Looking for a kid friendly deluxe, CR, Poly or AKL

We stayed at the CR last June...Bayside Tower room. Our kids loved it. The rooms were great...and very big so they had plenty of room to burn off some energy and have snacks and such. I loved it for how close it was to MK. The younger ones like MK the best and being that close and seeing it everyday right outside was magical for them. We loved how we could just walk or take the monorail to and from the MK. At night when there was a huge line to leave after the fireworks...we just walked back in about 5 minutes!! The pool area was also nice...they loved the water slide and then they would also play in the sand by the lake. The arcade was also a hit. & you really can't beat Chef Mickey's...they will never forget that! I would highly recommend the CR!!!

My sons loved the Contemporary. A hotel with the monorail going right through it! They also enjoyed playing on the sandy beach. I personally think that the pool at the Poly looks much better, but the kids still had a great time at the CR pool. The walk to MK is such a nice perk.

Any monorail resort (Polynesian, Contemporary, or Grand Floridian) would be more convenient with small children. It is much easier to roll-on / roll-off a stroller on the monorail than it is to fold up a stroller and hold a sleeping child on a bus.

Personally, I would vote for the Polynesian. Fun for the kids and nice for adults, too!

Have a fun trip!
