If you had to pick one restaurant in Epcot for a romantic dinner, which would it be and why? Thanks! :goodvibes

I think the Bistro de Paris is probably the most "fine dining" location. It's on the second floor, so great location. Otherwise, Le Cellier is kinda dark and has that "mood lighting" effect, but it is pretty small and crowded so maybe not as intimate.

Hi, most restaurants in the countries are busy and loud...If I would recommend a quieter very nice restaurant it would be Coral Reef in the Living Seas....good luck...Ted

I'd probably pick the San Angel Inn. It has muted lighting, charming atmosphere, and it's kinda neat to have the boats going by.

Second choice - Le Cellier

I agree! Request a table by the window and try to schedule so your dinner is during the fireworks. We did this for an anniversary dinner and is was really nice. We had a wonderful, relaxing meal and a great view.

I just had the most romantic dinner of my life at Chefs de France.

It was our last night in the World, and we had a Ressie for 7:30. We didn't mind missing Illuminations as we had seen it earlier in the week.

I had the best meal in my recent memory (Onion Soup/Filet/Creme Brulee). While our Dessert was being brought out, the fireworks began, and we saw them all from our two person window seat.

It was like we were frozen in time as he held my hand while sharing the fireworks moment with me as well as the creme...lol.

-After, we went out into France and it was deserted. We were both feeling great, and so we just started to waltz to the France ambient music. When it switched to what I call the "Please leave the park now music", I remembered that I had my ipod in my purse. I set it on the Jack Nicholson version of La Vie En Rose from the Movie Something's gotta give, and we each put one headphone in. We shared one last dance on our trip, and it was pure magic.

Probably Bistro, with San Angel second. The other spots are just too loud to be called romantic---

Those 2 person window seats at Les Chefs are really nice. DH and I put the kids in Sandcastle Club one very rainy night and headed there. It was really a nice evening. The rain was coming down outside our window but inside was very pleasant. The food and wine were wonderful and our waiter had just the right amount of interaction.

We also did an enjoyable adult dinner at Marakkesh but don't know that I would call it "romantic".

Thanks for all the recommendations! On our honeymoon we ate at Bistro De Paris and watched the fireworks right afterwards. The food was awesome. Also ate at Victoria & Albert's and had a carriage ride afterwards. Very nice and but the food was alittle too formal for me.

Bistro is probably the only restaurant at Epcot that does not have that hectic, rush, rush, theme park atmosphere. But check the menu first to see if it appeals to you.
If you want to get out of the park for a while take a short boat ride over to the Swan and eat at Palio.
