I had mine in my siggy; then had to remove it for a little while to fit some other things. (my house is cluttererd too - didn't need my DIS siggy to be cluttered also! )

IMHO, the cleaning lady coming every two weeks forced me to keep things cleaner. It was like, I was embarrised for her to come, so I did more! Nice to know where my priorities are, huh? DH, DD, DS - they'll be alright, but that cleaning lady, I had better clean up for!

And I second the sunscreen info. Don't forget your face and lips too!!!!

You are sooo right about the cleaning lady - DH was so much better about picking up after himself when he knew we had a cleaning lady coming - guess he didn't want her seeing his undies laying around!

And don't forget the EARS with sunscreen either! How many times have I let DD's ears burn because I pulled her hair into a ponytail and never though about her ears???

My Mom still feels lousy. They are treating her for a uterine lining infection TMI but now she thinks she is getting a cold to top it all off! The puppy is OK too.
My Scooba broke though & they won't replace it. Anyone know about this thing? I LOVE IT!!!!!!! Can't live without!!

So sorry your mom hasn't perked up yet - hopefully the treatment will help. How are the shots going for the pup?

I was a little worried about the "scooba" - didn't know what it is, but after reading Laura's remarks below.... I WANT ONE!!!!!

I found that there is discount now for room onlys for the time I am going. I have to call and see if it will reduce my rate. I have the DxDDP so any little bit helps.

I emailed MIL this morning about that - we were able to get the free water parks and more, and hoping we can get this discount too. If so, I will have saved them over $600 on this trip, just since they booked. So if one person makes fun of me for my obsessive planning, so help me....

OK, "my therapist says...." sounds like a new game to play! I told DH that "my therapist says" I need to relax. He just started laughing into the phone! So then I told him "my therapist also says" my husband is an a******, to which he really laughed hard and said to just add her to the list of those with that opinion! I'm lucky he can laugh at my craziness I guess. I really do need to relax. But how can I relax when I have my inlaws coming to town tomorrow afternoon? And my DD's best friend and her family (our old neighbors) are stopping in Saturday afternoon for lunch? Every time I ever walked into this woman's house, it was pristine. I hate for her to see mine! I just do not understand how some people can keep a "perfect" house? I just don't get it.

OK, no little "gifts" today, but I'm working on it and hope to have before y'all leave next week.

And on that same topic (according to Tammie, ) I went to put Buckeye in his "room," which is what we call the cage in DD's room, and he was really fighting me for some reason. When I got in front of the crate, I noticed that he had a HUGE accident in there sometime last night! I'm sure DD didn't notice it when she let him out this morning. And for some reason (thank goodness!!!!) he didn't track it all over the house. Poor dog thought I was going to put him in there! Oh, and this was right as I was walking out the door to my therapy appt! Needless to say, I had a meltdown, called my hubby, threw the phone, etc. Then drove like a bat out of hades to get there (45 minutes across town!!!). So I was all worked up when I got there, which was probably a good thing! Oh, and she recommended that I get another cleaning lady! And if "my therapist says" then by all means, I have to do it, right? In all seriousness though, I just called our realtor and asked her for a referral.

Anyway, tonight is my Jenny Craig night, which means that DH gets to run the house for a couple of hours while I go shopping alone! So I AM going to Yankee Candle and Bed, Bath & Beyond tonight! And after this morning's funk because I couldn't fit into last summer's shorts, I NEED to lose this weight!!!! So I will behave myself at least through April. Then once I see the progress, it will be easy to stay on track. It's just so hard getting back on track after so many months of not exercising regularly

The lizards are back in full force today since it's so warm - upper 70's I think. But they totally creep me out!

Just got a phone call - somebody on the way to give me a quote on pulling up some of this carpet and laying tile. Please be reasonable, please be reasonable....

Also, DH and I decided yesterday that we are having Bella put down next week. We just want to get through DD's bday on Monday and then we'll probably take her in on Tues. She's really having a hard time, sick again today. It's just not good anymore.

Oh poor you with the sucky weather .. we had our 1 and probably only spring day today so i took my daughter to the park after school!! I am now seriously counting down days am into single figurs now

You've all been busy have i been away long?? Anyway still feeling today but not as bad although worried about my ears on the plane

Debbie- I'm so sorry! I know that totally sucks. Please do NOT look at my weather ticker! Just remember, it WILL warm up and soon - it's almost April!

I just got my tile estimate - some old dude who seemed fine until we started talking about where DH works. Turns out he lives next door to DH's "arch enemy" at work!!!! Guess my quote won't be so good, huh? Better start looking for another tile guy!

Well, off to clean out the dog crate! Wish me luck!

Keep on checking. I actually got mine reduced 3 times, each for a better deal. In the end, I saved over $300! We did get the water park option and it ended up being cheaper than the plan with just the park hopper. We will be there for 3 nights though. Every so often, I just checked it on the website or if I saw offers I would price my deal out. If I got a better quote I just called them up and told them and they fixed it each time!

That has to be one of the worst jobs ever. I'm sorry to hear about Bella. Just take lots of pictures at DD birthday and give her lots of hugs. I have tears in my eyes thinking about having to make that decision. It will be the best for everyone. Right as I am typing that my older dog, Max, just hacked up something he ate outside on my new carpet. God I love him but I will be ready when they are gone.

I THINK you will have a $50 fee to change it since you are inside the 45 day window, but my savings was $100 and I had two discounts prior to that.

Not sure what Afrin is ... unfortunately i have suffered with bad ears since i was a kid and now Chloe suffers too .. just don't want any extra pain on plane as is a 9 hour flight .... Thanks for the tip though, we definitely have sudafed here

Afrin is a nasal decongestant spray. It may be states specific though. You may have something similar there? The key is here they DO NOT recommend using it for more than 3 days because it can have habit forming properties (ie, you end up getting stuffy without it), but to just use it before a flight works out well. I would go to the pharm there and ask the head. The head pharm here is a personal friend who has lots of allergy/sinus problems too, so I really trust her. Some times, as far as medication goes I think they are more current than doctors. Anyway, I hope you find something to help you before you leave. Definately wouldn't use the spay on DD though.

The generic name is oxymetazoline nasal. I'm sure a pharmacist will be able to direct you to something similar.

Have had it for ages now ... Thanks yes we have sinex here ... have used it before not good at shoving things up my nose though nose isn't too bad mainly ear and throat so fingers crossed it goes or doc will give sum antibiotics for it .. yes amoxicillen is norm what chloe and i have for ear infections .. we get them a lot .. have had others recently though cos amoxicillen seems to have stopped working on us both oh well here's hoping
