looking for a new wallet (budget( with lots of card slots

Not really *budget*, but the zip around wallets from Coach have 12 card slots and several other dividers to keep money, stamps, etc. I can carry all of my crap and my wallet is still skinny. Also, they do not come with a check book.

The Coach zip around is my favorite. I switched to a different one last fall and I'm not crazy about it. I wanted more card holders but I just don't like the design....so I'm going back to the zip around. :) Got mine at the outlet for about $80.

I use a Kipling creativity pouch as my wallet usually.

It's flexible. I keep important cards in the center, currency/passport/checkbook in one of the larger sides and emergency/JIC items in the other large side. I have too many cards to keep in a wallet with slots. When I switch purses I just take the whole thing and move it from old to new. Very well-constructed. I have them in several colors. They also function as makeup bags, ipod and small camera case, etc. The crinkle nylon slides in and out easily even in fabric bags.

ETA: And they handwash beautifully!

If the accordion part turns over or is dropped will the cards fall out? Or do they fit in tightly? Thanks for the info!

I LOVE mine! It's small enough (and thin) that I can fit it in my back pocket without looking like I have a bulky hiney. It has four slots for CCs on one side, and a pocket for my driver's license on the other side. Inbetween is a change pocket (that can fit folded bills).

To keep the bulkiness down, I have an app on my iPhone called CardStar, where you can input all of your rewards & membership card's numbers (i.e., groceries, library, BRU, etc.) and when you pull up that card, the cashier can scan in the barcode from your iPhone.

I really don't want to hand my I-phone to a cashier as I don't know what they've been handling. Oh...I do know, the raw meat I just purchased. Ugh. Love some of the suggestions and thanks OP, I'm looking for a new wallet also with lots of slots for cards.---Kathy

$23

It says it has 9 slots, but believe me, each slot hold 3 cards. Now these aren't all credit cards, mind ya, I have library cards for me and kids, health insurance cards for me and kids, rewards cards for stores; cvs, walgreens, staples, etc....

love it :lovestruc

How do you keep track of which cards are in each slot? I've seen this wallet on QVC- it's attractive and has great reviews...but I wish you could see things better.---Kathy

I saw a little wallet that fits in a pocket at Cracker Barrel. Not real leather, I think, but only $10 and it has lots of card slots. Pretty spring blue, too.

I have never spilled everything out...I'd say they're in pretty tightly. You have to unzip and fan it open to get cards out.

A little bit of each card is showing, so it's not too hard to find things. I organize it so cards are in certain places (most used in the first slot, reward cards next, library cards in the back).

I always get compliments on it from cashiers!

The first and last slots are roomier than the rest. I keep folded up cash, receipts, and debit card and shopper club card in the first slot. There's also a tiny bit of elastic band; I keep stamps behind that.

You can really fit a lot and it's so compact! I have the red one. It's lasted me for years.

:thumbsup2

Ebay is a great source....I was able to get a front pocket small wallet for $4.00. Nothing fancy mind you, but not expensive either...I just wanted something I could use in the parks and not be bulky and hard to lug around..

I was totally going to suggest Ju-Ju-Be as well!!! They are my favorite bag company right now...well, have been for a few years. The BeRich is a great wallet.

Good luck!

Try Big Skinny. They have a clearance section. My wallet with all my cards is really, really thin.

This thread just came up on Google so maybe i can breath some life in it for more update info because a lot of the links are old

This!

I have this one: http://www.bigskinny.net/wallet-leather-trixie.html

It's lasted for years, without any issues. I have it stuffed full with cards (so many I have to put 2 cards in most slots LOL) And even then, it's only about the same size as a regular wallet with just a few cards in it!

They used to have some issues with shipping taking forever, but hopefully those have been resolved. Last time I ordered was several years ago.

well...I carry a Vera Bradley zip around wallet... it has at least 12 card slots, plus more room behind them for random cards etc.... love it!

I buy wallets in the men's department at Kohl's. The ones I buy have room for 4 credit cards/ID on each side. They also have a pocket behind the credit card slots on each side. There are two compartments for bills. The main difference between these and wallets sold in the ladies' departments is that they do not have any type of fastener to keep them closed.

I stopped trying to put the store rewards cards in my wallet. I have a zip-loc bag in my purse, and I have all of the rewards cards in there.

As well as you need something with RFID...
Maybe I'm naive... I work for a bank though and I dont honestly buy into the whole RFID protection... It isnt heavily regulated, and it isn't tested to see how well it does... and I have never used anything RFID blocking, and have only had one issue (2 weeks ago mind you On my birthday :( ) in the 10 years I have had a bank account..
I do think it would be more of a concern of people in heavily populated area. Like in NYC where you are walking in crowds daily..

All About the Benjamins from Thirty One is great with lots of room and card slots. ( I need a lot too!)
