Hi everyone! I have been really busy the past couple of days - catching up this morning!
Cakes - really cute cakes! I used to do cakes when the kids were little - loved it until I took a cake decorating class and I had to do a cake every week - I got burned out - But I did acquire more skill which I don't use!
Hormones: hey gals - anytime you can get hormone free milk, eggs, meat, etc. you really should. We are creating an estrogen rich society, and as we get older, we suppress our progesterone production due to chemicals and toxins, pollution, etc. That causes imbalance - even more extreme PMS, cases of infertility, early menopause, etc. Little girls developing sooner with early periods and extreme mood swings can be caused by all of those hormones.
As for soy, I also read that the soy can increase the estrogen sensitivity - it can be so hard to sort out all of the facts.
Facebook: Girl's I got your emails and I plan to sign in - I just don't feel like I have time to keep up over there and here too! I have a MySpace page and don't even remember how to sign in on it!
Kara, Cute dress on ebay! I think that is a great starting price!
Your hip sounds painful! I wonder if you could see a chiropractor? Maybe you have something out of whack that is pinching a nerve or causing you to be out of balance - out of whack, out of balance - sounds nice, huh?
I think 29 is too young to have arthritis, too!
Yeah! you get to go home for Christmas!
YEAH FOR ALLY!!! It's so exciting when your child learns a milestone skill!
Okay, stop cleaning and take some time for you!!!! Do a spa day like Pam did!
Oh - you need to pack - I can't believe you are going in 3 DAYS!!!!
I wonder why your neighbors are acting like that? I hope you get something worked out today!
Pam, sorry Meghan was sick - I hope she's feeling better. I would love to do a spa party! Good for you taking the time to pamper yourself last night! I'll give you a call - I see you are busy this morning, and I'm busy later, so maybe I can call tomorrow - I'll PM you. I'm glad you are safe after the hurricane!
I am watching the coverage on FNN - so much devastation down there - it is really horrible! I think they should re-build it all cement with re-bar the way they do in the Far East!
Did you find a Prom dress?
Renee, sorry you have been having some rough days - I guess sometimes it's like that for all of us. You will have better days ahead, I'm sure!
Okay, you were cooking on vacation? You need a Disney one now!
Tina, glad you got your cushions done! How was your lottery ticket? I didn't see Geraldo. He really does end up in wierd situations, but he never gives up, does he? I don't do psychic - I just trust God to take care of us!
Debbie, nice to have you around again! Hope you are staying dry - I saw you were getting lots of water from the storm system. You are getting out of there in 3 days!!!!
Yes, Arbonne does do the online book party! I know! When you girls are ready, we'll have an online party, then when everyone gets their stuff, we'll DIS while we're all soaking in the tub - OH NOT THE TUB! - while soaking our feet with the mud masque on our faces!
Debbie, we do have the holiday line right now with all of the fancy bath and body products - with the specials everyone could get their holiday shopping done at a great discount!
I always feel like I have too many bowls, but I love tupperware, too - I'm sure I'll find something I want!
OMG! I JUST SAW PICS OF FLOODING IN CHICAGO - ARE YOU ALLRIGHT????
I see you checked in and back out while I've been catching up!
Laura, sorry Katherine is having troubles with her teeth - it's no fun to see the babies suffer and you can't really do anything about it. We found some natural teething tablets in the baby section that melt on the tongue and really seem to work for Londynn. I think they are actually sugar???? Either way, they settle her right down. I'm glad Tim's back is starting to improve.
Jillian, I hope Badookie is feeling better!
Well, I did an Arbonne booth at the Blues Festival yesterday - really fun! We decorating our tent canopy like a little spa, then set up the spa display. We invited people to have a hand treatment, and we had warm water and poured it over their hands in a bowl, and rubbed sea salt and massage oil on them. It was fun and we met alot of new people! The music was great - they did a really great event for the first time in our small town. My DSIS is down from Seattle, so she hung out with me for my afternoon shift. Then she went to a dinner party with my friend who was in the booth with us. I can't wait to hear how that went! My friend is a little kooky sometimes!
Jim and I had our 28th anniversary yesterday. He helped me set up and take down the booth - we watched a little of the DUCK game in the afternoon before my shift - GO DUCKS!!! We won, Kara! Then after we took down the booth, we went to our fav Mexican place for dinner and rented a movie - Fool's Gold - pretty good - lots of Matthew with no shirt on!
Today we have church, then I have an ice cream social for the children's ministries - then we are taking my mom out to dinner for her 70th, and we have a surprise party planned for her after dinner - I have invited friends and relatives to be at her house after dinner, so I have to pick up the cake from Baskin Robbins and get all of the party stuff delivered to her BF so she can organize the decorating and coffee making, etc.
Have a wonderful Sunday everyone! I'll check in tomorrow am for coffee!
