Looking for cheap way to do DLPR

My brother and his friend are going to visit friends of theirs in Europe and figure it would be fun to do one night and 2 days touring DLRP. Seems that the DLRP hotels are pretty expensive.

They have no idea what they are doing as neither one has ever been to Europe before. They will be coming in on the train from Amsterdam.

They are looking for a cheap place to stay that is easy to get to DLPR from. He will also have to get from the Paris train station to this hotel too I suppose. They will not have a car and will need to use public transportation or Taxis.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks all.

I would imagine one of the cheaper on site packages would be more cost effective on balance, compared to staying off site and paying for transport etc?

they seem pretty expensive. about 225 Euro per person for 2 people. It won't seem to let me book just one night either.

They may seem expensive as they include entrance tickets & breakfast.

try booking it up separately on one of the 'close to the magic hotels' eg the holiday inn coz u can book it on their own website and it might let you book one night and then you just order your tickets from the DLP website.

There is a link to budget hotels in the sticky at the top of the page. Lots of these are close to teh RER (train) which goes to DLP and is teh same line from central Paris.
They can often be booked for approx €30 per room per night but are very basic and there are no park tickets included
