OK, so I got on the elliptical.... for a whopping 4 minutes!!!! :rotfl2: I probably burned all of 10 calories!!! Pathetic!

i feel your pain. we did 20 on the blasted eliptical today at the gym. My thighs hurt.

Hi everybody. I need to get motivated and do those deep cleaing projects.

Seems Like we are all full of projects today. I am going to try this whole Ebay thing. I am going thru all of Badookies toys today and putting the things no one will use on there we will see?

I have clothes and shoes he never even wore. electronics an old playstation and games I am going to put them on there as a bundle for $20 maybe I will get a bite who knows?

Went to Walgreen's today and they had GREAT stuff! HSM and Hannah ziplocs, buy one get one free Disney HSM & Hannah folders, notebooks, etc.
Spent too much but they were good finds!
Congrats to you who exercised! I am trying for the fall to do that again! Maybe this will be my year!

I need to sell half my life here on EBay I just NEVER take the time to list. Maybe I will do better with that in the fall as well.

Debbie - Is Elizabeth excited about Kindergarten? How fun!

We are still trying to work out 3x/week. It's hard! I only do one set on all of the machines, then 20 mins on the bike. It's not much, but all I can/want to do. I am not losing, but do notice a difference in firmness. We try to motivate each other to go.

I've only bought on eBay. I need to try selling. I too, have so much to get rid of!

We cancelled dinner for tonight. :sad1: It was partly Taylor not wanting to be alone or go to a neighbor's house, and partly because we couldn't have drinks (like I'm a real boozer, but I'd like to have one good martini!:drinking1 ). We'd have to both drive home, and then pick up the kids from marching at 9. It's Restaurant Week, and we could have gotten a 3-course meal for $35 ea at a nice restaurant. We've decided to re-schedule for a Sat in Sept, and make both the girls stay home that night to keep each other company. That way, we won't feel rushed, and can enjoy it more. So, now I have to cook dinner. :headache: I just may need to pick up take out!

Hi all!

Sorry to hear some have the blahs today. What's up with that? I'm with Pam - my "friend" doesn't visit anymore. Let my gyno take care of that for me!

Pam - How could you NOT know the Jonas Bros. had a new CD out? HELLO? It's been on our calendar for weeks! Like I said it's pretty good. Got it at Best Buy (do you have those?) - reg.price - $14.99; on sale this first week out for $7.99. Of course, I had to buy two - one for Lauren and one for Amanda. Fine with me, as long as one stays in the car!

Bought some school supplies today. A graphing calculator that Lauren needed cost $100! She asked me what she's going to have to do with it; I told her I had no clue and not to come to me for help with it! We'll be heading back out in about an hour. Dinner at Outback and then the movies. Have a good rest of the day everybody!

Pam - I used to work out 4-5 times a week for anywhere from 30 mins to an hour each time. I noticed a huge difference and it really helped me to lose weight. But it's been 6 months since I've set foot in the gym, and boy did it show when I got on the elliptical today! My muscles have really tightened up.

Cammie - I tell Ally all the time that I can't help her with science or math, but once she gets into English and literature, I'm all over that! :thumbsup2

FINALLY got her classrom and teacher assignment today. I'll have to ask Ally if she knows this teacher or not.

I have someone who keeps calling me and will not leave a voicemail. So every time they call now I just keep sending them to voicemail. I mean seriously, they've called like 10 times in the last half hour. So either they're really ticked about something, and I want to be prepared, or they are just really rude and keep hanging up and calling back. Either way, I won't take the call until they leave a message. Yeah, great customer service, huh? :lmao:

We do have Best Buy! I may have to pop in on my way home if they have them on sale and have any left! I missed the calendar appt on that one, but HSM3 is on my calendar for Oct 24!

:scared1: $100 calculator? What's next, a laptop?:confused3 I need to get one of those caculators for Megan. It was on our to do list for this weekend. I hadn't priced them yet.

My legs still feel like noodles when I get off of the bike. I wish we had home equipment, but have nowhere to put it, and have the feeling that we wouldn't use it if we did.

Hi Ladies...
Still fighting the blues! Wow! My "monthly friend" takes a toll on me some months! I hate to admit how affected I feel. My anxiety is bad, my mood is bad...I am a downer!

I have a busy day though so I probably won't check in again until tomorrow. Maybe the running around will help.

I haven't told you guys yet but I have been having TERRIBLE hip pain. Hello! I am 41 not 80! I feel like I am falling apart! Taking the meds for that along with allergy medicine don't help with my anxiety but I tried going drug free yesterday and I felt awful.

The only outside stress has been some upcoming plans that could conflict on the calender and you know how that goes with me! I am a little stressed about money right now too but aside from that I really think the anxiety is hormonal more than anything.

