Walmart's today-only online sale has them for $145 with a free accessory kit. Not as good as the gift card, but you'd avoid the crowds which is always worth something to me!

Amazon has the 5th generation, 8GB for $134.99.
We ordered one and it came pretty quickly.

I order the one from walmart.com this morning for DD! It comes with a 11-piece accessory kit! I am going to check and see if the "rumored" Apple store as their 30% Ipods tomorrow. If so I may just return the one I ordered this morning!

I agree with another poster to check Amazon.com if you can and keep checking. I got very lucky when they had them for $114.99 on Tuesday afternoon thanks to another DISer who posted they were on sale. I ordered it for DH around 3:30pm and it was delivered the next day! Since Amazon doesn't charge tax or s/h (in our state/case), this was the best deal I could find. I even returned the one I had previously bought him at Target a few weeks ago! They didn't advertise this as a Lightning deal or anything that I remember and later on they were back to normal price. Good luck!

If you are a Costco member, they have a coupon for the weekend that makes them $ 125. They also have $ 60 package of ITunes cards for $ 48.00

went to Target for their 5am opening, after waiting 45 minutes in the electronic line (was everyone else's target is SUCH a mess!?!?) I didn't get one--all gone.

I have one in my cart at Amazon for $135...think that's the best I can get?? Anyone heard anything on one for Black Friday??

45 minutes in electronics is nothing. I waited two hours to check out.. there was a power outage and registers didn't come online quickly. Amazon is our best price because of free ship and no sales tax.

I'm glad I wasn't alone in my misery. I would have waited longer but they ran out. The cashier would yell out "this is the last XXX" as she rang it up. At least they let us know.....

If you go to the Apple website you can buy a refurbished ipod for cheaper. I bought my daughter's for $99. They have a variety of models for a discounted price. It comes packaged and sealed like brand new and with the same 1 year warranty.

I went to my Target at 10AM yesterday and waited in line for about 15 minutes. They had plenty.

Not only did you get a $15 gift card, you also received a $10 GC for spending over $100. So the price was actually only $120.00.

I was at my target last night at 10:30 PM and they had about 100 nano's left and the deal is still on till tonight. So if you still are looking for one I'd check with your nearest target.
