It's funny you stopped by tonight because usually everyone is here chatting away and tonight everyone is MIA! I might go to bed myself. Back is killing me and now the meds are making me sleepy.
Off to Wisco tomorrow.
My friends DH is being admitted into a rehab now. Hopefully as they figure out how to medicate him correctly for the bipolar all the other issues can be dealt with as well.

No, seriously, I leave a Disboards tab open all day - so it looks like I'm "on" but not necessarily. Crazy day today - just alot of running around--cleaning, shopping, baking. Parents will be here tomorrow so I won't be on much; probably just stopping in to see if they've posted those darn Nov. hours yet.

Tammie - Would like to hear your thoughts on the new Indy movie. I loved the series; was a little nervous when I heard they were making a new one. Hope it's as good as it's predecessors!

So it's a usual saturday morning here at the LALA household. DD8 has softball practice in 1/2 hour. Running to Ann & Hope to look at patio furniture -don't have a patio, have a Rubbermaid round white table that I love, but hate the white plastic chairs. I'm looking for swiel rocking chairs CHEAP! Plus I need to get some annuals for my FIL's grave site. My MIL comes home from the campground on Monday and I don't want the dead tulips and daffodils to get her down!

Then I have to dump mulch in the backyard flowerbed - DAMN YOU WEEDS! The I have to get prices for mulch for my MIL's flowerbeds so we can clean up her yard and sell her house.

Then the usual laundry, vaccum and clean the house.

did i mention it was my birthday? yup. I'm 28 (againx8). I really want to get a psychic reading done today, but I doubt that's going to happen. No one is available to watch the girls, so I'll have to find another time to do it.

How's everyone else's memorial weekend going?

Debbie - I know we are all so similar with the same odd things happening to us on this thread (mums, kids, dogs etc....)- but now it's bad backs!! - it's getting SPOOKY!!!!!! Why can't someone win the lottery - then maybe we will all get some good luck!!!

I priced up a trip to the Poly from here round April time next year - needless to say we will NOT be going ... I see why people stay other places then go to the resorts for a night or 2 - 2 weeks (at full price) would cost a considerable slice of our annual income! A couple more years saving and we will be back - don't know if we are going to stay on a Disney resort or not, but will be asking loads of questions nearer the time.

Got to go walk around - hope your back is improving Debbie - mine's taking a while - every day it feels a bit better, but still looking forward to not having to think about how I lean/bend/whatever..

Well DH is working a 24 hour shift today and I think I going to the DRIVE IN tonight w/ my DM DF Dsis and DB . I may have a friend babysit for me. Other than that I am home all day so I'll be around.

No I had it made I am not artistic at all. I had it made at Damicis bakery. They make such great cakes.

Debbie - so sorry you had to intervene for your neighbor's kids. It must have been really stressful for you and hard for them. I hope you get to feeling better. No fun to be traveling with that kind of yuk going on.

Cammie, Indy was pretty good - not great! I enjoyed it, but sometimes it felt like the action was a little "gratuitous" and contrived. Of course it is supposed to be a little corny - that is the fun of it! It does finish up the series nicely, but aging action heros are a little unbelievable! I did enjoy the traditional "Indy" music, and had a few flashbacks to the original and to my favorite DL ride, Indiana Jones!!!! I see they are doing a little show at DL with Indy, and also adding some Indy features to Jungle Cruise, so that should be fun when we're there!

thank you everyone for the Happy Birthday! Well my children made sure it was a day I would remember by being extra rotten!! However the entire wasn't to total waste. I planted my fil's grave and planted annuals around the yard - in total I planted over 100 annuals today. then DH took me to Vinnie T's and then over to Ann & Hope for new patio chairs. I'd been looking for chairs for awhile, but hadn't found anything I liked. You're going to laugh, but I have this great oval Rubbermaid table - that I love and paid only $50 for at Benny's, but I can't stand those horrible white plastic chairs...I think it might be because my BUTT is so BIG that I've actually broken a chair. Granted the chair was about 8 years old and thin (cheap) as anything, but it kinda leaves a mark in your mind, if you know what I mean. So we got some great steel chairs that rock on sale for 25% off. I'm so excited.
Well I'm off to eat brownies and watch TV with my kids. I hope everyone had a wonderful day!!

Tina we go to the Drive in in Milford NH it is about 1 hour from us and it is $20/per car load. Which is such a great deal. We saw Indy and Iron Man. I loved them both although Badookie only slept thru the first movie and cried for most of the second. Oh Well
