Hello everyone! I'm looking for a good place to eat during our Disney World trip next December. Food quality isn't really important (unless it's just plain awful!! :)) We'd really like a place with a nice festive, Christmasy feel. Which Disney World restaurant, do you think, has the best Christmas atmosphere? Thanks so much for any suggestions!! If anyone has any pictures, that would help also!

I'd say the Whispering Canyon Cafe at the Wilderness Lodge. The restaurant is open to the lobby and you are surrounded by the absolutely AMAZING Wilderness Lodge Christmas decorations. Before or after your meal you could wander around the lodge, relax in front of the huge fireplace, etc. The lodge is so perfectly suited to Christmas time! Plus the WCC is a really fun place to eat and we enjoy the food.

Hmm... I just found some pics of the Wilderness Lodge at Christmas. It does look beautiful! I hadn't considered this restaurant before. Actually, I was looking more towards theme park dining and hadn't considered any of the resorts!! Thanks so much for the idea! It reminded me that there are many other places to eat besides in the busy parks! I'll definately have to put this on my list of possibilities! :D :D :D

We're doing Chef Mickey's. Our ds is 4 and this was his pick for Christmas Day dinner. We had a blast in June, and they're having a "special" buffet for Christmas day.

WL is a good recommendation. Any place in the GF would be a good choice. The GF has the best Christmas decorations. The WL has the best Christmas atmosphere. In the GF there is a character mealk at 1900 Park Fare. Citricos and Narcoossees are nice, but can be expensive.

Even if you don't eat at either resort, take the time to go visit and walk around - it is time well spent.

You might consider Hoop de doo. The room is decorated for xmas and the show has an xmas theme. We loved it in 2000.

Try the Liberty Tree Tavern for dinner all the characters dress up for the holidays and the meal is tradition turkey dinner. What could be more christmassy?

Those all sound so wonderful! Now I'm going to have an even harder time deciding!!!! :D :D :D I was already considering Liberty Tree Tavern on the day we do MVMCP, and now we're definately going to at least visit Wilderness Lodge and all the monorail resorts. Perhaps we should include a stop at Fort Wilderness... :D
