Looking for Alamo/National 2010 Entertainment book codes

Hi, Planning on April 20th-May 2nd trip (Driving) want to rent a minivan . If anyone could share codes it would be greatly appreciated (I have the standard codes, the entertainment codes give more) PM me if u feel uncomfortable posting them.

Generally speaking, the Entertainment Book rates/discounts need the actual coupon in hand. So, just getting the numbers here wouldn't help much...unless that has changed.

Book using codes that you know you are entitled to. Do NOT use a code found here if you aren't entitled to use it. Sure, it may seem to be a really good deal. But, what are you going to do when you get to the rental area, and they ask you for the ID that shows you are entitled to your rate??? If you want the Entertainment Book rate, it may be best to buy the Entertainment Book itself.

Will totally agree with this! I had linked somewhere here about 1-2 months ago about a post on Fatwallet. A person had used a code they were not entitled to. They weren't asked for ID when they picked up the car BUT WERE ASKED FOR ID WHEN THEY RETURNED THE CAR! Did the person have ID...nope! She was furious that they didn't abide by the quoted price---but as everyone said the quote is based on information RENTER gives---if you provide false or misleading information they don't have to honor the rate. The person wanted to dispute with the credit card but that wouldn't go very far as person lied to rental company to get a rate.

To those asking I keep saying right now I am finding best rates with COSTCO (if you qualify and have card for as I have been asked for my card by Alamo) and the coupons linked there which are valid through December 2011).

Just be warned that you can get asked for ID on return also. If you don't have ID or even the simple Costco, BJ, Sam's or Entertainment card you might have to pay more!

well, in my case, I'd like the 2011 codes because my book is in the car, but I am at work on my lunch and would like to book now! I keep forgetting to bring the book in and register it. So I dont' think it is a big deal to POST the codes, as long as people understand they need the coupon/card when picking up. ALthough, honestly, I've never been asked for my entertainment card...

If you have waited that long ....what is wrong with waiting until after work and registering the card when you are at home? Or putting it on your seat so you can take it into work in the morning and doing it at lunch tomorrow? Or getting up and walking out to the car and getting it out since you are on your lunch when you posted this?

HONESTLY...I was asked for a simple Costco card when I rented from Alamo in Arizona once. Yes, I did have it. You never know when a rental agent is going to ask for that piece of ID required for a discount. If you don't have it with you ...the rate will change because you can't prove you qualify for it. Sure some people say use the kiosk and you don't have to show ID....well on fatwallet someone was complaining because their rate changed when THEY RETURNED THE CAR AND DIDN'T HAVE THE ID! Sure, people say I will dispute with my credit card. That won't help because your rate was based on info you provided...if you can't provide the documentation of eligibility of discount they are under no obligation to honor the rate.

IF you have the card the wait and register it and search later. If you don't have the card keep searching using legit codes you are entitled to.
