Looking for borders to make scrapbook pages

I am looking to do scrapbook pages and maybe eventually try my hand at autograph pages and other DISigns, but I am having a hard time finding any decent borders.

I have Print Master, and I love it, but the borders that came with it are all either very fancy or specialized, like for flyers and such. Where in the world can I find the nice plain borders that so many of you use for autograph cards and pages?

I have the clip art, or at least the ones that I need for now, and can find the rest. I've figured out how to do my background colors the way that I like, and add embellishments. I'm just stumped on these borders...

Any help?

I know I use background images and cut the border from the background,

Here is one I just made to make my annual flower and garden booklet
I use paint.net

I do the same as Mel. I search with Bing or Google for borders, wallpapers or backgrounds related to the subject I want and then place a shape on top of it (usually either white or vanilla) to make it into the border I want.

Thank you ladies so much, that makes a lot of sense. I was trying to overthink it and re-invent the wheel!
