:rotfl: I love ALL of the rides even RRC so I will be in for everything.

So, Jillian and Tammie on RRC - who else? :confused3

You have inherited Kara's summarizing skills maybe we are on this site to much :lmao:

We are Sistas!

Here you go!
Happy Anniversary
howmany02.jpg

Gym for me today too. I pulled out my back last night and that was the final straw.

Ouch!

AKL is Amazing. We go to Boma for breakfast at least once every vacation. You Will need a car there from what I hear. It is VERY out of the way. I would say think about how much extra you are paying to see animal only in the AM? Is that worth it to you? Is the commute back to the hotel in the afternoon worth it for you? If it is then this is the place for you.

Now As for Poly I second this a the next best choice
Monorail resorts and the neverland club he would have a blast while you Carlos and Mia have a few hours to yourselves. You have to read about it I want to go there  .

Do you have a passporter yet? It really helped me decide and plan. It was worth the money. Also I could keep receipts tickets etc in there to bring home with me.

I love Tammie's summarizing!!!! Cracked me up! :rotfl2:

OK, so I've got Pam, Jillian, Laura and Tammie on ToT with me??? And Space Mtn, Splash, BTMRR and anything else?

RRC! Kali, EE, Dinosaur, Mission Space, TT

I LOVE it too (Tammie's summary)!

I DO all rides but in the past few years have been avoiding ones that might make me sick (motion sick). I always cave though and end up a little queasy some days!

Still can't commit to this trip. I again will reiterate how extremely jealous I will be but I am not sure what the next year holds yet....
My brother will hopefully be getting engaged soon as well as Mark's niece. Also I am pushing for a March WDW trip if I can get some half way decent airfare. Lastly, I can't see getting away with going in September and then again in October...We will see though.
Never say Never!

BTW I am already having nightmares that my brother and Mark's neice will get engaged the same time and start planning things for conflicting dates (or ruin one of my WDW trips)! You know how well I do with that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It will work out, Debbie - you are our ring leader - you have to be there!

ITA! Without Debbie it will only be a CF meet, not a CFWW meet!

Hey, guess what I found out from our neighbors who were in WDW in July? OK, let's see if someone can get this right - does anyone know how Disney keeps the lion on the rock on KS?

Well, I'm finally getting motivated - just swept and mopped my foyer and kitchen. Still have the bathrooms to do and dust the whole house. Jeff vacuumed the downstairs on Sunday, so I just need to do upstairs and the steps, then change all the beds. I got the kitchen counters all cleaned yesterday, so my house might actually be CLEAN by the end of the day!

Oh, and Jeff is going to the bday party/baptism this weekend. He's driving up and staying in a hotel with his parents. I told him he's making a mistake because she would never do something like that for anyone else. He's making an 8 hr drive over a weekend. Stupid. But at least Ally and I don't have to go.

And I think the main reason he's going is for his parents. Apparently BSIL's inlaws are flying in from AZ and SIL can't stand them (although they are staying at the house). They don't like her, for obvious reasons, so she tries to blame it all on them. She's even convinced her DH that they don't need to go see his parents anymore. Dead serious. They will only go if his parents pay for their airfare. But they'll drop all kinds of money on their house. Poor priorities....

And I guess the last time my inlaws went to visit her, she and her husband both ignored them the whole time, just treated them like unwanted houseguests. So that's why Jeff's going, so his parents have someone to associate with, or something like that. But we all know my inlaws have been know to exaggerate.... :rolleyes1

If I went, I know I'd make some snide remark and tick off his sister. But at this point, I really don't care. Kinda like the way I feel about our friends that were here for 4th of July. I'm so over that whole thing. I'm not going to worry about what other people think, and trying to preserve the feeling of someone who is so obviously selfish and wrong. KWIM? I need to start worrying about MY family and putting them first.

OK, rant over!!!

Tessa - Your beach pic of the girls is so cute! I'm glad you all had a great time. When is your back to school?

Tammie - :lmao: :rotfl2: I'll give you some warm nights, and scorching hot days! We are having a little bit of a reprieve from the heat. It will only be 92 today!

Martha Jr., I mean Renee - I hope that your mom keeps the kiddos for you. I am keeping my fingers crossed! A massage....oh, how nice! I am not a good vote for your resort. They really are all great. I am too frugal on the room because our family just does not spend any time in the room, except to sleep and shower! We don't even swim! We can swim here, and I usually think it's too chilly when we go in Nov. IMO, any WDW is nice!

Tina - Happy anniversary!!!

Cammie - I must hear about this tummy program! Please?!

