I already preordered the CD, but this is the DVD I am talking about Debbie. I guess you put your pictures in it, it mixes them with the Photopass pics, and standard Disney ones and puts it to Disney music. $79
We got that too but wasn't as impressed with it.

I see you know what I am talking about in regards to the CD. DUH! You were just there!

I am an Ebay addict and I am always so confused as to wht sellers and buyers do what they do!

Cammie - I completely missed your posts! What is up with that? Glad you found some clothes that you feel good in. That is important. Nothing sucks worse than pants that make you miserable!

I'm skipping the DVD. Debbie's not impressed. If Debbie isn't impressed with Disney stuff, it blows. :lmao: So I'm not doin' it! :rotfl2:

As for the trip... I priced out not going with free dining and it was $500 more! But you know, we stayed what 3 nights at ASmo with 2 people with dining for $950 this past trip. 5 nights at the Poly, base tickets for 3 days - which is pleanty with a little one, dining plan, all for $2100 for 2 adults and 2 kids - I'm thinking that is not bad! DH will never go for it.

DH is a sweet man. Nothing will bring him to tears faster than seeing his kids happy, and the man doesn't cry for ANYTHING! I remember for his orientation for his job, they had to do community service for a week. One day was at a daycare, he called me in hysterics. It was so funny. He is not a kid person and has a phobia of Disney like you would not believe!

However, remember the 'sot' word? I'm sure the promise of Epcot and all the drinks, no driving and a nice pool bar might work... :rolleyes1 Then again, I'm sure he will argue that a case of beer at the beach would be nice too. He is such a water junky.

Caillou - anyone else's kids watch it? I sware that nothing makes me feel quite as awful as a parent than that show. WTH? The kid could burn the house down and they'd handle it amazingly.

We had a lovely day! I was literally in and out all day. Got some laundry done, took care of the
puppy, did some dishes, checkchopped some woodOk I didn't chop wood.......

I just wanted to see who was paying attention!

Listen...I missed some posts too!!!! Were we all posting at the same time or something..? That was weird!
Hi everyone! Back from my shopping extravaganza! Got a bunch of new tshirts and some capris and shorts. Had to get a size bigger, but it's amazing how much better you feel about yourself when you're not squeezing into clothes that are too tight. I felt good in my new clothes! Yeah!
Going to have dinner; will probably be back! Later, dudettes!:thumbsup2
Glad you had a successful shopping experience!!! I love to shop! Especially when I am getting a deal!

popcorn:: That is me to the left. Eating my words. Poly, 5 nights, free dining, 3 day non-hopper tickets... $2100. Beachfront condo $800, Food $300. :sad2:
OOOPS!!!! Oh well!

Being able to experience the Disney magic ....... priceless!:wizard:
Exactlty!

I have lots of dimples. Unfortunately, they live on my thighs. I found this really great swim short that you can mix and match tops with before my trip. If you might like that sort of thing, I HIGHLY recommend it. I also got the DD top that works for me being a size G. It isn't cheap, but it was AMAZING at the pool....FYI

Love their suits! I never can find a damn coupon code or anything for there though! I hate that!
Speaking of Wow. Saw a cool thing today that I thought I would share...

WOW

MOM
Cool!

I am going to go bath the kids!

Where is everyone tonight? Dh is working so I am here alone Badookie is sleeping and I am Planning our Disney Trip for Nov. Trying to get dining plans together because they will change 300 times before final decisions are made.

I feel like such a cheapo, but there is no way I'd pay $50 to ship, and that is at least what this monster would cost. It looks new. I used it one time for a dr. visit. That is it! I might try Craigs List though. I hadn't thought of that. Thanks Tammie - great idea! I'd be happy with $75-100. I just don't want $30 for something that cost $300 new!!!!

The time thing does stink. There is no way. I think I was cashed out probably not long after you got home. Do post pics if you can! If I can do it - it is EASY! :lmao:

Yeah, I thought about the shipping. You would have to charge for it. I saw $42 charged for shipping. I know the stroller here is really heavy.

Sorry we ditched you & Tammie! Doesn't it stink when we actually have to bond with the DHs. Mine lost out on me to the TIVO last night!

I apolgize but what is CKU?
Congrats on the trip! DH:rotfl2: So funny! We are probably all a little off but whatever, that's why we found each other!

I DO love the whole Hannah & HSM deal but I LOVE the Princesses! We have those singing HSM dolls. DD brought them to school for her "star of the day" and only one came home!
Good luck with your diet! I have lost a lot of weight and STILL have a dough belly!!!! It sucks to be 40!
At least you can still visit with us occasionally from work.
Happy belated birthday to Grandpa!!!!
Where's the summer home? My P's is in Mukwonago Wis and it is also a house. We have always called it "the cottage"...silly. I decided not to go today and just stay home with our high maintence puppy!

I don't think so which is a bummer. I don't know though becasue Ebay let me change my name. It was debbie6221 and now it's WDWObsessed:rotfl2:

Hopefully I will outside most of the day. I already have the LIVE365 playing out the window and I think it is going to be gorgous out! Yeah me!

Have a GREAT SUNDAY everyone! Love ya all!

Snow was blowing sideways here today - DH was putting together a swingset/fort for DGS - he made a promise and he was keeping it! :lovestruc Now it's too cold to go out and enjoy it!:sad2:

Hahahhaa no i do it too

How do you do the buddy list thing? I added you girls to it, but I can't see when you are there or not, unless you mean the green dot?

We had a lovely day! I was literally in and out all day. Got some laundry done, took care of the
puppy, did some dishes, checkchopped some woodOk I didn't chop wood.......

busy...and yes, I was wondering if you were really chopping wood! :rotfl2:

Where is everyone tonight? Dh is working so I am here alone Badookie is sleeping and I am Planning our Disney Trip for Nov. Trying to get dining plans together because they will change 300 times before final decisions are made.

I'm here - I can book our Spring Break trip next week! I'm excited - I still need to get DH to agree to a 3 day Wonder cruise, I think! Are you still there Jillian?

That would be great! We still think it's the best thing we ever did - just that 3 or 4 days doesn't seem like enough when 7 went by so fast. Will you do DCL? We did it for our 25th - no kids!

Not sure. We can only go for 4 days I couldn't be away from DS for that long. I think maybe we will look into different things.

I've heard good things about Princess and Royal Caribbean. I don't have any experience with them - we did book a cruise for my rents for Alsaka in May with Princess - I'll let you know what they say - although, they're Senior Citizens and very sheltered, so I'm not sure if they would have the same opinion you would. :goodvibes I'm watching Oprah's Big Give - do you watch it? I suppose it's already over where you are.

Hiya all,

Well, I've started the trippie - afraid it's just the angst filled start to the journey so far... has a cute pic of the kids enjoying the snow.....

Welcome back Erin too - I didn't see anyone else I know, but I did see a lady with red/ginger curls and a white T with a lime green Mickey head printed on it I think it said Lori - but couldn't see it all..- so if that was anyone Hi!!!

Tessa

How did I miss so much!!! That's what I get for spending time with the family! :rotfl2: I've read most everything, but didn't multiquote so I know I'll miss a lot of responses that I should be making so let me just say....

I agree!

You go girl!

Absolutely!

How funny! :rotfl2:

OK, that should cover it!

Yesterday DH wakes me up (at 9:30!!!!!!) saying, "get up, I wanna go spend some money..." HELLO!!! Now you're talking my language!!!! Who said men and women can't communicate! :rotfl:

So off we went to Circuit City cause he saw a deal on a new 47" LG TV with 36 months same as cash (love those deals!!!). We've been talking about getting a new TV but held back until the house sold. Sooooo.... we ended up with a Panasonic 50" plasma!!!! That was all me, too! Only 12 months same as cash, but a nicer TV. Yeah, I know how to spend DH's money!

So came home with TV and stand. We wanted a "temporary" stand because we're thinking of getting a whole wall unit at some point, so we bought a distressed black wood grain stand with cherry accents. Looks great in the house, but needed put together. Ha! We did it without killing each other! So DH starts hooking up all the components, etc, and we have to leave to go next door for a cookout. He was so mad but we had a nice time, kids played, ate ribs (yummmmm!) then home for his to get all frustrated hooking everything up . STILL hasn't gotten Tivo hooked up - he promised tonight. He wants me to cut his hair and I said not until you get my Tivo hooked back up!!!

Soooo, we now have this extra TV, so we're moving it upstairs and the one in DD's playroom will come down to my office - oh yeah! And the entertainment stand we used to use in the family room is now in my office, too. So I finally have more storage for manuals, books, etc, things I actually use!

Got all my chair cushions recovered - DH REALLY likes it. That's a good thing cause he did NOT like the fabric when I brought it home, but it came out really good on the chairs. Then I got the curtains hung in both DD's bedroom and the Disney room. Went to AC Moore for 50% off framing and had this Disney print framed that we have had in the tube for 10 years! You know the one (it's outdated now) with Mickey walking Walt over the bridge showing him everything that he started? Well, that one always gets me choked up a little (I know, I'm a sap!). Even at 50% off with a cheap frame and cheap mat, it's still $160!!!! I know, I know.... but it's Mickey and Walt??? I had to do it - 4-6 weeks before I get it back. Now I just need a small carpet and throw for the couch and the Disney room is complete!

Gotta go work for awhile and rearrange my office. I'll check back later!

Happy Monday everyone! Oh, Tessa, I read your trip report, and anxiously awaiting the next segment! Glad you're back safe and sound - more pictures!!!! Where's Erin?

Not sure. We can only go for 4 days I couldn't be away from DS for that long. I think maybe we will look into different things.

Just a suggestion, but what about DM & DSF going too, and them keeping Badookie in their room? Would they do that? That way whenever you get to missing him, you could see him. They'd have fun playing with him in the pool and you and DH would get some alone time. I know that my DM wouldn't do something like that, but I for one would totally do that for my kids...

Okay, last night I talked DH into a trip to Disney ... NEXT YEAR. But I am happy that he has agreed to go. We are thinking 5 nights (okay I'm thinking) at the Poly. Here is the two ideas that we had.

