Looking for some help and or suggestions:
Staying at POR for 5 days. 2 Adults and 2 kids (age 8 Healthy appetite/eats like an adult) and 5 yo who eats like a bird). On the DDP - 1 TS, 1 CS, 1 Snack per day. My Plan is as follows:

Sat. we arrive late afternoon. Thinking perhaps CS in DDT
Sun. Magic Kingdom - CS Lunch and CS Dinner (dinner doesn't necessarily have to be in MK)
Mon. Animal Kingdom - CS Lunch Flametree BBQ/Dinner Tusker House
Tues. Open to suggestions for C/S lunch and dinner
Wed. Magic Kingdom - CS- BOG/Dinner CRT
Thurs. Breakfast -- Chef Mickey or O'Hanas (lilo and stitch).

How do I maximize the DDT to accommodate????? Are there places I can split meals to save up my TS credits for CRT?? Any suggestions and/or help would be GREATLY appreciated!!!

Well, you can't split meals at any of the TS you have in the plan so far. You can split at almost any a la carte TS, but not AYCTE/buffet meals. However, I'm not seeing why you would need to split at TS if you're doing that much CS? Looks to me like you'd be splitting or paying OOP for CS unless you mistyped. If this is correct, Flame Tree is a great option for splitting with the chicken and ribs combo.

To Clarify - I am not planning on splitting TS - as I know that I have maxed out my TS credits with the dining I am hoping to get. I am looking at CS options that would be shareable in order to make the TS credits go further. Hope that makes sense?

Yes, now it makes perfect sense! WPE or Tangierine Cafe are two other good CS locations with meals that you could split. Also, if you use your snack credits on larger/more filling items like the new baked pasta dishes at AK or the caramel peanut apples you won't go hungry!

Unless I am missing something, I only see that you have used 4 TS credits - if you are staying 5 nights then you have 5 credits. CRT is the only 2 credit meal you have. Tusker House dinner is 1 credit and either breakfast would be 1 credit, so you have 1 more TS to play with.

Yes, I think sharing at CS locations is absolutely possible. I would imagine the 5 year old could share off someone's plate at just about every meal and you can save that CS credit each time. We are a family of 5 - 2 adults and 3 kids ages 12, 10, 6. We usually order 3 meals - my DH has his own and my kids and I share 2 meals. If we are still hungry, we look for a snack soon after. We usually travel in August, so not being overly full in the heat works for us. My one rule at Disney is not throwing away food. I would rather have too little and have to order more than see lots of food thrown away. This is also because we go OOP and don't usually get the dining plan. Food costs add up quickly!!

Thanks so much. I forgot my one other TS which is O'Hana's for dinner. I agree with the food waste. Just wondering what the best places are to share CS meals in either DTD, MK or AK

For CS sharing and maximizing credits: at DTD Wolfgang Puck Express
At MK: BOG Lunch, Cosmic Ray's Ribs & Chicken platter, IF still possible with new credits: Sleepy Hollow waffle sandwiches as a meal credit
at AK: Flametree or Pizzafari

I agree with the previous poster. Wolfgang Puck is a great place to share at DTD. Earl of Sandwich has inexpensive sandwiches so if you were low on credits, you could always pay for that one OOP.

In EPcot we sharre at Tangetine Cafe in Morocco
In DHS: Backstreet Express,
MK: Pecos Bill, BOG, and Cosmic Rays
AK- Flametree
