Looking For Control Freaks & Worry Warts too........ Part 2

Well everyone has gotten a lot done today. I have done nothing. DH is home today and he went to the doctors so My one day of help turned into me with 5 hrs of sleep last night( need 8 or

) SO I have taken a nap and a shower and feed DS and that is it.

I despise painting, or the disruption (and spending of money!!) of household improvements. I wish we could twitch our noses and have it done! Our kitchen floor is starting to come up in one area, and our master shower floor is cracking. The entire bathroom needs to be re-done, but I want to keep my tub. We are having friends visit in August, and that is my goal, to have it all done by then. We need to get busy getting estimates!

We joined the YMCA to start working out with DDs and for use of the pool during the summer. The girls and I went last night and I only did 30 mins on the treadmill. Tonight is out because I have a work team dinner, and tomorrow night is a dinner w/neighbor friends. I will be too full and tired to work out. I want us to go 2 times during the week and one weekend day. It was cheaper than one of the big health clubs, and they have a nice workout room and classes that are included. I hope that we can stick with it.

There just aren't enough hours in the day...

I remember days like that when the kids were little. Now, it's leave for work at 7:30am and walk in the door at 6:15pm, get dinner for the family, homework, DD10's bath, and bed. I am not productive during the week, then the weekends come and I feel like we deserve to have fun and rest! It's crazy! I don't think I can sleep 8 hrs. any more. I am used to getting less. It sounds nice though!

WDW OCTOBER 2003

My baby.............. It was one of the best trips ever! It was after 911 and WDW was trying to get people back. We stayed at GF for 7 nights - buy 4 get 3 nights free! I am NOT kidding you! I didn't really even appreciate how cheap that was. The next year the offer was for two nights free with a paid 4 and the next year *poof*all free nights were gone!

One of my all time favorites...DD in POTC going down that first waterfall!

I know we were there for my Dad's 60th so we were definitely there on the 10th. Cammie, you were probably there the week before me...

Is DH sick??? I swear, mine is too and I'm convinced that he's harder to take care of than the babies! I feel for you with the lack of sleep though. Hopefully the nap and shower made you feel a little better!

DD just got her report card - she got a "N" as in Needs Improvement in classroom conduct - the teacher said she has become very "chatty." Hmmm, wonder where she gets that? Otherwise, my little chatterbox got all A's! Yea!

Now it's Abercrombie, American Eagle, Aeropostale, Pac Sun...Highway robbery! And, to add insult to injury, I feel so OLD when I am in those stores w/my DDs. If one more cute young person mam's me! I don't feel like a mam!

What makes me feel old in those stores is the music is too loud and it's too dark! I set a 20 minute limit for my DD - that's all I can stand before I go deaf and blind!

Debbie seeing those pics makes me think how sad it will be to leave DD 17 mos home this trip.

Cammie said she was a walking advertisment for Gymboree, we are a walking ad for Hannah Andersson. Oh my daughter loves the play dresses, when she is not in her princess gear. Here is her castle..... DH built it for her. Her bed is on top and most of her toys are underneath.

Had gotten in the Disney catalog during Easter in 2003 - it was "Ballerina Minnie". It was perfect!

Laura, no your DH did NOT build that castle himself!!!! Really??? Well, what are we all worried about - we have our own resident handyman on the CFWWT - who needs to hire anyone - we'll just pay his airfare!!!!! That castle is awesome!!! If I tried to put a mattress on top of anything DH built, it would collapse in the middle of the night!

He can take credit for the construction of it. We bought plans on-line. He went to school to become a cabinet maker but through lifes wierd twists he is a computer consultant now. He ahd redone my neighbors kitchen and his parents. But my kitchen- oh no it's not done. oh well. Its just a kitchen. My DSIS's mom did the painting. I have no creative bones in my body. I just buy all the tools to do the craft. Don't get me started on how much scrapbook materials I have. I used to work at the corporate HQ of Creative Memories. -sorry got a little of topic.

OK, I think I might just win the Bonehead of the Year Award! Guess what I'm doing? OUR TAXES!!!! Actually DH wins the award - because of him I can't even file until tomorrow - yes, April 15th! To efile on the site that I use, I need to enter ID info for both of us, our driver's license info. But DH hasn't gotten his FL license yet - what's the hurry? We've only been here for 5 months!!! So I entered his SC license info but it's expired!!!! I don't care that he is sick, I still chewed him out!!!! And told him that tomorrow (I don't care that it is his super busy day of the week!!!) he WILL go to the DMV and he WILL call me with all the info! I'm so mad I could spit!!!! OK, just typing that all out made me feel better.....
