Looking for a wallet with a strap for DD9

I'm looking for something, not necessarily for our trip. Well, maybe.

She needs something to carry her spending money when we are out and about.

DD4 has a Minnie coin purse with a strap, and it is working well. She just leaves the money in it. It is easy for her to keep with her when we are out (cross body strap).

DD9 has an HSM "purse", but it is just too easy to put down.

I don't think that she needs something like this for our trip. We will still use a stroller and have a backpack to carry things like autograph book, etc.

Any ideas? I'm checking ebags!

My neice is 10 and I just bought her a Vera mini hipster. She really wanted one for the trip. It is big enough to put money, wallet, tickets and even the autograph book. It seals with a zipper in a lot of places. I know you said that your daughter might put it down. Instead of wearing it as a purse maybe have her wear it across the body.

Also, vera has these new lanyards like for ID cards. I am getting her one of those too because you can get like a small card wallet seperately. The wallet can attach to the lanyard and she can wear it around her next. I am thinking about doing that for myself. I wear a badge at work so it feels normal. I am not really a purse person so at times I leave it laying around.

I bought my dd10 a cute pink coach wristbag. It's big enough for her cell phone & cash. It's a Coach knockoff so it was very cheap.

I have a couple of Coach ones that ran about $60 each. I also have one prom Pier 1 that cost about $5 and was made in India. They still had some when I was there about a month ago.

Another thought is a cell phone case. These often have staps on them and some have zipper closures. They come in a wide variety of styles and of course prices.

Also, you can get a plastic case at many of the Disney resort gift shops that is waterproof and is made to hold your room key/park ticket and has room for folded cash (not a large amount) and/or credit cards. You can also find the waterproof containers (little cylinder shaped ones) at many outdoor stores,etc. These are both on lanyard (thin) type neck cords and often also have carbiner clips to use as another option.

If she will tolerate something around her neck on e-bay they sell a lanyard with attached coin purse. The coin purse was sturdy canvas and had a zipper and attached with a big plastic clip. I've seen it in pink with princesses and black with Tinkerbell and they had one with Mickey if she's more of a tomboy. I think they cost around $10.

The Vera Bradley mini Hipster is also nice as it will grow with her and they have them on sale online for $28 in select colors. Vera Bradley also sells a clip zip ID case which is just the right size for money and a couple of other little things which has a chain which will clip onto a lanyard or belt loop. This one is only $5. I have the similar square one (Zip ID Case) which has a key ring and I able was put about 15-20 in $1 bills in it folded in half along with 4 KTTW, my ID and two Photopass cards plus a few coins. This one is on sale for $6 in select colors.

Thanks for the ideas! I'll check them out. I think that she needs a lanyard or cross body bag because I'm afraid that she'll set down a wristlet. She needs something that she won't notice. I've checked out the Vera mini hipster, but I haven't found any good pics. It is good to know that it is all zippers.

Can't go wrong with a Vera Bradley purse. My mom used the mini hipster in Disney last year and loved it. You can wear it cross-body and if it is too long in the straps, you just put a knot in it to adjust the length.
