My mom would like to have a family picture taken while we are all together in the WDW area. Will take any suggestions.

Disney Photographic Services (DPS) has packages available for family portraits, but they can be a bit pricey, IMO.

We used Randy Chapman www.chapmanphotography.com for our WDW wedding. I know he will also shoot family portraits. I have seen some lovely ones he has done on the grounds of the GF.

If you go over to the weddings and honeymoon board, you'll find the names of lots of WDW area photographers. Others that I can think of off the top of my head are Karla Fountain, Jeff Hawkins and Gary Fox.

back in February, I went to WDW to photograph a family's vacation for them....when are you going to be there... :confused3

We will be there Sept 29-Oct 9. We really are a laid back group and I own a home in emerald island resort so the back grounds can be pretty great. PM me with more details and some of your work. Could work? Deb

I'm looking for the same info. I contacted Dean Ray at WDW photographers & he will email you info with packages & prices. The number is 407-827-5946. The sitting fee is $275 which comes with a 4 x 5 portfolio of your pictures & then packages for other sizes are from $150-$600, which does not include touch ups. I'm looking for something a bit less expensive. Thanks to hmgolden for the recommendations. I'll be checking them out.

That's pricey. My trip-photography service is only US$300 per day and you'll get all the digital negatives.

You could always let one of the photo pass people take your group photo. Granted, you'll most likely have a character in your picture. I know that in Animal Kingdom in Camp Mickey and Minnie there are photo pass people there waiting for the characters to return from a break and they would take your picture.

You can also pay a certain fee, which I forget what it is, and they will give you all of your photo pass pictures on a CD and you can develop them on your own. I think that the fee is $90 for the CD (but I could be wrong on the price).
