Hi

My Fiance and I have recently decided that a disney wedding is for us. Danny poped the question at disney world last July and so we have decided to return for the wedding. I know it is a little early to be doing any real planning since we are looking at August 2010, however I was wondering where would be a good place to start.

Is it too early to call a coordinator?

I already started a wishbook, but are there any other really good websites for more information?

Has anyone found a book or other paper (physical) literature that would be a good source of information?

Has anyone found any good picture sites? We are looing for pictures of ceremonies at the boardwalk.

Any advice would be helpfull. Thanks so much.

Ashly

first congrats and welcome! there are several here planning( as much as can) for 2010. There is alot of info posted that you will find helpful as well as on the link given in previous post..... good luck with your planning:goodvibes

Congratulations....IT is NEVER too early or too Late to plan a wedding. The disney fairy tale wedding team is REALLY nice and helpful.

Another good website that has a lot of good information on (I'll spell it out so it doesn't get removed) disney brides dot com. There's a lot of experienced brides that stick around to give advice to new disney brides. It's great to be able to learn from other people's experience. HTH!:goodvibes

If you look on past threads you can get all of the information you will need. Your coordinator and sales person will help you through the process. They are really good at it. There used to be an E-Book, but that site and book was pulled by the owner a few years ago. Just keep looking here and ask any questions that you need answers to we are glad to help. At 2010 you are a bit early to start the process but not to early to start saving and getting ideas that you would want to do. Go through the bridal mags, I loved the Martha Stewart one. I got the ideas for our floral arrangements from that one. We are here to help!

i agree with the above poster...mouseweddings.com was awesome in helping!! And it looks like you're almost 2 years out. I called at 18 months to get more info. But you CAN call Disney and ask for a wedding DVD :) Also do a search on youtube for Disney Fairy Tale Weddings....lots of awesome footage to start giving you ideas! Other than that, just relax and enjoy your time of being engaged!! Your wedding date will be here before you know it!!!
and we're getting married @ boardwalk too (sea breeze point)...mouseweddings.com would be the best place for photos of that location! :)
