I want to eat a nice dinner the day that we go to the MK, but none of the MK TS places are striking a fancy with me.

What are some TS places that are easy to get to from MK?

Thanks!

We're doing Whispering Canyon Cafe for dinner on an MK day -- there's a boat between MK and Wilderness Lodge, which makes it easy (although perhaps not as speedy as other options).
Any of the restaurants at resorts on the monorail might be good too - I've heard good things about Kona Cafe and California Grill, depending on what you're looking for. :-)

There are so many good choices on the monorail. Kona and Grand Floridian Cafe are both excellent and casual. We've never had dinner at the concourse steakhouse but I've seen some great reviews on here lately and again it is casual.

California Grill, Narcoossee's and Citricos are all excellent but not quite so casual in atmosphere.

KONA KONA KONA!! Did I mention Kona? Our new favorite. It's in the Poly.

We really liked Kona Cafe at the Polynesian. It's simple to get to. It's casual enough so that your normal park clothes are just fine. The food is EXCELLENT. We didn't try the deserts but they looked awesome! We would go back there in a heartbeat. Great service, great food, and we love the Poly.

Concourse Steakhouse at the CR is what we are doing on one of our MK days.
We are staying at WL so we will be doing Whispering Canyon Cafe at least once.
And Trails End at FW is probably the most affordable buffet on property, and FW also has Mickeys BBQ and Hoop DEE show thing.

I would definitely try Kona or Ohana.

Depends on how nice and $$$ you want. Artist Point at WL is our favorite, and you can take the boat over there. Whispering Canyon is at WL as well. I've been to Kona but not thrilled with it, but others love it! I haven't tried anywhere else on the monorail, we're doing California Grill this trip.

I should have mentioned that we'll be on the MYW Dining plan. So that might restrict our choices a bit.

CaGrill or Narcoose's, but I think both require 2xs on MYW Dining Plan.
On our last trip my DH and I went to Liberty Tree Tavern in MK. We weren't all that pumped about it, but we had a really good time and the food was surprisingly good. So if you change your mind about leaving the MK... :earsboy:

Hard to say w/o knowing how many - who's going? Kids/no kids? We are going to trails end buffet 1st night there - no park passes needed and plan on hitting chip & dales campfire and movie afterwards. Alot of excitement and a baby step into the magic for my DD3 & DS4. We are also going to Concourse Steakhouse - in the Contemporary on the monorail loop during our stay - "normal food" and convenient. Check out the other hotel restaurants menu's and maybe something will bite - pun intented :rotfl: Good luck.