Kara - YES! to TOT, Space Mtn, BTMRR and anything else! (but Splash) I have to confess, I do not like water rides. I know it's weird, and I am probably the ONLY one, so I will have to be the DDH on those rides:rolleyes1 , after which you all will have to carry me back to the room...:rotfl2:

Debbie - I am sorry that summer is almost over for you. Well, for everyone, but sorry that you feel sad about it. I hope that you can go on the CFWW Meet! It's your group! I know what you mean tho, about it being hard. I am keeping my fingers crossed for you, too! We start school Aug 25!

I've been having trouble sleeping, too! I was just attributing it to getting older. It could have something to do w/the 10 cups of coffee I drink all day...:rolleyes1 I am not handling the caffiene well for my old age!:rotfl:

Hi Laura and Jillian!

Joe Jonas was just on Live with Regis and Kelly and had a lime green shirt on! Maybe he's a diser!!!:rotfl2:

I love Tammie's summarizing!!!! Cracked me up! :rotfl2:

I need to find out more about these rides. I'm saying no to ToT, but I though that Rockin Roller Coaster would be fun - and Kara is saying no... :confused3 I actually like coasters - it is just the dropping in the dark over and over that seems freaky:scared:

ITA! Without Debbie it will only be a CF meet, not a CFWW meet!

Hey, guess what I found out from our neighbors who were in WDW in July? OK, let's see if someone can get this right - does anyone know how Disney keeps the lion on the rock on KS?
ITA about Debbie! :cheer2:

Um...food?

Again, thanks for all the suggestions. My gut is that honestly it is going to be probably 2 options that work best.

1. Poly for the monorail. Basically because what are the must do ADRs for us: CMs, CP, Ohana Bfast & Dinner, maybe WCC and Princesses in EPCOT. If we stay there we have direct monorail to MK, EPCOT (via asking for a place next to TTC) and then can boat via the boardwalk area over to DHS for the one afternoon we will stay there. I'm still lobbying for no AK this trip, but we will see. I'm not going to deny him if he asks.

2. POP or AS with a car. That is $1000 cheaper almost. Then, he'd probably want to upgrade to CBR - and the difference of CBR with a car and Poly w/o car is just about $700. For the flexibility that gives us with our princess napper, I'm thinking Poly is winning. We shall see.

Thanks for indulging me on this one.

Renee, I love coasters, too, but I don't like the catapult take off. You know, 0-60 is like 2 seconds? It takes my breath away and I can't enjoy the ride.

The hills are my favorite part of the coasters, not the twisting around, which is why I love Everest! I think that's my favorite at WDW. Oh, now Dinosaur? Jeff refused to ever go on it again! It scared him so bad 10 years ago.... So Ally and I are gonna go on it in November, but I think I'm gonna save RnR for her and Daddy.

Hiya all,

thanks for the compliments on the beach pic!! that was the only dull, cold day.... the rest were much nicer - we went to a different beach every day (Orkney is 30 miles by 30 miles - that's a lot of coastline!!) Did some arty shots too for printing onto canvas....

sunny day at the beach - this is my gorgeous little niece, I just wanted to keep pinching those peachy cheeks.....

orkneytrip200820080807_0109-1.jpg

arty stuff...
orkneytrip200820080806_0096-1.jpg

Sounds like a great meet you are planning - sorry can't be there..... but maybe, just maybe we will get over there in 2010 - if not then 2011!! I'm working on it........

Tessa

Tessa - I love your pictures! The arty one is cool too!

So, here is the update on my canvas. Need advice still - see below.

I started out here.
IMG_8319.jpg

But it wasn't quite doing it for me - then I went here, and thought, I THINK this may be it.

What about nesting princesses in the roses? Question for you - do I just do two since the princesses are kinda flat at the bottom or do I do 4?

The letters are to just show you the look - I need to cut them out of brown still (those are the old pink letters flipped over so you can see the brown shaddow on the pink). Also, that cardstock is just to give you the idea - I'll actually paint it pink.

So what started out as a nice romantic evening without the children has now turned into take out and an all night packing adventure with my DH. :confused3 I don't know why??

Renee, I like it better without the window frames for the princesses. I think. I'm still not 100% sure what it's going to look like. I just can't seem to wrap my mind around this!

Did so well eating today and getting my water, until I just got a hankerin for some saltine crackers (plus I was hungry!). I just have no will power these days! :sad2:

OK, funny story in the news today - y'all know Mini Me? Verne Troyer? Yeah, his ex girlfriend has released a sex tape of him! I know, EWWWWW!

