Popping back in for a quick post - DD isn't home yet from play practice.

Renee - Liquor before beer, you're in the clear; beer before liquor, makes you sicker. So sad I know that - but probably couldn't tell you what the 10 Commandments were!

Renee - first of all, before I forget, what color is on your walls in the pic behind you? The first pic of you in your house? I want that wall color!!! Your family is beautiful, btw, and both your kids are precious!!!! I can see that all 4 of you kind of look alike! They say after you've been married awhile you start to look like your spouse.....

And the "rule" is .... "beer before liquor, never sicker, liquor before beer, never fear!" So you'll be fine! Man, I'm so scared that I remember that!

Debbie - you got me started with those darn smileys! They are hilarious though! I can only imagine which one you posted that got X'd out! There are some on there that I would love to post but would probably get kicked off!

The card stock I use is 67lb, so it's not real thick. I have some problems with colors sometimes too. The lime green heads that I had made for everyone? Mine is a kelly green when it's printed out. Where is Laura? She's the techie!

I just called DH and told him to stop and pick up pizza on the way home. It's such a beautiful night and I am NOT sick! I will keep telling myself that. I've done the Zicam spray and vitamin C and lots of water!!! I may take some Alka Seltzer cold before bed to help me sleep (depending whether or not I partake of any adult bevs tonight!).

The contract is signed, the buyers have 7 days to secure financing and then we have a couple little things to do to the house for them. We have to order pine straw to freshen up the beds (we use a lot of that instead of mulch in SC) and pressure wash the gutters and porches for them. That's basically it! And then we can call the summer kitchen guy to get to work!!!! So we might have it ready by 4th of July - it's a 4-6 week project!

I cracked myself up on that one, I must say

Kara, it is "Prairie Dust" D12-3 Olympic Paint from Lowes. The one in my breakfast nook/kitchen had to go with it since it is an open floorplan. That is Beachcomber 291-3, I think Lowes too. It is cool because it looks like there is a light casting a shaddow changing the colors, but only when you get up close can you tell
that it is a different color.

DD is driving me nuts today!!!! She wants to play on the internet, which is fine when I can watch her - she only sticks to Disney or Barbie.com, and we can both be on at the same time, but her room is a wreck! Her bathroom is a wreck! I just cannot get it into her head to pick up after herself. Is 7 too young for this???

Renee - it looks darker than just a light beige, is it? I want something beige but with a little ooomph to it because our family room is very light and bright with a 20' ceiling and the beige in there now is too light. It looks too "vanilla" for me. Thank you! I'll check it out - I think I've exhausted all the colors at Home Depot, so off to Lowes I will go!

Yeah, Cammie is being a good mother now and feeding her kids. It's 6:30 here and we haven't eaten yet! I'm waiting on DH with the pizza but he's still at least a 1/2 hour away! Wait til she sees that new "rule" Renee wrote!

Darn dog chewed up a corner of carpet sometime today!!! Luckily it's right where I want to replace with tile anyway.
