Looking for BCV with room confirguration info

We are staying at BCV in Oct and have a 2 queen 2nd bedroom (well for 2 nights atleast, we have another 2 bdrm the first 2 nights and are waitlisted for the 2 queen 2nd bdrm). Anyway I was just trying to get an idea of where those rooms are and what kind of view we may have.

Maybe I can be of help...

None of the 25 (or 28) 2 bedroom 2 queen rooms will be on the first floor. Also only a handful are pool view and those are towards the ends of the building;near the self-parking or BC entry area. A large proportion are on the third floor. Also a larger proportion of 2bdrm 2Q's will have Epcot views then other room types.

A theory that was passed to me by Terry S was that the 2bdrm 2Q rooms do not have a balcony in the 2nd bedroom. So far I have found this to be true. That is why there are none on the first floor and more on the third. Take a look at a BCV picture and you will see that the third floor is designed with less balconies. There could be 28 instead of the reported 25 if all the dedicated 2 bedrooms without balconies have the 2 queens in the second bedroom (and my figuring is correct! LOL!)

Finally got on my other computer. My DD9 just discovered Zoo Tycoon!

Also, Doc has a good description of the views in this thread. (note the room numbers he posts are from his walk through and assumptions of what room type. He did a great job but there are a couple places where it is different.)

Also, if you assume the third through fifth floors have Epcot(fireworks) views in the areas highlighted by Doc, then 50% of the 2Bdrm w/2Q's will have Epcot view. So your chances are good.


Using the same criteria here are the percentages for Epcot View of the other unit types:
2Bdrm - Ded. Q/Sofa 9%
2Bdrm - Ded. 2Q 50%
2Bdrm - Lockoff 27% (if all are used for 2 bedroom)
1Bdrm 0- 21% (21% if all lockoffs are used as a studio and a 1bdrm. 0% if only ded. 1 bdrm are used.)
Studio 33-44% (33% if all lockoffs are used as a studio and a 1 bdrm. 44% if only dedicated studios are used.)
