Hi ladies..
Just a quick fly by to say "HI" Happy Good Friday! I don't know if you guys noticed but I have been good at only checking in a couple times and then trying to either entertain the kids or do a chore or two. We went swimming at the YMCA again yesterday! I think DD has had a fun break. It was way too early but whatever. Now next week she will have school but no park district classes.
My Mom is the same......should get a couple test results back today checking female things and her kidney.

YES IT IS SNOWING HERE AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OMG I could scream!

The in-laws called DH yesterday to say what they were doing for Easter. It will work out since we are going to my Aunt's at noonish and they are getting together later in the afternoon but isn't that crazy???? The Thursday before Easter? I love them but they are my polar opposite!!!


Still love LOST but confused as ever......

TV Geek here - Lost will be back on April 24 and will air five new episodes. Crappy thing is it will now be on at 10pm! Ugh!

Sorry to hear about losing your designs. I really need to check out those creative design boards though - sounds like some really neat stuff over there.

I'll be thinking of you strolling around that hot and sticky golf course while I am shoveling white, wet, heavy snow. Oh well the YMCA pool is always nice. We can pretend we're someplace warm.

YES IT IS SNOWING HERE AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I cannot even believe you poor girls are getting snow! We're supposed to have beautiful bright sun all weekend, but it's FREEZING outside! The wind chill is making it feel like 20degrees. This is just not easter weather!

Well, I'm off for a few hours - back to the mall - AGAIN! Still getting a few more things for the Easter basket. Have the night to myself tonite - girls are with their dad until tomorrow. Will stop by later.

Have been with them all today and i just don't get it .. we only have 2 weeks till we go and 2 weeks there to do so much and they do not wanna think past the first day ??????
We are basically 3 families in 1 big 1 (if that makes sense) my family : my mum my dad my brother and me and my DD ... now we like to plan and have planned lots and lots .... the rest of them only know what they're doing on a couple of days and that's it ...
So my question is .. Is it just me or is it them??

ok so I was reading the first post and a couple in beytween and i'm so happy to have found this thread Finally peole like me!!!!
yes I'm a ex travel agent so I'm a planner from Waaaay back.
I need a plan and people need to be ON TIME!!!
My BF and i will be going for our B-days from Sept 29th to Oct 5th 2008 and staying at POR.
I've got pretty much all my food planned out but i want the scheduale for the F&W festival to come out first before I make anything solid.
I've got my maps and I'm working on what to next.
And this time i'm being smarter and getting a town car from the airport so we can stop and get grocery's before we go. I can't function without Dr.pepper so it a must.
But N-E WAys Love the thread and i hope to get to know all my ferllow control freaks better. have a great Easter everyone

Yea!!! I have my new hard drive installed, Dell did me right and got me hooked up to the 'net, and I'm cruising at super fast speed! Any other "drunk" postings tonight?

First of all, Erin, I totally agree with Cammie - it's THEM!!! You go Girl! You're right on target!

Disney Rider - Welcome! We are a fun bunch - tried "drunk posting" last Friday, but we all pootered out except for a couple (yes, I was a pooterer - good word, huh?).

DH and I went to the driving range - yes, I got my new golf shoes - and had a nice time. In the meantime, DD's friend's mother called to see if DD could spend the night! Woo hoo! Sure! Friday night, DH and I are on the golf course, and no DD to pick up tonight - watch out 19th hole, here we come! I haven't picked up a golf club in 2 years to the day! And I hit the ball pretty well, all things considered.

But anyway, we're just watching bball right now - I used to be sooo into March Madness, but this year it has gotten away from me - used to want to be a sport reporter, back in "the day."

Tammie - there are still several great designers on the thread. You just request a certain design after looking through them all - a lot of them post their photo bucket accounts so you can look through them all. Then buy the transfer paper, print, and iron on the shirts! It's that easy. But my MIL decided to iron one of theirs and ruined it! And it's a really cute one with the stick figure family and I don't have it saved anymore!

I know that rumblytumbly does great work (Pat and Amy are no longer designing, but it appears that their threads are still there), as does Michelle. donatalie is not taking anymore requests (she had over 100 after only about a week of posting her first designs. They are amazing!), but she mostly just does invitations anyway. Hmmm, there's a really cute one that's titled "newbie wants to play" (I think) with really cute little figures that she personalizes. Just scroll through there and you'll find lots.

There are a few different threads to check out. Check out rumblytumbly, although I just read that she's taking a month off. There are a lot of new designers, too. But most of them just post their designs, and they YOU request the personalization. OR, you can post your own request, and the designers will come to YOU with their ideas.

That's funny! I was just thinking about making some coffee with Irish cream in it - I know we have that. I have some coconut rum, that I haven't opened yet - we bought it on our cruise in 2005 I don't think I have any juice, though.

We saw a really cute design with a white Tee a black Minnie head with a red polka dot ribbon across the front and a matching ribbon above the ears. That would be cute on all of us!

I've never had a girl to play matchy with, so I want to do something. My DDIL is getting a little relunctant - I think she is afraid I will think the baby is mine!

Hey, my MIL always thought DD was hers, too. It never bothered me! Well, okay, maybe a little! It was her first grandchild so I cut her some slack!

We all have matching shirts with the mickey head with our individual names and our fave Disney character. It should be cute for pics!
