****UPDATE - I did it! No VPN. Have a iPhone so I changed my country of residence, turned off location and put myself in flight mode! Worked a treat! Got Tiana’s, Slinky with all good times not like genie+ where the time was always super late for something like Slinky!

We head to Disney in a few weeks and want to find a way of getting lightning lanes like all the Americans. If anyone has been successful then I would love to hear how you did it!

On FB someone has reported using a GPS spoof app but it doesn't work on iPhone, only androids. Time will tell (good job I have a year until my next trip!)

Anyone used a GPS spoof app before? Any recommendations? We go to WDW in a few weeks and really don’t want to wait until we get to the US to book LLs.

Post saying turning location services off on i phone or android (certain models) and using mobile data is working but not for many. I tried doesn’t work for me either. Must be a glitch in MDE allowing it to work without a location!

I have downloaded one and did give it ago when this was first announced. Got to the purchase page but came off as I didn’t have tickets.
I go in 4 weeks so we see.
I have android phone. It is free google on App Store logo is a purple marker pin

Someone uploaded a video showing a way round it on FB (from Instagram) but most of the repliers said it didn't work for them. Something about airplane mode and turning location off. Didn't work for me either. Others have said GPS spoof app works, but others say not. I don't travel until next August, so hoping someone can find a foolproof way around it by then 🤞

Thanks. I definitely got access to the LLMP services by turning off Location Services on my iPhone (previously got the message that you couldn't book unless in the US). I just didn't have a valid booking that enabled me to test the next step.

I don’t go till 21st August on-site 14 days from 22nd so about 4 weeks. I will give everything a go on my prebook day, unless someone here goes before me and can report back.
I do have a US TA for my Disney/universal booking so that is an option for me.
Not comfortable using spoof GPS but needs must 😊
We have a week on I Drive AFTER Disney, if had know all this before would have done that first

If you are a DVC member you can call member services and they will help you buy them whilst you are still in the U.K.
This is good news. Not because it's a good way of doing it, it's a waste of time, but because Disney would have an incentive to resolve the issue to avoid spending money on DVC MS just for this.

Yes, I still have my UK home address listed and a UK mobile contact number in my MDE profile, but as long as the "Country/Region of Residence" field (below Birthdate, but above Address Book) is United States, you should be okay.

Yes! Worked for me too now. Many thanks all ! We had a summer 25 yacht club booked already so was hoping for an official fix before then, but now also looking forward to booking our 1st Christmas this year in Disney too. Always a great community on here. Thanks again.