Cammie..I should be in town until next week so we probably will cross paths! You can always shoot me a text if you miss me! I would shoot you one back but this loser can't do that yet!
I would be freaking out about the ADRs and I really miss my computer when I am away. That's why I want to text.

Kara...way to go with the money find! That is frickin awesome!

Pam2 Thanks again for doing the contact sheet!!

Hi Tammie! How's it going!

Hi Tessa! Glad you still check in with us Americans. How's the Olympic hoopla on your end???

I have been working on a March trip at a time share and have been checking airfares myself:scared1: Oh well I will keep trying. Also, I need to book another rental car for September in case my code falls through at National.

Sorry you're feeling Yuck! I always say have some chocolate! I'm doing fine - just a balancing acti right now with the kiddos and my business. I am building up right now and don't want to back off, so I'm just working through it the best I can.

Hi everyone. Got the yucky yucky blah blahs today.

Pam - yes, the wall art is to replace the painting.

Kara & Debbie - The changing table is funny that we all have it. I wish I had bought the hutch before Pali stopped making it. :sad2:

Jillian - sorry there is so much going on right now. Considering moving from your support system is tough.

Tammie - Michaels has a new maching exclusive to them you should check out. Cricut Create is still the size of mine, but you can go up to 11.5 - I'm assuming it has like a portrait vs. landscape option. I wish I had that one. We're trying the diaper cream day 2 - a little red, but not as bad as others. I'm seriously thinking Zinc is the issue. :sad2:

Cammie - 1 week, no computer! :sad1:

Hi everyone else.

Hi Renee - I'll check on that cricuit! Sorry about the Zinc issue. At least you know she'll grow out of it soon! Any more pics of the art?

Debbie and Renee - so sorry you've got the blues! It's a rainy gloomy day here, but it makes me want to get more done, so it seems to have a backward effect of me today!

Well, I listed 5 items on ebay today! I've got the cutest Sam & Libby black maryjanes that Ally probably only wore twice. Plus some Buster Brown patent maryjanes, a beautiful white dress, and her old Carolina Panthers cheerleader outfit. And a couple other pair of shoes. I'm hoping to clear around $40 for everything.

I also have a flower girl dress she wore when she was 4. It's a beautiful satin, ivory ankle length dress with a lined, full skirt. Wonder what I could ask for that??? :confused3

After getting Ally's closet cleaned out last night, I'm ready to get rid of this crap!!!

There you go, Kara - being all organized! I'm just in survival mode right now - stuffed to the gills and no time to care!
Are you sure you're not in China right now? I could swear I saw you on the Today Show - standing with the United AL employees who brought the crew there.... Oh, it was your evil twin???

Kara - no idea what to start the dress at. Maybe what you would be comfortable getting? :confused3 That is what I did with my stuff I sold. I started the opening bid (which is all I got in most cases) at what I wanted for it. Some went well above that amount though.

It must be in the air because I just sat 4 buckets of toys in front of Mia and I'm watching what she pulls to play with. The rest is about to go "bye-bye"

I've got a box full of wooden Thomas the Train stuff that is about to hit ebay. Nicolas never really liked it at home - but loves it at the stores :confused3 . I'm figuring that by now, if he isn't into it - it isn't worth hanging on to.

Wow, everyone is in the clean out mode! Must be nesting for Fall!

Debbie - Is Elizabeth excited about Kindergarten? How fun!

$100??? I wonder how much of those fancy features she'll really need?

I joined 123 Fit in Jan - haven't gone since the end of March - I just can't figure out when to go - lame excuse! I have lost 18 pounds since then - I think its running after 3 toddlers! I'm only 6 pounds from my goal, but I really need to tone up. I'm thinking about adding another 5 - 10 pounds to my goal - get back to my weight after son 2 was born - lost 10 lbs from being preggers.

At least you know Ally's assignment now - do the other moms know her?

Maybe you have a stalker! Not me, I promise!

She will use the silly calculator all the way thru college. I dragged mine out in Calculus more times than I can count. I had to buy a different one because I needed one that did financial calculations-gotta love Future values. :rotfl2: Do I use it now, NO. Okay I did break it out when we were buying the house to check the #'s the bank was giving me. I found an error in the paperwork, of course in the banks favor.

I don't like going to the gym but I have made buddies with some older women there. They're 73 and 65 and they see me as a daughter. They are there 3 days a week for 2 hours. Their granddaughters are at the childcare place so my girls have someone to play with. They expect me to be there. I guess it is a motivator.

