looking for all the dirt on SAB...

In early December it's almost always closed around dinner time. During later December it sometimes stays open later.

The water depth at the exit of the large slide is marked as 4ft/1.2m. (http://www.yourmagicaljourneys.com/images/yc/sab2.jpg)
So it's not appropriate for most younger children; you really need to be at least 54" or a reasonably good swimmer. There is also a "baby slide" but unfortunately there will be a lot of children for whom neither is appropriate.

I'm not sure about Dec hours; I think it closes at 6 or 7. But whatever they post, they stick by it! I remember walking past SAB around dinnertime on a chilly evening last Dec (when we had the El Niño monsoons). Absolutely nobody was in the pool! But there sat a poor lifeguard on duty, no doubt freezing her **** off. I wanted to tell her to go on inside!

Thanks for the info. I haven't rented one in a long time, I only know that on visits in March & again in May there were still quite a few of them in use (I mean the big yellow ones). Anyway, thanks for the update.