1. Go in early May. DS will be in a preschool program that is two days a week, but it is no big deal to miss it. DS will be barely 5. DD will be 2 1/4 yrs old.

2. Go in Sept. Get free dining. DS will be in Kindergarden. It will have just started here, so he will miss out on that early bonding with his friends. We always go to the beach this time of year and this year it made it a little hard on him because the kids had already "buddied" up. DS would be almost 5 1/2, DD 2 1/2.

Thoughts? Ideas on which might be better as far as weather, enjoyment? What about missing a week of school when it just starts? Anyone done that?

ORRRRRRRRRRRR.....

Is there any other time of year that we should be looking at? I want it to not be too hot. DD has sensative skin and overheats easily. I do want to have pool time though. We are actually wanting at least one full pool day.

DM wont cruise DSF would be there in a minute Also they are a little tight on money DB is off to college this year. They would love to have him and I think I can convince DH to go back to disney or maybe Disneyland.

So I think October is a nice time of year. May is good too but can be very HOT and humid. I am not one to wait that long for a disney trip so I would pick Feb or April.

YESSSSS!!!! We love the first week in May. This will be our 3rd time going this week, and in the past 2 trips we've had a total of 1 afternoon shower, and only 2 days above 87 degrees. Most of the time was low-mid 80's with relatively low humidity. I'll let you know after this next trip, but our last trip was right before DD started kindergarten. It was perfect!!!!

I agree that this will be his first year in school and you might not want to take him out so soon after school starts for the first time.

OK, I just painted yet another wall yet another color! I have another painter coming out this week to give me a quote and he recommended this color. Who knew it would be this tough to pick a paint color???? :confused3

Good morning! Heading out to the gym - thought I'd check in on my buddies!
ORRRRRRRRRRRR.....

Is there any other time of year that we should be looking at? I want it to not be too hot. DD has sensative skin and overheats easily. I do want to have pool time though. We are actually wanting at least one full pool day.

Was all ready to respond with pros/cons to your choices when I read this.

I don't think you'll want to go in Aug. or Sept. Those months are notoriously very hot - that's why there are usually less crowds - and that's why Disney offers free dining - to get people to come regardless of the heat. If DD will have a problem with heat, I would avoid this time. Anyway, free dining is not a "set in stone" kind of thing. Disney could stop offering it at anytime. There are people on the restaurant boards who swear this is a perk that won't be around much longer (they've already shortened the time period over the years). Would hate to see you plan for Sept. for free dining and then have it not be offered.

Also, pulling DS out during the first month of starting kindergarten may be hard too. Kindergarten is a huge adjustment for some kids; starting, then leaving for a vacation, then coming back may be a bit much for him. Only you can know how you think he'll do with that.

I think May is a hit or miss kind of month. It can be hot, but not too bad. I went once in the middle of May and the weather was glorious!

Personally, my favorite times are early Dec.; early Nov.; or mid to late October. In October, you'd still have the MNSSHP going on - your kids would love that. Crowds are very managable and the weather is usually pleasant. In early Nov. or Dec., the weather, IMO, is PERFECT and the crowds are managable also. During those months, you'll have MVMCP and xmas decorations up. WDW is beautiful at this time!

Another thing to consider, to save money, is to see if you can get a code discount on your hotel. Free dining would be a huge savings, but I believe you can't use discounted room prices - so you pay full price for your hotel. If you got a 40% off room code, that would be a huge savings; paying for your food wouldn't be so bad then!

Thanks everyone. :goodvibes

Cammie: :confused3 MNSSHP & MVMCP are those discount codes or something? The Dining, I could care less if we get honestly. Not to sound like money isn't important, but I'm sure there will always be some sort of deal. DH and I talked about it last night and we'd much rather have the vacation we want with the weather we want than save a little money on tickets, or dining. We figured it was to incent people to come during less than ideal times anyway.

November would actually be a good choice for us, but then we get into the missing school again. I think mid-Oct they have a school break for half a week or so. I need to check into that too. I know one year we were in Orlando the first week of Oct and you would sweat to death just walking to your car. STICKY!

I'd love to go late to Nov or Dec but those months are just too busy for us as a family. Mid Nov starts something every weekend it seems and it doesn't let up until the next year. DH has a large family and it seems that someone is always in every weekend, or there is some party that we HAVE to go to.

Our April trip this year was great. A little Chilly, but that day were it was 89, I thought I would die! I may look at when easter falls next year. If it is early again, maybe mid-April would be a good time. That way we would avoid the school issue. I think that you all are right. I shouldn't mess with that. He loves his two day a week program, so I can only imagine how much he will love school.

Martha Stewart - I mean Kara, :rotfl2: What color did you put on the wall?

I have no idea what is up with DD this past week. She is screaming her head off when you put her down to nap. :confused3 This is new. You can tell she is tired. I don't get it. If you do only one nap during the day, she is overtired. With two, she will fuss for at least an hour. Before she'd just lay down and go to sleep no problems. :confused3 I have no nap experience from before to compare it to. DS NEVER napped. It was awful. He always slept like a champ at night though!