Ok - Laura, I'm not exactly sure what you're talking about, but you've made me feel slightly better about my purchase. I could have gotten one for $90; but spending ten bucks more got me one that came with a USB cable - which I assume can only be a good thing.:confused3

We're back home from dinner and a movie. Dinner was good; the waitress gave us moms "kiddie" to-go cups so we could take our drinks with us - the movie theater was in the same plaza. So I got to enjoy my margarita while watching!:cloud9: Movie was so-so, we thought; not as good as the first one. After the movie, Lauren and her friends conspired to have a last minute sleep-over. And guess who's house they picked? Yep - I've got four pre-teens upstairs listening to the JoBros. CD. They all have tennis together tomorrow but it sounds like it'll be raining -- again!:headache:

Have a good night everyone!

A teeny-bopper sleep over! Sounds like you need another margarita! :drinking1

Nice the waitress gave you the to go cups! I don't think we could get by with that here.

I got home at 11 from a spa party. Not sure what took so long - really nice group of ladies - got a late start because they did a dinner party first. They really enjoyed getting pampered and having their feet rubbed, though. I love to see them relax when I do these.

Have a great Thursday everyone!

P.S. Laura, I found the CFWW TR link - should be fun!:grouphug:

Cammie - sounds like a fun night - Adult to-go drinks? I like it! :thumbsup2

Tammie - glad the party went well!

Laura - you know too much about the obscure things!!! ;)

BTW, I don't know about all colleges, but Clemson requires freshmen to have a laptop!!!

OK, so last night Jeff came home, I was making Shepherds Pie (yummmm!) and I asked him to please put away his dinner dishes from the night before. He totally apologized so I think it was maybe just an honest mistake.

Then Ally and I made monkey bread! Double Yummmm! And so lo fat, too! :rolleyes1 I may have to do 5 minutes on the elliptical today! :rotfl2:

Kara you are too funny. I love monkey bread some day when you have a minute could you email me the recipe?

Well a discount just came out for the trip dates we were going to cancel so now I am forcing him to go again. I told him all of the hard work will be worth 8 days of summer in November. Once he gets there he will be happy.

Lazy day here I am taking Badookie to Monkey Joes a childrens bounce house. He loves running in all of that open space. Then off to my aunts house to help my cousin get her bag for the hospital in order. Her body started prepping for labor 2cm dialated and she lost that gross thing I wont mention on here. So we should have a new baby VERY soon. Woo HOo!!!!:woohoo:

Cammie- Margaritas and the movies I would have loved that.

ITA! :thumbsup2 Nothing like a Disney fix to settle nerves (and we all know moving is VERY nerve wracking!)

Gross thing! :lmao: I hear ya girl!

OK, so I told Jeff I want to go back on JC for a couple of months, and then go back to eating on my own. I think the fact that I spend about $80/week on the food really keeps me focused, cause I can't imagine wasting that money. But that's also the reason Jeff does NOT want me back on the plan. I think I can drop 10lbs in 6-8 weeks and then eat on my own to lose the rest. But if I get to my goal weight by Feb, 2009, I get half of my membership fee back ($250) so that is definitely something to strive for! And we all know that I'm good at finding "lost" money! ;)

OK, off to take Ally to camp!

Have a great day!

OK, Monkey Bread! And this is so great to make with little ones, cause they can help out in a big way!

3 - 10oz tubes of refrigerated buttermilk bisquits
1/2 c. sugar
1 T cinnamon
1/2 - 1 c. margarine (I just used 1/2 c.)
1 c. brown sugar
2 t. water
1/2 walnuts or pecans (I actually used more than this, just enough to line the bottom of my bundt pan)

1. Preheat oven to 350 deg, place nuts on bottom of greased bundt pan.
2. Cut each biscuit in quarters, roll in cinnamon sugar that has been mixed together (I put cinnamon and sugar in ziploc and then let Ally toss the quartered biscuits in and shake it up - no more than 12 chunks of bisquits at a time)
3. Toss bisquits into pan
4. Melt margarine with brown sugar and water; boil 2 minutes and pour over bisquits.
5. Bake for 25 minutes.

Yummmmm! Ally was able to take the cut up bisquits, dump them into the cinnamon/sugar mixture, shake it up, then put in the pan, so she really thinks she did all the work! :rotfl2:

Kara that sounds great. I think that my cousin 5 would love that. She is coming over tomorrow and she always wants to do a project when she comes over. I will go get these things today. You're a great bud:goodvibes

Quickly skimmed again. My head is killing me today.

Hope everyone is doing well. I'm going to see if I can find some Motrin.

Took Mia to the Dr. yesterday (cut the massage short to 30 minutes to take her) she has an ear infection - both ears. Poor baby.

I'll try to catch up later on - but not so sure how much I'll be on today.
