, and Donald. Goofy is so much taller than the rest that she kinda stood back as she handed him her autograph book and made me stand with her for the photo. It got so bad that she was wanting to stand in line for EVERY character we saw! We started making up diversions so we could get by some of them! But if you get on the design board, I made an awesome autogaph book for her for this trip. It's heavy though because it's like 130 pages of cardstock (I think it's nearly 2" thick!) and I also have a 5x7 clip board to make it easier for the characters to sign it.

As for DH not packing? You need to do it so that you can coordinate all your outfits. I don't go crazy but I make sure that if I'm wearing a red striped shirt, that DH has to wear a solid shirt that day, and then DD has to wear something that somewhat coordinates with both of us. That way the pics look better! Anyone else do this or is this just over the top control issues???

It's booked for September 18th to the 25th but we might cut that down and do part Naples, FL again. DH of course burst my bubble when his reply to my excitement was "aren't we ever going to go anywhere else?"
I just try and ignore him!
Talk about flying by the seat of your pants...this decision was all made within minutes after I opened my email from Disney Rewards! Yeah me!!!

WTH? I hadn't thought of that. THANKS KARA, now I have to repack Maybe not, DS and I are just wearing different DIsney shirts. Ie - first day there, a Buzz shirt to help with our Buzz request at the AS , I'm wearing Pooh that day since we are eating at CP, etc. The colors probably won't match at all. GEEE....

Too cute. I will have to do that then! DS has always had a think for Little People and the like. SO I am sure I will play "where's Zurg" and "Where's Buzz" till I'm sick of it. I've done that already today. As for the autograph book. All I can say is I didn't think enough of it in advance. I am a big scrapbooker and my best friend is too, she told me to just get an autograph book in the resort store. Said that they were good to use for the signatures. We'll see I guess. Then I can alter it once I get home. She said there is a style like photo on the right, sign on the left and you can do that or have them sign the picture, but nothing is back to back so they can be removed to scrapbook easily. Make sense? I hope she is right!

Got my ressies settled. As bad as I hated to, I had to have them check that 8:05 ressie at TH. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't screw that up! Then I had them dump the 9:40. I also dropped the H&V lunch. SO KARA, now it is 6 -six stinkin ADRS. Just kiddin! It is hard to convey sarcasm here. Someone needs to make a little smart %$ thingy that we can click on. OH, FOUND THE SARCASTIC BUTTON! I've got it all on my sheet. I'm so hoping that they didn't mess any of them up. I changed everything to optimal times except that 8pm at CM. That place has had no change since I started calling 60 days ago. What do you think my chances are of showing up early and getting seated early?

I saw that special too, but I thought you were going in OCT so I didn't mention it - sorry!!! Glad it worked out. That is how our trip got booked. DH said go ahead and book and it was done in 5 minutes. NOW that wasn't good for us, 'cause I knew nothing. Our other option was early May, but no, I wanted to go faster - and obviously when it is more crowded!

OMG!!! Debbie, I might just check with DH to see if he wants to pretend we got married in September!!!! We were just laughing about this last night. I said, "just think, if we buy a DVC, then we get the FL resident pass, if we could just find free dining we could basically go for "free" !!!!" He gave me the ole but I could tell that the wheels were turning!!! This might even add to "Plan DVC!"