OK, since nobody responded to the lion on the rock? My neighbors were chatting up a CM at AK who told them that the rock is air conditioned! That's how they keep the lion always on the rock in perfect view for guest on KS! Neat, huh?

It was so funny, before they went they told me they probably wouldn't upgrade to FL resident passes cause "we're not really into Disney." Not only did they upgrade (for a total of $30 for 5 people!) but they all got into pin trading! You should see the pins they came back with! And they got a list everyday of pin collections and tried to get every pin in each collection. They were crazy! But they're definitely "into" Disney now!!!!

Mini - me: OLD NEWS there, Kara - old news. :sad2: And, my thoughts... :scared:

The fact that you don't get the canvas bothers me for some reason - is it THAT out there? Seriously.

Or is it just stupid to put her name on the wall of her room? It is basically hang over the changing table base that we have. Should I find a pic? :surfweb:

NO!!! I don't think it's stupid at all! I just can't picture it, for whatever reason. But remember, you're using scrapbooking techniques and I just can't figure that out either. :confused3

So I got the whole downstairs clean except finishing up the bathrooms. But at least I got all the floors mopped. My house actually is clean right now - well, at least the downstairs. Now after Ally and I come back from dinner and shopping, I need to put clean sheets on her bed and clean the two bathrooms upstairs. But it's rainy and nasty outside, so I don't mind cleaning on days like this.

Gotta run - I'll check in later!

Okay, so here we go. Room present day. Remember the pink ribbon - going to see about attaching that to the top of the curtains to create more interest - not sure about it yet, but that is what I'm thinking.

The canvas is to replace the one over the changing table. And I will get some cover for the recliner, though at this stage of the game I'd really like to get it out of there. (Mental note ladies - see that color - that is what happens when you tell your husband that your rocker hurts your back and to stop by and just get one at Lazyboy. :sad2: )

Oh wow....this doesn't seem like a good thing! Good luck!

Kara..I LOVE your KS fact! That is so cute!

Renee...I will just leave all the advice to the experts here! You over achievers are starting to give me a complex!

lol I bought almost the same chair when I was in my "nesting" phase with Beth. It is ugly but I loved having it.

Laura Did I miss the boat with you visiting me in Wisconsin?

lol I bought almost the same chair when I was in my "nesting" phase with Beth. It is ugly but I loved having it.
Well, I guess I should explain that it was originally bought for Nicolas' 3 shades of blue sports nursery. :rolleyes1 Yeah, you can imagine how well it went in there.

Sounds like a great meet you are planning - sorry can't be there..... but maybe, just maybe we will get over there in 2010 - if not then 2011!! I'm working on it........

Sorry to hear that, but good for you! Will it be Disney again? Your neice is a cutie, and those rocks look cool!

So what started out as a nice romantic evening without the children has now turned into take out and an all night packing adventure with my DH. :confused3 I don't know why??

Sorry to hear that too, but at least you're packing for a trip! When do you leave? I can't see your ticker.

It was so funny, before they went they told me they probably wouldn't upgrade to FL resident passes cause "we're not really into Disney." Not only did they upgrade (for a total of $30 for 5 people!) but they all got into pin trading! You should see the pins they came back with! You should get a finder's fee! I am looking tonight to see what the price difference is between an AP and 4 day park hopper + 6 day one park tickets. My family does one park a day commando, and some parks more than one day when we go. I liked the KS fact. I cannot blame that lion! I try to stay in the AC as much as possible in this heat.

Renee - The canvas is turning out very cute! I like the princesses in the corners w/the roses. That's a lot of hard work, cutting out all of those pieces! Too big a project for me, just like the scrapbooks. Does that mean you're getting rid of the sheep picture, or moving it? I hope that your back feels better. That's not fun. It soundsl like Poly is your best choice!

We are back from Freshman orientation. I wrote 5 checks! I haven't totalled them yet.:scared: We joined the PTSA and of course HAD to have a school t-shirt w/Class of 2012 and an assignment planner, I HAD to have a pair of school flip flops to wear to the football games, Tay HAD to have a pair of school boxers, and we really had to put money in her lunch account. WE have school spirit (and no money! :rotfl2: ) Fun times! I keep telling Meg this is the best time of her life!

Off to start fixing dinner, get dressed for the gym, pick up kids for band practice, drop kids off at home on the way, work out, then home to watch Michael Phelps win 2 more gold medals!!! I ate nothing today, then was starving and got onion rings at Sonic. I hate their happy hour. Half the time I end up getting a snack w/my 1/2 price drink.:sad1:
